I loved going here previously and the staff are very friendly, however I am disappointed with my last appointment. It has been not even a week after my appointment and my nail has already snapped. I wouldn't be making this review if I was doing something where it would warrant my nail possibly breaking off from my own reckless doing, but all I did was simply close a kitchen drawer and the nail snapped completely in half. It didn't get caught nor did I slam it hard on the surface, so I was genuinely confused when I heard it break off. I honestly have never had nails come off this quick before. When I called, they just said it's on the customer to take care of their nails and it's out of their control. I'll have to pay extra to fix it. Just be wary of this. I don't normally write bad reviews, but it's honestly ridiculous that my nails didn't even last a full week. I had even tipped $20 because I liked how they came out. I would not recommend this place at all. I gifted my mom a Mother's Day nail appointment, and her nails were done terribly. There were noticeable gaps between her natural nail and the acrylic, which can trap food and moisture and potentially cause fungus or infection. The nails were also extremely thick and uneven. I told her they were not done correctly, so she went back to have them fixed. Unfortunately, instead of properly redoing them from scratch, they only partially fixed them and still left the nails looking awful. Some nails are round, others are square, some are bigger than others, and the gaps are still there. Overall, very poor quality work and disappointing service. I use regular polish, went in for a pedicure. The massage was ehh, mostly my legs and not my feet. The polish I picked was so thick and gross I had to pick another color. I asked for a flower, said if they couldn't it was fine. They said they could. They could not, polish was out on thick and lumpy, flower looks horrible. I have been coming here for 8 to 9 yrs. I've tried other salons but always come back. They always get me in same day, yet don't make me feel rushed. I get usually a pedicure and usually the Luxury spa or higher. I get a basic gel manicure if I get one. I do hear other ladies come in for French tips and I even saw a manicure using a magnet for a cats eye? Pretty cool. This means they're up on the latest fashions. After a 1.5 hour of sitting, her nails were left jagged & rough, sloppy design work & lack of top coat on numerous nails. I called to notify and request they make it right. Instead I was told, once a person leaves that is it and there is nothing they will do. He also mentioned he approached my daughter numerous times asking if all was okay. Today was one of the most horrible day, right before Valentine's ray I decide to get my nails done. I showed henry what I wanted and the pictures on the right is what they gave me!!!!Mostly sad after being a customer for 7 years I'm never going back! Henry was pretty much doing what he wanted and said that it was too hard to do. I mean if you can't do what I'm asking for then Just say that and I can find a different nail place that can manage. Jenny did my nails the first time and she was so sweet!! She did a wonderful job!! She also did my eyebrows and they came out PERFECT!!! If you want to come to a place that goes out of their way to make you feel safe during COVID19, this is NOT the place. While I understand masks are not required for everyone within the city right now, they had every single seat full - no social distancing. I was sitting right next to someone with no mask - and when I wanted to ask to move, I realized there was no place for me to go. If I hadn't paid before my service, I would have said "no thanks" and walked out then (in hindsight, I wish I still did because I was extremely uncomfortable the entire service). Also, before I sat down, they did not clean or sanitize the table, the plexiglass or any tools after servicing the person before me. The thing that REALLY upset me was when my nail tech took off his mask, rubbed his runny nose, then put the hand lotion on his hands and rubbed it on my hands. Honestly, disgusting. They will tell you to pay the 35 dollars for the foot spa pedicure because they decided to added the cheese grater to the more expensive price. I have gone so at least three times. Today is May 8th 2020, the first day that salons are able to open back up after closing for COVID19. I was fortunate to get an appointment at my favorite salon CT Nails. Of course I was curious prior to the appointment "what changes are we all going to be working through now"? I know a lot of people may be wondering the same, maybe your scared, maybe you have a compromised system, there are so many factors and reasons to have insecurities during this time. I'd like to help anyone who may be asking these questions about the recent reopening and what protocols CT Nails has implemented to ensure the safety of their staff and the safety of their clients. They are following both Gov Ducey's and the CDC guidelines but they have taken things a few steps further for everyone's added protection. Upon entering you are asked to wash your hands. You will now sit in a freshly sanitized chair and station, while there I watched as they cleaned each chair and station and sanitized after each client. Clients are spaced out, there was always a chair or station between each client unless you are family then they placed you together. The staff is wearing face masks. They have also installed face barriers between the client and the nail techs for added safety. Again I know that these are trying times, everyone needs to decide for themselves when it's the right time to venture out. When you are ready, they are ready for you! CT Nails is doing it right in my personal and professional opinion. Support small business they need us now more than ever. Came in with my 5 year old for a girls day, they weren't rude or anything but the guy who did my nails didn't speak to me at all. The massage was barely a touch. The woman who did my daughter's pedicure and mani was super nice and made sure my daughter got the full experience. Now my 3 stars comes from the fact that my nails are nothing like what I asked for, the shape is terrible and uneven the color is wrong, the clear nails aren't clear and some are way too thick. I didn't have time to complain because I needed to leave but I feel like if your job is to do nails then you should at least be able to get the shape right. read more

I have been here a couple of times because it's near my house. Unfortunately, each time I go there for a gel manicure, they end up chipping/ breaking after a week. The two times I went in, I came out with my nails feeling brittle still, as they do without gel polish. I go in to get gel obviously because the finish is supposed to sit on your nails a bit thicker to protect your nails from breaking and last a bit longer, but not here. The first time , I also asked the guy to do a third coat, and he gave me attitude and wouldn't do it. Probably won't be returning. read more
