Not a great experience unfortunately. I wanted to give a local salon a try today for a pedicure to just relax and treat myself. I had gel previously and when she went to remove today she did not use the normal foil and remover she only used the dermal tool. She went to far down on 2 of my toe nails down to the tissue underneath When I asked her to stop and asked why she went to far down she said it was fine and she would paint over it. I did also call over the gentleman that works there and he seemed to agree it was too much nail sanded off but said the gel can make the nail thin, ok I know that but i have only had gel 2 times and if that was the case she should not have sanded to the meat under my nail. Today I walked in for a pedicure. Got right in the chair and received the worst pedicure ever it took an hour and fifteen minutes. The person for got to have me put my feet back in the water when she wasn't working on one. Then started with the polish without separating the toes until I reminded her . Botched one big toe and had to start it over. Kept using a brush and remover to make corrections. That stained the skin around the toes. Someone else came by and cleaned that up a bit and put on the top coat. Still looks fairly bad. read more

I walked in Pampered Nails to the staff arguing with one another. It was 45min before their closing time and I was the only customer in the establishment. I asked for an eyebrow wax and the girl said, " someone will be right with u. " 15mins later a gal comes out and takes me in the back. She was banging things around as I'm assuming she was still mad from arguing with her co-worker? Anyway, she turns to me and very impatiently says, " so what u want hah? " I was not about to let this lady touch me let alone make my eyebrows beautiful, so I left. I'm sorry that you all had a bad experience but mine was wonderful. I was acknowledged and greeted the second I walked in for my pedi appointment. A few minutes later, Melissa put me in to soak. She was very sweet and polite as we conversed, getting to know one another. She is well-versed in English, which is such a plus and she did a great job. Since this is only my 3rd pedicure, Melissa tried hard not to tickle my feet, as she made fast and thorough work on them. My feet looked awesome when I left! I would definitely come back here again. Made an appointment with my daughter for a pedicure and manicure. Long uncomfortable wait. Rushed service. My daughters nails are scabbed from the manicurist cutting her repeatedly. My pedicure was done very poorly. Streaks through the color on toenails and the polish was applied sloppily. Employees look discouraged and tired. This was a rare treat for myself and my daughter, and unfortunately, the welcome mat was not out that particular day. read more

I have had nails done and been very satisfied. The polish stays on until my next fill and I have never had a nail break or pop off unlike some other salons. My friend and I had a terrible experience. I got a pedicure and my polish chipped off within a few days! Within 24 hrs, my big toe had lost half its polish. My friend got a mani-pedi. Her pedicure experience was the same as mine but her manicure even worse. When they trimmed her nails they were not flat, but on an angle so my friend asked they could fix them, their response "It looks fine to me" and they refused to file them flat! The nail tech kept hitting my cuticles, would file in the same place at high speed, until it burned me. This happened multiple times-then when said it hurt I was told this is the only way. Went in and picked out a color first thing, almost all the colors were empty and nothing was organized, barely had any colors to choose from. Sat down to have my acrylics put on and my manicurist didn't push back my cuticles, clean my nails, or cut my nails at all. After she was done I looked at them and the polish is uneven and not thick enough, they already look grown out because she didn't touch my cuticles. Just called to see if they would redo them since it's supposed to last up to 2 weeks and she told me no that's I'd have to just come in and pay again... I was so surprised when they took me in as a walk-in last Friday evening. I was greeted immediately when I walked in the door and seated right away. The massage chair was comfortable and the pedicure was amazing. It was a fun atmosphere because the ladies interacted with each other with friendly conversation from beginning to end.
