Burger (double) & truffle fries. AMAZING

I cannot say enough about how incredible the food was! Their burger was amazing, I haven't been this impressed with a burger in a very long time. The tacos birria... just wow, they're so good! The flatbread with fig jam even surprised me. I cannot wait to come back! The paloma was light, crisp & refreshing. The atmosphere is beautiful as well. Our waitress was friendly as can be. Definitely a must try!

Outstanding food - taste was incredible for everything we ordered - working out new restaurant kinks - but well worth the wait...

I didn't know it was two restaurants in one. I seriously thought LiveBait they sold fishing things lol. The decor is interesting, not sure the look they are going fur. But it doesn't give Italian to me. But, it's a very cool pop chic design so it works well. Food was ok. The pizza was good, but it was saggy. Could have been more crispy. Next time I would ask for it to be more done. But, it had a good flavors. The pesto was nut free which works well. Lobster roll I want a fan. They used langostino lobster which is not even really lobster, more like a cousin. It said Connecticut style so I was hoping claw meat. The bread was very good. I barely tasted the aioli on it which sucked. My fries were suppose to have old bay seasoning but they didn't. The waitress was nice and so was the person at the door. The were very friendly sweet and accommodating people.

This time it was more like the lava cakes they serve at Chili's, which is kind of like a chocolate cake with fake chocolate in the middle, not an authentic lava cake. It was a major disappointment! And it was burnt. Oh yea I forgot to add it was $16!!!

This is the bar where I bought my first beer. I started going to this bar 20 years ago (I'm 36…read morenow) This is the quintessential dive bar. It is a place where the beer is cold and shots are overflowing. I don't think the owners have even heard of a jigger before. I will always have a sentimental feeling for this place. I learned to play cricket with some serious dart players and how to sand a shuffle board (It's gone now). They also have an eclectic jukebox. However, I have to warn that in typical dive bar fashion, this one is located in a pretty sketchy strip and may not be a place for the jumpy. Fortunately the North Oakland Medical Center (or whatever it is called now) is located across the street. If believe this place has either the oldest or one of the oldest liquor licenses in MI. In sum, if you are looking for a real dive bar, look no further than Prues.

I have to admit I was a little skeptical because of where it is located but from the moment we walked in everyone was extremely friendly! The drinks are pretty cheap as well so that was a perk. The only reason I am giving it 3 stars is because you can smoke in there and being a non smoker it makes it very hard to enjoy yourself when it's nothing but a cloud of smoke. Not sure that I will go back for that reason but other than that it's a pretty cool place!
