I ended up selecting a Duralum cover that his company also offers, and I'm glad I did. It's just the look I was going for. I was also impressed with Adam's business model, which is built on quality and efficiency at a very reasonable price without cutting corners or sacrificing customer service. Now for the best part: A guy named Brody, his lead installer. In addition to being a super nice guy, his work is meticulous. The back of my home isn't linear, so there are bump-outs and protrusions, making the installation more difficult and time consuming. This wasn't the slightest challenge for Brody and his team. The finished product is snuggled tightly against my stucco and professionally sealed on the roof to prevent any water dripping through when it rains. I watched him work, measuring and cutting the aluminum to match my home so the fit and finish is far greater than I imagined. As you can tell from the photos, I still have work to do (concrete coating, fence repairs, etc.) to match the beauty of my new cover.

Would have been one day but they had to remove my old leaking patio otherwise it would have been one day job. 40 ft × 11 ft are dimensions for new patio which adds significant amount of usable patio space for us. When it came time to reroof again we opted to go with Alumawood. We contacted several contractors and told them what we wanted. We were told it could not be done by all of them except one. We originally had 4 pillar supports on a 29ft patio cover that was about 8 ft high. It covered our patio but we also wanted to include the BBQ Island. The BBQ Island is right outside of my sunroom where I have all of my plants. We wanted to get some sort of louver system over the BBQ island so my plants could still see the sun during the day, and we wanted it all to match so it looked like one fluid cover. We also wanted as few pillars as possible. Scott from SAE builders came in listened to and actually heard what we wanted. He then developed a blueprint for an amazing work of art that included everything we wanted plus lights throughout, a ceiling fan with lights and an infrared heater in the seating area. The louvers are an Equinox system that works on a remote control or wall switch. He engineered all of this to be supported on 2 giant pillars, did I say amazing. We are so in love with the whole thing! Scott is wonderful, easy to talk to, listens and tells you the truth instead of trying to sell you something that you just have to settle for. After getting a few estimates via Yelp and a few false starts, we went with Pro Installation. Of the businesses we thoroughly reviewed on Yelp, Pro Installation had the most variety of finishes (both, aluminum and insulated covers) that appealed to what our aims were for the yard. Plus, they had the best color choices, too! Now Pro Installation is a busy bunch. Their lead time was two and a half months, but again, they had selection and color, which sealed the deal for us. Plus, they're a local business we could support! Our sales person came out, in person to show us our choices. He called three days before our appointment to let us know when the installers would be coming. Both Benjamin and Juan arrived on time, cleaned up after themselves and helped move our furniture back into place. Nice. "That's a Bingo!"
