We all want to find a spot we like and can go to on a regular basis, I thought I had found that at CT Nails. Clean, customer service, and Kristy is a sweetheart (she's hard to get in with) But I noticed the longer I went the quality of my nails went down hill.. everytime I went in my nails felt rushed. I would leave and notice they didn't fully remove my previous color, would use the wrong acrylic color for my fills, or the shape/thickness would be wonky. My first time here and I'm in love!!! Kristy is literally the nicest person ever! she talked to me the entire time. She gave me tips on how my manicure can last longer which previously nails solans I have been to tell me they last for 2 weeks and to come back in. It's very nice and clean. She even took her time and cleaned the nail polish container she was using on my nails and wiped it down. She didn't like that there was a bump on one of my fingers so she redid the color and fixed it. Overall i recommend!! read more

I had called a week prior to see if there were any openings but they were fully booked. I ended up setting up appointments for myself and my fiancé for Father's Day morning. We had a work emergency come up and forgot to call and let them know we weren't coming. I believe Cindy was the woman I spoke to and was understanding and was able to reschedule us for later in the day. We walked in and said we had an appointment and she remembered our names. Cindy did my nails and was super nice. Made sure the hot stones and towels she was using weren't too hot for me and complimented the color I had picked. My fiancé got a luxury pedicure so he could get his calluses done and the woman who did he nails even joked asking if he was gonna get the same color as me. I was on a consistent schedule rotation every other Friday with these people and paying them high tips because I appreciated them keeping my schedule consistent. However, one day the lady scheduled me incorrectly and caught a really nasty attitude with me "because I didn't show up for my appointment". When I tried to explain to her, I've been on the same schedule coming in for months and she must've misheard me when I scheduled for that week, she was still hesitant to reschedule me and still had a bad attitude. It's taken me months to leave this review because I hate leaving bad reviews but it happened to someone else I know so I feel like I need to share so people know the risk I went in for a fill and they sliced me open with the electric file and it cut deep down to the point where it cracked my real nail underneath in half. It was bleeding like crazy and they didn't even want to allow me to wash my hands! (I was so worried of infection) they stuck some super glue on it and called it a day. No discount, yes they said sorry but that didn't really cut it. My nail hurt for weeks, I was getting them done for an event and it looked horrible. Haven't had my nails done since because I'm so paranoid now. I recommend avoiding this place. read more

I started with Kristi when moved here 7 years ago and I followed her when she opened this shop. I have never been anywhere else. One time, she was not available so I tried Nancy and I have been with her for my monthly pedis ever since. Last June, I jokingly asked Nancy if she could put a moon and star on one big toe and a sun on the other and she did a perfect, beautiful free-hand work of art. This year - today - I asked for the same thing and she said she couldn't do it without a picture. There was NO reason for me to think I would need a picture since she clearly did not need one in 2022, or I would have brought one! I left extremely disappointed. I have been going there for years for my nails and pedicures and have always been more then pleased with the service. HORRIBLE AND THE OWNER DOESNT CARE!!! I went I to have my nails done for my sons wedding the next day. I have been doing my own nails for awhile now, but wanted them to be perfect for the wedding. The gentleman did a terrible job! When I went out to my vehicle and out my glasses on, I saw just how bad they were. There was polish on the sides of my nails, they had different shapes, he filed the side of my thumb and pinky nail completely off, they were all rough, they looked horrible. I went right back in and told Henry I wasn't happy. He looked at them and said "what's wrong with them", which shocked me because of how bad they looked! I pointed out the problems and he sent me back over to the gentleman who messed them up in the first place. I was furious! By the next morning, one nail was broken and by the afternoon 3 were broken. I called, Henry told me I can come back in to see THE SAME GUY. I said I don't want to see him, he clearly doesn't know what he's doing. He told me I could see someone else but I'd have to pay again. I asked for my money back, Henry said "no, money never goes back". I again told him I want my nails fixed, he hung up on me. It will take months for the damage he did to 2 of my nails to grow out. I went to get a pedicure, yes I was a walk in and I was able to get seated fast. Now as a walk in I do know they may be busy and booked with customers, I am new to the area and don't know where to go, so I will be a walk in to other shops until I find one I like. My pedicure was rushed, near asked me if I wanted any extra services like callus removal etc. The people where nice, but I don't think I will be going back. If I pay the same price as others and you take my as a walk in I should get the same service as someone with appointment. Or don't take me. Sorry I will not be back. read more

I love the customer service here. Nail salons are usually a pretty dry environment, right to business. No small talk, no laughs. But at CT, they are really mindful and make you feel welcome. Only reason I can't give four stars is because nail emergencies happen and you're LUCKY to get in here unless you have an appointment and I've never had to make nail appointments in any other city/town I've lived in, and I've lived all over the east valley. I have no issue making appointments, but if I break a nail or find myself with time to kill waiting for my husband to finish his dental appointment, grabbing a quick pedicure would be nice.. but 8/10 not gonna happen here. With that being said, I still love the environment and will get in whenever I'm able to. read more
