Food- skimpy and mediocre depending on if they're in a good mood or a bad mood. So anyway, yesterday was just awful and I'll never be back. Obviously I'd never recommend to anyone, unless you like civil abuse and overpriced, underserved, mediocre food and extremely rude employees coming off of their hangovers or head meds.

They come lightly seasoned with salt, but there is seasoned salt in the restaurant for you to get up and grab. You know you're in Salisbury when they have a dedicated pitcher for Cheerwine, just like tea and water. If you are coming with the church crowd or are stopping in for Saturday lunch, expect a wait. Even though they have a small parking lot, parking it generally not an issue. They also have a drive-thru if you prefer that instead.

Good Q,Good Slaw, baked beans and the hush puppies were spot on. My wife's sliced sandwich had a very good amount of meat and slaw ratio. I happily finished the last two bites she couldn't manage to finish. They didn't have any pork skins on our visit. The waitress told us she liked them too. We all, (5 of us), tucked in and there was not one thing we all didn't love. We ordered Hemmingway Chicken, (split for 2), Ropa Vieja, Cuban Sandwich and Vaca Frita de Lechon. All entrees and sides including the Moros were perfect. Finished with Traditional Flan and Coconut Flan and 4 espressos, (our tea drinking friend didn't understand our zeal). Flan's were literally some of the best I've ever had. Let me finish by saying I am a culinary-trained chef who's opened restaurants and have over 50 years of experience in the kitchen. This was such a surprise to find in Salisbury. Not throwing rocks at Salisbury. It just was a last-minute "Hey, what's in the neighborhood when I go to this theater." It turned out to be such a surprise. John was excellent at every level. Drinks were constantly full, and he was constantly asking us if we had any questions. Between the blue cheese and the ranch it was really creamy and most of the toppings slide off with the second bite. I don't mind a mess though! The ciabatta bread was the perfect compliment for the sandwich. It was a cute spot and I especially liked the creative sandwich names. I'd go back and try the chicken ceasar wrap next time.
