I am new to the area so have sampled a few salons looking for my new "home"...and safe to say I think I found it at Pamper Nails and Spa! I went in as a walk in on Tuesday or Thursday, Charlie did an incredible pedicure. The massage was nothing short of AH-mazing!! I could tell a difference in my legs just walking out to the car, so refreshed! I had my nails done a couple weeks ago at a different salon and was not happy with them. Due to a slow Saturday at home, I decided to go to Pamper to get my nails redone (mostly needed them shorter for work). I walked in and was promptly greeted by Ana (Anna?) the manager. She was fast, efficient, friendly, and I did not get cut once!! Terrible experience I came for a pedicure and left with nothing. First I want to say I myself am a nail tech but I like to get pampered from time to time and get my toes done. I came in the guy was very short and dry which ok fine but he did a terrible pedicure. There was no shaping of my toenail and the paint job was terrible after I told him I was dissatisfied with the way he polished my toes and would like them shaped a little better he got an attitude and started talking about me in their language. The polish was very sloppy and didn't paint the entire toe on a couple of them. Well, they just lost a new customer. I just moved to AZ and this was my second visit for a pedicure. my first pedicure was great. Today not so much. Not sure if this guy is just there when in a pinch because he was not interested in being there. As an FYI in case you go there, there are three men, do NOT go to the oldest one. I left extremely disappointed. He barely did anything and didn't even cover my entire toe nails with polish. I set the massage chair for 30 minutes and it had 10 minutes to go and I was already waiting for toes to dry. He removed my polish, cut my nails, added a drop of oil to by big toe and then just ran his fingers across the rest of my toes. He used the cuticle pusher on one toe and I literally watched him just sort of ran it across my other toes. No removing dead skin from heels, he pulled the scrubber out and briefly ran it along my heel like maybe 5 seconds, as in I touched your foot so I did it. Massage was about 2 minutes per leg if that. I could have done this myself at home and it would have come out better. After he was done he ran over to an empty chair and looked like he was taking a nap. I am a good tipper, rounding up and giving 20%. Well my tip this time was $2.00 on $28.00. Sorry, but my tip reflected his efforts ( Pathetic) I really should have just stopped him and walked out when I realized he was not planning on putting any effort into my pedicure. The ladies in my community go to another salon that is twice as far, I wondered why, but now I know. it's too bad I need to go further out as well. read more

The owner is rude and argues with patrons and previouly has argued with my daughter when she didn't like a specific detail she wanted corrected. I requested a service and the tech insisted "it won't look good". I'm a 30+ yr nail tech and know what I was asking for. I only wanted a gel polish change and was quite aware of how a French tip would look like without a fill. The tech said I wouldn't like it and to go to another salon. My husband & I had pedicures scheduled for 9am. Lori was there & got everyone set up in chairs. Owners & other workers were not around. Finally at 9:15 owner & family arrived. Still no one to do my pedicure. After 30 minutes - my husbands feet were almost done & still nothing for me. I got off the chair & sat in waiting room knowing full well my pedicure would be rushed or not done at all. Finally at 9:40 owners son ran in. READ ME BEFORE YOU VISIT.....Unfortunately this salon is extremely unsanitary....gloves and tools were not changed in between clients, clutter and nail dust everywhere, dirty surfaces and floors. When I requested that my nail technician please switch his gloves after starting my manicure in the same gloves he wore while doing a pedicure for the client next to me....he angrily complied. To top it off he gave me painful cuts on both sides of my ring finger. The end result was disappointing as well. They couldn't do the simple design I requested stating they would need a sticker to complete the design I wanted. Overall they lacked sympathy and skill and were not apologetic for the poor service. Not pleased. I went I'm a few weeks ago on a Saturday to get my nails done. Full set, no white tips, nothing special. I was charged $32!!!! Seriously! I have never paid more than $25 for a set of plain acrylic nails. The tech was nice-ish but sort of rude at the same time. I almost felt like an outsider. Very cliquish. She actually excused herself during my set to go wax eyebrows. My nails came out like crap and I didn't really felt like my wishes weren't even addressed. They were big, bubbly and ugly. I had my nails done here a few times and they were done alright. I have longer nails and I'm thinking that they just do better with short nails. My nails were a little lumpy and I had to take the file to them when I got home and re-polished them. Too bad because they were pretty close in the area. Worst experience ever!! Went in to have my gel nail polish changed. I was helped by a male, name unknown, spoke little or no English. He did ok at soaking off the previous gel polish. However, he sanded down my nails to the point that they hurt. I had to pull back my hand several times and tell him it hurt. He did an ok job on the color change but shortly after I got home my nails started to chip.. It was evident that he had weekend them so much that the have began to crack and break. My nails are so weak and super short. I will have to completely let the gel grow off my nails to hopefully a healthier nail growth. I won't even attempt to have them done until the gel grows off all the way. HORRIBLE!!! Never ever have I had any of my nails chip with gel polish! He damaged them so badly!!!! Sadly this is close to my home in AZ but it will be worth driving a distance to find the right place. read more
