Authentic Mexican food bakery and food to go. Had the Birria quesso tacos. 5 star! The consumè was great! Will be having again soon!

I ordered two Menudo (large cups w lid) for $28. The staff at the register were on point and attentive, but the woman behind the counter where they prepare the take out food was slow, vacuous, and talked the whole time to the other food preparer. Didn't even bother to tell us it will be a while longer as she ignored us the entire time except to tell us to pay at the bakery. She never mentioned that you have to bring back the receipt w a stamped paid on it to retrieve the order or even how much it was. The Menudo was a giant disappointment. it was lukewarm and the most greasy, oily bright red base that was god awful. I had to use dawn dish wash soap and really scrub it off when some spilled on the sink. The meat (pork) were like squares of skin that was just chewy. Lastly no hominy in the Menudo. Nada. I would highly advise getting Menudo elsewhere. I cannot speak to the tacos and burritos, I was actually recommended to this business to try them. Unfortunately, it was Mother's day and my 98 year old mother wanted Menudo. read more

Hands down my new favorite spot for Mexican bread. Everything is always fresh and delicious. The concha's are huge and can be shared. The pumpkin empanadas have a prefect sweetness to them. My boys like the cookies. Let's not forget they sell tamales. The masa has a perfect texture and their chicken is yummy. I've tried the jalapeno cheese ones too. My tolerance for chili has gone down with age lol. So it was a little too spicy for me but equally as delicious as the chicken. They do have a taqueria on the other side. I have yet to try the food but I've seen lots of people coming in and out. read more

So much sweet breads to choose from! Smelled so good inside. They also had a self serve warmer with different types of tamales. They had pork in red sauce, chicken in green sauce and queso with green chili? They're $2.50 a pc, I tried both chicken & pork. They were good but it was missing something I just can't put my finger on it. It wasn't as moist as I wanted it to be but not bad. I asked if they had salsa for it but it's 50cent a pc or $3 for a pint. I ordered their red sauce with was good in flavor but not sauce enough. The green salsa was just sour and plain. I put in an order for a breakfast burrito, I got all the meats which is an extra charge. It came with beans , eggs and potatoes. The cook asked if I wanted onions and cilantro In it which of course yes. The burrito was massive and it was juicy and delicious! Great little spot to get your fix. Best place to get fresh pan dulce, they were about 1.25 a piece but that varies. The pans are always moist and made fresh. I have been here many times and they never disappoint. This is a self service bakery where you get tongs and gather the pastries that you like. Nice customer service at check out . They also have really good tamales at 2.25 a piece and next door is an attached taqueria. My go to place always for pan dulce The tamales are 10/10 for size and flavor 2.25 a piece and I believe they do have deals if you plan on getting more than a dozen. I had called to place a order just for them to put me on hold for 10 mins, I had called while I was on my way i get here to place my order in a empty restaurant looks like they had me on hold for no reason and after placing my order it's been 20 mins and the workers are just talking and taking a long time to make the order very disappointed in this. 12/23/23 Getting lunch for today & breakfast for tomorrow! Christmas Eve will be here before you know it! Ham breakfast burrito ordered. Chicken Torta ordered for lunch too!!The worker was kind and said it would be ready in 15. I went in to get it. It was crazy busy! HUGE bakery with all different Mexican foods and Mexican music playing. Heavily Spanish speaking. It was packed! Luckily, there was a younger guy that spoke English at the register. Paid for the order and he was kind and directed me to go to the other side to pick it up. Did and shortly later it was handed over with a smile. Lunchtime! Chicken Torta split and it was really delicious! Fresh and tasty! Even better with the hot sauce! Largev pieces of chicken in it. Mother said her half was one of the best she's had! While working I got lunch with the team member I was working with and we had food from El Ranchito Bakery brought in. I ordered the carnitas and their flavor was great. Flavorful and plentiful would be putting it lightly. It also came with tortillas to make some tacos. The amount of food was great and the savory pieces of the carnitas made you keep eating . So, the flavor of the tamales (green chicken and cheese and chile) is not bad. It's just pure masa and very little filling. I used my lunch break to curb my tamale craving only to be pretty disappointed by this. Will be back to try the other menu options and bread tho, I won't knock em just based on that. Unhealthy Environment Alert On September 5, 2024, at 5:30 AM, the lady who assisted my son and me did not change her gloves before handling our purchase of bolillo. My son noticed that, although she used tongs to pick up the bread roll, she touched it with her gloves while placing it in the bag. He politely asked her to replace the bolillo, but she became upset. She explained that she had been wearing the gloves inside the store and had even brought a bucket of clean water while wearing them. I chose not to mention that my son is a doctor and knows that the same gloves should not be used for both handling food and processing payment. We will not be returning to this establishment. Please be mindful of your health when visiting similar places. read more

When I go to the liquor store next door I always have to stop in and get a pan dulce from here. Their breads are really delicious but if you're going to try their hot food I would say to go for the tamales. They have 3 different types of tamales, red beef, green pork, and jalapeño cheese. They're so rich and delicious with a coffee early in the morning. But wait, there's more! There is also a carniceria inside! They sell salsa, fresh cheese, lunch meats and everything else you need to go along with a fresh warm bolio bread. When I visited I ordered a pound of cooked al pastor and fried chicharron. I have to be honest tho, I was not a fan. The chicharron was old; I was so disappointed. The al pastor was very greasy. The parking lot is sort of narrow but you can park diagonally on either side. Most people who frequent are Spanish speakers but everyone working does speak English. read more

This place is infested with roaches!!! The food is good don't get me wrong but the amount of roaches that crawl on the counter, in the food, on the ceiling is disgusting. They need to hire an exterminator to get ride of those pests. The sooner the better because this business has potential the pan Dulce and food is good but not healthy when insects are crawling around. read more

You can't beat the price and the convenience. They are busy, and fast, and the flavor of the taquitos "con todo" was awesome. (Plate for $4-6) It's like visiting your tia's kitchen... don't expect clean... but it's gonna hit the spot, or not... depending on the day. I say support this local gem. This place is horrible and the Mexican ladies that work their preparing the food is highly questionable. I mean I know there are a lot of people that work under the table but do not degrade your customers or make them feel like crap like we should kiss your ass for ordering your food at your establishment. I would have given this a 0 stars but it somehow does not let you. I went to this fake Mexican I don't what it is now because it started as a bakery now it's food and deli and I don't know what else because my mom loves that it's close to her home so per her request l went also once upon a time when I was a kid I remember it being great but you guys lost your path in why you guys own this place to begin with it's sad. Please do better and cook your food with love and care instead of anger and bitterness because it ends up being bad and tasting bad also keep in Mind the community that goes and buys your product at the end of the day is paying for you to live your lifestyle if you change maybe I would consider going back to shop there maybe but it's a hard pass. read more
