Little bit of a hit and miss this time at the B1 Tavern. Last time I was here, I had their burger…read moreand fries, which was quite good and I was very pleased with it. Fast-forward to today, and I was a tad disappointed with the overall experience versus the last time. I thought my chicken strips were very bland and very pedestrian. Fries were still OK put the chicken was nothing to get excited about. Relative to price I thought it was a tad high at $19 as typically chicken strips and fries are more budget friendly than that at other restaurants I have been to. My wifes chicken sandwich was also bland in her own words and not very inspiring. The highlight of the meal was my 12 year old grandson's cheeseburger and fries which he loved and ate all of it in spite of its large size. That basically was the same meal I had the last time I was here and was very pleased with it as well. Service was exceptional where the waitress was super friendly with great Follow up and continues to be a strength of this business. Overall I had high expectations going into this meal based on my last experience, but alas it was not to be.

Been meaning to try this place for a while and finally took advantage of their weekday lunch…read morespecial of two sliders with a soft drink for $6.99 which is a pretty decent value in todays inflated world. Aside from the special I also ordered a side of fries to complement the burgers. The sliders themselves were well cooked where I added cheese at extra cost of $.75 a slider which I thought we a tad pricey in my opinion considering the amount of cheese that was on the slider. The taste was OK but did not rise to the better sliders I have had in this area. Relative to the fries, which I was not enamored with, they were too greasy and a bit on the soggy side versus the crunchy fries that I am more in tune with. Relative to the facility and staff, The restaurant/bar itself has a rustic sports bar vibe to it with TV's strategically placed around the bar playing the games on at the time and the various cable sports shows. The Staff was quite friendly with prompt service and good followup throughout the meal which was a big positive. Relative to the menu, it is a tad limited where the focus is in line with typical bar food which includes sliders, fries, onion rings, chili fries, hot dogs, chicken tenders .... etc. Overall I would liken this business as a sports bar that also sells limited food options at a very reasonable/value price. If you are not looking to drop a load a cash and want to watch the game where great food is not the priority than this place will definately fit your bill. If good food with an expanded menu is the priority that you should probably look elsewhere.

Choices are a bit limited where their entree's are an upscale burger/hotdog and mostly fusion style taco's like Bahn M Vietnamese chicken Taco's, 66 Birria Brisket Barebacoa taco's, Umami Bomb grilled tomato taco's, Baja fish taco's and Tempura fried Mahi tacos. Aside from the main entree's they also offer a selection of Tapas and salad selections For my first meal here I got their custom blend cheese burger that had caramelized onions, house made pickles, lettuce, tomato and a house sauce with fries. The burger was very tasty cooked to perfection with a medium doneness (no over cooking here unless you ask for it) where the sauce and pickles gave it a unique flavor profile that I liked. Fries were crunchy and nicely done as well. For my drink I ordered a house Margarita from their tequila inspired craft cocktail menu. The Margarita was very smooth and quite tasty and very reasonably priced at $10. MY only gripe with the drink is it was made with Reposadao tequila where my personal tastes trend towards a brighter Margarita and Blanco tequila. Having said that I could drink this Margarita all day long! Relative to staff and facility, the restaurant is definately on the rustic side where it could probably use an update on the ceramic floors and tables/chairs. It's not bad but it would add greater appeal if they invested a little more money on the interior in my opinion. Staff was super friendly and I enjoyed my conversation with my waitress who also served as the bartender. Overall the uniqueness of this menu and how good the taco menu looked will definately bring me back in the near future as I need to give those guys a try as well. If you are in the area and are a fan of well prepared food you should definately give these guys a look see

I had been meaning to try this business for quite some time and finally pulled the trigger. The…read moremenu for this restaurant falls along the lines of an expanded bar/Bistro menu with a heavy emphasis on sandwiches, wraps and burgers. Having heard good things about their Burgers I opted to go with their Classic Cheeseburger and fries for $15 and two of their house margarita's which were the drink of the day on Tuesdays for $5 apiece. Realtive to the burger, it was quite large at 1/2 lb and definately a two hander. It was well made, quite juicy, with fresh veggies and very very tasty. The fries were well made as well with a nice crunchy texture and quite tasty in their own right. Lastly my two Margarita's very well made and oh so good where I had only planned on getting one but opted for two after the first sip. NICE! At $5 a piece this was an absolute steal! Relative to facility and staff, the restaurant is visually very appealing with vibrant Irish accents, neon sign's everywhere and TV's scattered to allow you to watch the big game of the day while enjoying your meal. The decor defiantely adds a lot to the dining experience. Staff was very friendly with great follow up throughout. Overall this is a great bar/restaurant whose reputation is well deserved. I definately will be returning in the near future, probably on a Tuesday, so I can get some more of those tasty margarita's. :)
