Beautiful desserts, all made in house!

I was taking a class nearby at Project Heartbeat and needed something solid for my lunch break during a long day of classes and skills testing. This place recently opened and offers a huge menu - something for everyone! The employees were very welcoming and I loved the dinning area. They installed this incredible faux flower wall and it's pretty impressive and very relaxing to take in. I ordered a little bit of everything and enjoyed the chicken kabob, hummus and fresh veggies. I plan to keep this place in mind if I get to Oakland airport early and want some fresh and healthy food before traveling. Lots of safe parking and very easy to find. Thanks for the lovely lunch break!

We meet up with an old friend and the service was really good and friendly. It was next to the airport so convenient. They were open late and actually waited as we caught with an old friend. The pita was huge, both hummus' were excellent. The Baba Ghanouxh was so tasty as was the salad. Of course we had to have baklava that was not pictured, but hit the spot for that sweet tooth after dinner. We cast outside and closed the place down.

Worst Mediterranean food in Bay Area I would say ! Don't be cheated by the TikTok review. Mandi with rice from platter, over cooked dry lamb and the worst part was the gyro wrap - with store purchased flat bread made into wrap with frozen cooked gyros from Store as well. Think twice before visiting this place !!

This place was fantastic!! Don't let the eco oops he location deter you! Everything's was freshly prepared, tasted authentic and flavorful. The chef came out to say hello and he clearly took pride in preparing our food. This is the perfect hole in the wall spot!

We had ourselves an early dinner around 3 PM and he said the restaurant had just cleared out. Apparently they were packed for lunch!! I've never had a style of food before so I asked my boyfriend what I should order since he likes the style. He actually ordered me a chicken curry dish and himself another meat dish, but I can't remember what it was called. Both items as well as appetizer it was delicious! I should've taken a picture of the items we ordered for the appetizer since it was a three portion combo plate, but the pictures are below! Ambience was very relaxed and I really like how there was a half steps down into a little patio area so it seemed like you were almost underground, but you could see out. It was cute watching people walk their dogs and families ride their bike bikes. I will definitely want to come back here and get and buy more dishes!

The bola I had become soggy and the stuffing was spilling out - so hard to eat. - the chicken kabob was delicious - the filet mignon kabobs were tough and needed a knife - the kohbideh kabobs had disintegrated but were tasty - the Baba Ganoush portion seemed small for its price $12.50 - three tiny sauce containers for all this food, left us wanting! There was plenty of rice and bread. This was our first time order. Will try dining-in next time.

We started with the complimentary lentil soup, which was flavorful and comforting. I ordered the hummus and falafel. The hummus was light and delicious, and the falafel was the best I've ever had! It was fried to order and so crispy and hot that I've been thinking about it ever since. My family ordered the Greek salad, chicken pomegranate plate, and the berry mint lemonade, and we enjoyed all of it. We even found ourselves talking about my Lebanese grandmother, who passed away three years ago, and it was nice to feel brought together by the food. As a Disney nerd, I also love that WALL-E is named after Wally's! There's even a poster paying tribute to the film. My one drawback with this spot is the ambiance. While the staff was extremely friendly, there is very minimal seating, and it's attached to a bar. It's definitely loud and not the most family-friendly, so I would recommend ordering delivery or takeout. We actually ended up DoorDashing it for dinner the next day because it was that good! We will definitely be back!

We were then seated, the first girl asked if we wanted anything to drink which we did but we never got our drinks til another waitress came and asked us 20mins later. We told her we were ready to order and we had to wait another 10mins for another waiter to order. We got the chive/shallot yogurt, lollipop lamb chops, Koobideh and Joojeh Kabob. The kabeb dishes came with grilled tomato, grilled pepper, rice with tadig on top. They also make this pink butter to put on the rice. Food is good and everything was seasoned well and not over cooked. I want to give this place a try again but they need to work on their customer service. They catered more to other tables and we didn't even get offered the dessert menu like the other tables around us. Also, we had to ask for the check and no one even came to check if we were ready to pay we had to go up there.

This is a meat-forward menu in a serious way, and if you are vegetarian, this is probably not the place where you will feel especially catered to. For everyone else, the food is consistently excellent. The flavors are deep, well-spiced, and clearly cooked with care. Nothing feels rushed or careless. Everything we tried was good, but the lamb shank is on another level. Fall-apart tender, richly seasoned, and deeply satisfying in that slow-cooked way that makes you stop talking mid-bite. This is what the chef's kiss gesture exists for. Kamdesh is confident in its lane and does not try to be everything to everyone. If you love meat and bold, comforting flavors, you will be very happy here. If you do not, you should plan accordingly. Five stars for execution, especially that lamb shank.
