I tried to cancel my membership and miraculously the "internet" went down and told me to come back 45 minutes later however he just checked someone in a second before me and before I said I wanted to cancel asked which bed I wanted? Then I was clearly frustrated leaving walked out and he made a snark comment. It's evident he just didn't want me to cancel and to upgrade so he could make a sale of me, but the attitude and behavior from an employee on multipul occasions it's ridiculous. So, I have been a lifelong tanner and know how a good salon is run and how customers should be…read moretreated as well as the policies around lotion wear and eye protection. I can honestly handsdown say that this is by far THE WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE and poorly run salon that I have ever been to in my more than 20 years of tanning. Yesterday, I went in to tan and the previous week, I also went in on a Sunday and the two girls who were working that day are the rudest, most disgusting, racist and discriminatory girls I have ever met. Last Sunday, they refused to allow me to tan even though I came in on time before close and lied about their beds not working. Yesterday, it was the two same girls and one of them legit lied to my face and accosted me telling me I had to buy their expensive lotions and can only tan using their lotions. She then had the audacity to ask me if she could look inside my bag at my lotions. I knew in that instant she was lying to me and harassing me, making up policies to force me to buy their overpriced lotion. I have NEVER felt more disrespected, insulted and disgusted in my entire life. Or less than. And I am still fuming about it now. I confirmed that that is not their policy and the girl at this salon LIED TO MY FACE. She also lied about the intensity of the bed as I got zero color, and when I asked to wait to turn on the end she turned it on and the bed went off before my goggles were in place and now I have eye damage. It's really sad that the lack of customer service and the crew they hire mistreat their customers this way as I did like the salon before these girls worked here. Also, when you call their customer service line, it is all outsourced to some call center in the Philippines who don't know shit about the salons here and they don't do anything to resolve the issues. It's gotten so bad that I want to cancel my membership but I don't know what other salons are around here. But this store the girls who work here are discriminatory, disgusting, racist, condescending? Ignorant, and LIARS!! I'm so appalled. Have never been treated so poorly in my life esp not when I am there to unwind and relax. Gross!!!

Her kindness and willingness to help me really blew me away. I even gave her a hug because I appreciated her help so much. That is rare to find today! Back Story: I'm currently in town visiting my in-laws for the month. I have a membership with Palm Beach Tan, but I always visit different Palm Beach Tan locations throughout the U.S. whenever we're vacationing/traveling. When I do visit a new or different store ... the staff usually does not greet me with the same kindness and welcoming attitude in comparison to my home store. The staff usually has a hard time finding my membership in the system, and then they're quick to rush me into a bed in order to help the next person. Kaylie was so patient with me, and quickly found my membership (despite being new). She made me feel more than welcome, took me through the entire store to show me all of the tanning bed options, and even gave me some tips and tricks to get a better tan! Some of the suggestions she gave me really worked, and I've been using these tanning beds for years! Out of all the Palm Beach Tan locations that I've been to ... I can honestly say that Kaylie has been the most helpful and knowledgeable. It was a nice surprise to be greeted with such kindness. This location is lucky to have Kaylie!
