This place is amazing. After calling around to other palapa companies I was very happy to find Robert with palapa guy. Very knowledgable and has been in biz for like 20 years. We scheduled a day and they actually came on time. They built the palapa right there into my pre-existing bbq station, used extremely sturdy materials and were cleaned up and gone in about 2 hours. Would recommend this company to anyone looking for an awesome way to get some shade. My backyard is now complete! read more

I was debating what to put in my backyard. I wanted to make my backyard more tropical. He showed me a wide variety of options to choose as the thatch. His price was very fair for the quality of work done, and his quality of work is quite exceptional. My palapa was custom because of how close my balcony was to BBQ. He made it look absolutely wonderful! I would absolutely recommend him again! read more

Eddie was awesome. Had an 11' single pole palapa with artificial thatch installed right by the pool. Looks awesome . Palapa looks like it's out of a tropical magazine . High quality wood and stain with it matted for perfection. Couldn't be happier . Eddie even built it around (and cut open to fit ) my metal table for no charge . 100 percent recommend to anyone read more

Best Palapa builder ever! On time, finished in 1 day, very reasonable pricing. Always answered call. Highly recommend.

I can't say enough about what an incredible job Eddie and his crew did designing and installing our beautiful palapa!! We had an odd shaped outdoor kitchen that was in desperate need of a roof. Eddie showed up, we walked through some ideas we each had, and then said "go" ... It was amazing to watch how fast and easy these guys worked. They were clean and courteous and got the job done in 2 days!! I will admit I was a little nervous about Eddie's laid back attitude and concerned about them drilling into our new concrete slab and counters, but in the end it was all for naught, these guys are professionals and this is definitely an art! We are even planning to have a second smaller palapa built on the other side of the yard at some point and Eddie will be our only call! read more

I highly recommend using Eddie and his team. My husband just surprised me with a palapa in our backyard. I love it. The workmanship and quality of materials used is beyond my expectations. Eddie and his crew are efficient, clean, and go the extra mile. Not only did he install the palapa, but he also took care of adding those little details that make everything stand out even more. He made sure the trees, retaining wall, and decorative touches such as lights and fan were precisely where they should be! I don't have enough words to express how satisfied I am with the final product. Thank you, thank you Mr Palapa guy!!!! read more

I was looking to replace an old, dilapidated palapa that I had in my back yard. I called several business and these guys came recommended from the owners at Backyard X-Scapes. Their price was competitive and they were knowledgeable about the process. They came out within a couple days and built a new Palapa (single pole) in 5 hours. They did all the cutting on-site and cleaned up afterwards quite thoroughly. I went with the African thatch option which, while a bit pricey, looks really nice. They even corrected the lean in my existing pole. Highly recommended. read more

Our research for a palapa lead us to Eddie and The Palapa Guy. We had an old structure in our back yard and through Eddie's creative thinking and vast knowledge of his business of building palapas, we now have an authentic looking palapa. What used to be an eyesore of an old lattice work structure is now a cool and appealing palapa that has character and a positive topic of conversation when entertaining guests.
