Salad was supposed to be large and was stuffed into a small bowl. I have been here before but will not return. With so many great places in Grapevine Palio's won't make it if they don't make some changes. My review seems to be inline with many others unfortunately. Ordered and paid for a large pizza through the phone, Went to pick it up. The man at the counter who barely spoke any English told me it was already picked up by someone else and that I had to pay again if I wanted a new one. I then had to argue with the customer who PICKED UP MY ORDER AND WAS WALKING OUT! Mind you he didn't speak any English either so it was another 15 minutes of convincing two people it was my order. Fountain drink machine in disrepair, so not a good start. Monday lunch... understaffed, but the service speed wasn't bad. We came here solely on the experiences we have had at the location on Blvd 26 in Colleyville. The restaurant is cleanish, ok decor. The patio is a little rundown. The last 3-4 times I have there, they messed something up. We have been customers for years and it is so disappointing to see it go downhill. Tonight, they forgot to make one of my items. They asked me to wait while they made it. No offer of a discount or even a drink or something while I wait. Basic customer service stuff...Then, after getting home with my order, my son discovers his chicken parm is just a piece of chicken in some greasy sauce. No pasta what so ever. Not from the area and I travel a lot for work so I use most of the apps to deliver or pickup my food after work most days... they had a buy one get one deal buy 20 wings for 18 bucks...‍. Should have know it was too good to be true. Asked for naked wings...nope. They look like and taste like wings they took out of a Tyson bag warmed them up in the microwave and threw them in sauce.... While I do love a good Palio's pizza, I do not like the inconsistencies between locations. Some have thick crust, some have thin. The menus are different. Some of the menu items have the same name, but are made different, etc. I really like the Palio's in Mansfield, I have come to find out. It's a little annoying going to a Palio's, having your favorite pizza in mind and then it's not on the menu. My favorite pizza is their fajita chicken pizza. This location does not have it. Today we ordered the Jalapeño popper (which is the pizza of the month) and the Scorcher. The pizza at this location has more of a thin, crunchy crust. The jalapeño popper had 4 cheeses bacon and of course jalapeños! It was pretty good, lots of flavor and very cheesy. As for the Scorcher, we had it in mansfield and loved it, so we expected it to be the same here. This was not the case. The Mansfield one has different toppings, which obviously makes it taste different. It was my fault for not comparing ingredients, but when they have the same name you assume it's the same thing! It was still good, but wouldn't get it again at this specific location. The bottom line is, if you find a particular Palio's location that you like, stick to only that location. OR check the menu to make sure they have what you want. Palio's is a great pizza place and has lots of variety, but I don't think I will be coming back to this location. read more

The pizza was good. Not OUTSTANDING, but good. We like thin crust pizza and there were lots of options for a reasonable price. Family friendly environment, indoor and outdoor seating, pleasant staff. The problem with the thin crust pizza of course is that it's not super filling and we'd need to order 20 of them in order to actually satiate our family of 8. But for just my husband and I, one small and medium pizza was sufficient and left us neither hungry nor overstuffed. For $27, we thought the value was good - ESPECIALLY when you consider the place is BYOB. Yep, that's right. Zero percent markup on the wine when you can bring it yourself! Palio's provides the glasses. We really enjoyed our Friday night at Palio's and won't hesitate to return. read more

Wow!! Some of our new Texas friends recommended Palio's so we decided to check it out on a Tuesday evening for dinner and were pleasantly surprised at how absolutely delicious their pizza is! I had the, "Grace" on cauliflower crust and my husband had their, "king" pizza on regular pan crust. Both were perfection! We also shared and loved the Greek salad. Their staff was very nice and brought our food out to us fairly quickly. It was my first time in a BYOB restaurant (I'm new to Texas) and was excited to see that they offer wine glasses to their customers to use. Best of all, their prices are very reasonable! We first discovered Palio's about 5 years ago when they offered a Groupon. The pizza was really good, but seemed a little far for us to get pizza. Since then I have been getting the lunch specials at the Palio's in North FW and they are always good. I have tried a full pizza from the Colleyville location and was disappointed. So we have been getting full sized pizzas from the humdrum chains just to fulfill our pizza appetites. I asked my toddler if be wanted to go out for pizza to celebrate an extremely special milestone of being cancer-free for 2 years and he said "yeah!" So we decided to come back here again after 5 years for a sit down pizza dinner. We ordered an XL pepperoni with extra cheese. It came quickly and super hot! The pizza was cut in squares! Party cut pizza is important to me because I'm from the Chicago area. The pizza was absolutely delicious. We demolished that whole pizza, my husband, myself, and our 2.5 year old. Our toddler gave us happy pizza-grease hand hugs between each bite! This was the best full sized pizza we have had in years! The best personal pizza continues to be their lunch special. So overall this is the best pizza restaurant serving slices with thin crust that is foldable, sauce that's not too sweet and not too spicy, and lots of fresh toppings. Rather than wasting our time on chain pizzas just to say we had pizza we will come here once a month to get a quality pizza. This might be my new chill spot. It's quiet. Relaxing place to finish my work. Their prices are amazing. $9.99 for chicken Alfredo. Normally places charge $9.99 for the fettuccine Alfredo, and then charge you $5 for a 6oz chicken breast. So let's talk about the Alfredo sauce. It's solid. Ordered 2 pizzas, 2 boxes of wings and some cheese bread for my family. Been going to this place for years, has been our go-to pizza joint for a while until this visit. Pizza was OK, cheese bread was good, no problems there. The two boxes of buffalo wings we had ordered however, came without buffalo sauce. They were naked wings. A little disappointing to see the wrong item in the box, but we accepted it and just decided to call the store for a potential refund/discount because mistakes happen. Long story short my mother called in twice (maybe three?) times to see what they could do, because we paid 20 dollars for some wings we didn't eat. (we're usually not picky- but these were 1. The wrong item- plain, bland chicken wings 2. Soggy and honestly just gross so nobody ate them) You'd think that maybe they'd act with professionalism and address the problem correctly and at least ACKNOWLEDGE their mistake, but when my mother called to follow-up the next day to discuss the issue she was told that buffalo sauce was indeed put on the wings and that they had it on video. Now, I'm not sure if they put sauce on some different order and just mixed up the boxes or something but we literally received what is pictured below. (The orange stuff is oil) From what I've heard the manager my mother was speaking with also somehow implied that my mother was a liar when she kept insisting that we didn't receive what we ordered, and when my mother told her she could bring the box of wings in to prove that there was no buffalo on the wings the call was immediately disconnected. It seems ridiculous to cause this much ruckus over chicken wings but they were pretty pricey and we ordered not one, but two boxes of them. Nobody wants to waste money, especially 20 dollars that we could've spent on another pizza or maybe even going to an entirely different restaurant that would have never put us in this situation. It sucks that this happened because we liked this place, but they've lost our business because of this. P.S. -- they were completely empty on the *Friday night* we went to pick up our food. Don't wanna assume anything but it looks like they're not as busy as they used to be and have lost customers. Maybe the s**tty service is the reason why. I stayed at the Great Wolf lodge this weekend and decide to give this place a try. I ordered a Xl large Pizza, chicken fettuccine, Hot Wings, Greek salad and a 2 liter Sprite. They told me it would be 45mins to 1hr wait and I was fine with that. The delivery guy here at 1hr and 15mins, I received a call to my room because they wrote the wrong number when I gave it to them at the time of ordering. The first thing is notice is they brought me a 2 liter Coke instead of a Sprite, deliver guy just said sorry I can run back and get the sprite but he doesn't know how long that would take. I just took the Coke because me kids and Wife was hungry from playing in the water all day. One opened up the food the pizza was very cold like it had been made over and hour ago, the chicken fettuccine was very dry there was little to no sauce on it and they did not put any utensils, parmesan cheese, red peppers in the bag per my request when placing my order. The food looked good on yelp but it was garbage. I called them to advise my concerns on my order and was told the Manager is out delivering Pizzas and i will have her call you when she gets back. Stopped in for a quick dine in pizza dinner with the fam about a month ago and we all enjoyed it! The kids shared a large pepperoni pizza and my husband and I shared a large mediteranean pizza (I'm almost positive I'm recalling the right name) + jalapenos. It was very good. I loved the thin crust. Tasted fresh and good flavor! Definitely rivaled Grimaldis and a bit more affordable I think. Another plus is that Starbucks is next door, so we grabbed a few coffees to enjoy with our dinner. Service was fast and friendly. Lots of families were there enjoying their meals. Grapevine Palio's. I honestly feel so disappointed in myself for eating out here. Like it's date night and we're supposed to do something for us. But this was sad. My baked ziti was awful. My husband was like it can't be that bad and tried a bite and spit it out. It was black on top. The bread was really soggy. The salad looked delicious but they gave me blue cheese instead of ranch and I'm highly allergic. I almost ate it but I could smell and looked at the package. As for the service, the guy was so rude on the phone. I mean so rude. I was asking a question and he said next. Then next again instead of answering. Holy Toledo, what a dump. Besides unbelievably mediocre food, this place is disgusting. Attached are photographs of our booth. What you won't see is the fact that the cushions feel like they have been here for 25 years without being resurfaced. Or perhaps it's just that excessively corpulent people sit here and break the cushions.
