Dirty salon & the nails they do are just okay. The final straw was when I saw an employee come out of the bathroom and not wash her hands. She went straight to sit down to do nails. Disgusting. As far as cleanliness, they should be wiping down their station in between every client. instead, it seems it's not done at all. Unfortunately, I have to give this place a bad rating because of one woman and she appears to be either the manager or owner. Her customer service was horrible to not just me but everyone I saw her interact with, and she did a mediocre job on my nails. The deluxe pedicure however, was amazing. Make sure to pay attention to the charges because apparently even with a new acrylic set, they up charge you for gel even if you don't ask for gel. Pricing seems to be intentionally deceiving. read more

I love how they do the builder gel. Great job for the three people who do them. HOWEVER, customer service provided by the owner very, very bad. Owner doesn't care if you wait 45 minutes even though you have an appointment . She acts as though she couldn't care less you're there or that you ever return. Mine wasn't as bad as it seems this lady's was in the review below, but it was my first time ever getting a nail infection from getting my nails done. My daughter and I each had a pedicure done. I was talked into what the nail tech called "callus remover" for an extra $7. I said ok but felt like it would be something different than a normal scrub on your feet. It was not. I didn't say anything but if course was charged an extra $7. I also heard another customer questioning this fee. Then at the counter there was a discussion of cash vs. Debit card. I used the ATM because the fee was only .15 Today, two days later I got another charge for $2.50 for the fee. So, basically I feel deceived over the $7 callus remover charge and the $2.50 ATM fee that showed up 2 days later. BTW, the machine is posted with a .15 fee. Very deceptive. It pains me greatly to leave this review because I really loved my experiences at Allure but not as much as the pain I have been in since early August 2024 after getting dips here for the first time. This was my go to salon until I got dips done. Within 3 days this nasty infection began developing. It spread to the ring finger, disfigured my nail bed, was & is still is extremely painful. I've been through many over the counter medicines, three 10 day cycles of heavy antibiotics & it still has not gone away. I heard that dips are not sanitary as they are dipping all of our fingers in the same pot of material as everyone else. I believe it now! The skin on both the right pinky & ring finger is still cracking, bleeding, blistering & looks ghastly! It has cost me four medical co-pays totaling $170 plus $85 in prescription medications, boxes & boxes of bandages & ridiculous pain. The Dr.'s diagnosis is that this is an incredibly powerful staph infection & is resistant to meds normally prescribed for staph. My advice is that you stay as far away from dip nails as possible. All else at this salon seemed fine except the dip process. This infection has been almost three months of the most horrifying experience! Very sad b/c I loved this place. read more

I came in with my future daughter in law on the day before her wedding. We were there on 4/19/24. I was very disappointed with our service. #1 the gel manicure was painful for the bride to be. She did. Or enjoy the process and this was her 1st manicure. #2 I asked that we both get our manicures at the same time and set an appointment for that but we were seen about 20 minutes late and not at the same time. #3 my normal manicure started chipping the same day. It looked awful by the wedding the next day. If I painted my own nails they would look good at least a week. Something is wrong here. read more

My friend was looking for a new place to have her nails done and I recommend Allure. She made us both 5:30 appointments. We arrived on time. I waited until 6:00 and my friend sat waiting until 6:15. I could let the long waits despite having appointments go but not the rest. My gel manicure went fine but not my friends. The Technician put super glue on the tips of her nails but only on one hand. He never said why. He also did not file the stuff collected in the super glue off and the tips of her thumbs are darker. He hit the bottom of one nail with the grinder leaving the skin red and sore. When he turned the towel over to use the other side there were pink nail clippings on it. They were not hers. I was done with no complaints. My friend was the last person. At one point 2 people were working on her. It was close to 7 and the employees car pool. They were all gathering around my friend obviously wanting to leave. It was not her fault her nails were not started until 6:15. It was all very awkward. She had to ask for another coat of polish. She will never go back and I am sorry for recommending them. read more

I'd leave zero stars if I could. Typically when I get a gel manicure done, the tips stay perfect until my nails grow out so much that I have to get a new set or remove the gel because of how much new nail is showing. Meaning, I can keep the tips perfect - no matter how much I work with or use my hands - for well over a month. The gel manicure I rec'd here was horrible from the start (wouldn't cut my nails to make them all even, didn't file them properly, paint all over my skin and the gel painted on lumpy) and I had zero idea how to communicate anything. Especially after hearing the owner or manager person complain loudly about a previous customer wanting their money back, which pushed into an uncomfortable silence. However now, after looking at half of my nail tips that chipped in under 3 weeks - I've decided it's best to speak up and warn other people. I will not be returning. read more

My daughter went here today. Her first time being away from her 4 month old baby and I had to bring her baby to her. She had only been in there about 10 minutes, long enough to get her cuticles cut but nothing else. Baby wasn't happy and my daughter had to leave, which she was gladly willing to pay for what she had done. They charged her $23!!!!!!! Just for cuticle cut and nothing else. If I could give less I would. Firstly they were EXTREMELY rude the entire time, to not only me but everyone in the salon. Then when I expressed pain after the tech dug into my cuticle, she simply proceeded to mock me instead of apologizing. I came in needing one nail replaced which she had to do over twice and is still misshapen. After requesting to finish the service because she had made the same mistake 4 times, she proceeded to argue with her fellow technician for several minutes instead of finishing the service and throw a temper tantrum about how apparently she just can't give good service. She also GLUED her finger to mine and didn't apologize or get the remaining glue off of my finger. Had my nails done for the first time in 2 years since being a SAHM. This was supposed to be a relaxing treat, it turned into me trying to walk out mid service the owner having to step in and try to salvage my business. They use dremels non stop. My nails were perfect and healthy for dip and the young lady burnt me multiple times & wouldn't listen when I kept asking for the tips to be shorter because I still change diapers/have a small child. I ended up taking them off and my nails are PAPER thin. My fingers are so sore. I wish I had never gone to get my nails done. Only reason they got 2 starts is because the set did look pretty. Arrived to my appointment at 11am on time and checked in. I was told it would be a few minutes. While I waited for 25 minutes, three nail techs were just chilling during that time. four walk-ins came in and we were all seated at the same time around (nail chilling got to work). it was a bummer to have my appointment time ignored when there were nail techs that could have seated me. Also when I approached the manager at 11:25 she just told me I had to wait. I told her I had an appointment and my time was valuable. she didn't like that I said that to her. I didn't like that I was being brushed off. Also to note, I've been in many nail salons that run behind. It's pretty common. Usually they say sorry for the wait and I'm cool with that. This was different, not sure if it's because I'm older, Mexican, or what, but they definitely treated me with less acknowledgment than the other customers. not a good experience at all, however I did tip the nail tech well for his work. I did a design that yes was difficult, and they said they could do it but it turned out horribly in the paint wasn't even fully on my nail you can still see it it was way too thin. I LOVE THIS PLACE!!! I have had mani/pedis before with varying degrees of success. Started coming here in May due to son's wedding, a family member had arranged for wedding party to get done here. So friendly, flexible schedule (walk-ins too and never have waited long). My gel pedicures last "forever" and I generally come back at about 3 wks just because my nails have grown out. Selection of colors great, very affordable, deluxe pedi includes awesome foot and calf massage, awesome massage chairs during pedi, such a relaxing event; they do really cool hand-painted designs on nails if wanted. Everyone is very friendly and caters to your needs, asking all along the way if all is OK so far. I've had various different people here do it and every time has been an awesome experience. Went here a few months ago with a friend for a pedicure. It was my first time going to the salon and while the second nail tech was kind, my first nail tech was rude and short with me. They pushed gel nails on me when I was adamant I wanted a basic pedicure to the point where I finally upgraded to that service even though I hate gel nails -- especially on my feet. I ended up getting ingrown toenails from the service-- never again. They rushed me to get my shoes on and to pay as if they thought I was going to flee the building without paying for the service. Just overall crappy experience and I won't ever be back. Not sure how they're still in business. read more

I told her I wanted my nails sharp and she tried schooling me on what the nail terms of sharp square were. My poor friend was cut up so bad her nail beds are bleeding and she almost cried.
