Maybe it's the whole automation thing but felt the churros were very forgettable. They were a hard overly sugary mess. The dulce de leche wasn't even that tasty. In the end, I decided the taste wasn't worth the wait to make it nor the caloric intake, I placed it unfinished in the bin. It was really disappointing I really wanted to like this place. When all you do is one thing you should do it right. This place doesn't come close. I would think you might be better off nuking something found at Shop Rite would be better.

Before she answered, another employee yelled from across the truck, "I have it right here. Wait your turn," while he was ringing up someone else. I apologized and said I thought I could ask her since she wasn't helping anyone. She then muttered, "You don't have to be fucking rude." When she realized I heard her, she immediately ducked back into the truck. The entire interaction was incredibly unprofessional. Then I was charged $10 for an item clearly posted as $7. I was told the extra $3 was "tax," which simply isn't possible. We even have video showing the posted price and confirming what other customers paid. I chose not to argue because I was there with my toddler and didn't want to ruin our family outing. Everyone can have an off day, but there is no excuse for swearing at customers, treating people with disrespect, or charging more than the posted price. What should have been a fun stop for ice cream ended up being one of the worst customer service experiences I've had.

The bitterness of the chocolate stood out, even though the piece had a lot of sugar. On the other hand the Lindas fudge cake tasted like all sugar. After two fork full's I stopped eating it. There were a couple of comments at the table that the tiramisu cheesecake was good, though I didn't try it.

The other reviews are dead on, as far as coffee and pastries go. Their coffee poos on Starbucks and DD. The pastries are probably the best I've ever had. My wife and I have been here twice, both times the lattes and food have been consistently great. I can't speak for any lunch items, though, we have stopped here strictly as a random stop on the way to a likely crappy work day. So far we've tried plain donuts, which are dense but authentic and damn good. The lobster tail is amazing, there's probably still some on my face as I write this review (which could be awkward if someone comes into my office). The coffee, as I said, is really good as well. The inside is bright white, extremely clean, yet modern cozy... feels like a nice little cafe with a long glass case full of pastries when you walk in. I've never been to Italy, but Palazzone sure makes me want to go there. Even though it may be tricky to get to for some people, depending on where you're coming from, it's worth the trip. read more

My only gripe is that they are closed on Mondays! This place has perhaps some of the best pastries in town. I especially love their lobster claws. My only complaint about them is that a few times I went to buy some they were sold out! You must go early in the day to get your favorite pastries because they tend to get sold out. I love their hot chocolate, it's very dark and is perhaps my favorite from among any restaurant. read more

The best pastries and coffee around. Ive been coming here almost every week for three years. Their food is authentic. The owners and many of the staff are from Italy and there is a big Italian community of regulars. The daily specials are incredible, as well as the regular menu. We decided on the Strawberry, Banana, and Nutella Crêpe and Brownie Fudge Waffle. The food was exceptional, far superior to any other place we've tried in a long time. The attention to detail in presentation and taste elevates the experience. Seating is limited on a few tables. Price was reasonable, and the service was friendly and quick.
