A lot of places either don't have experience treating pregnant women or are super limited in what they'll actually do, which can be really frustrating, even with my OB's approval. I was going to another PT place before this and honestly felt kind of hopeless. They weren't very personable or confident, and I felt like they were too scared to touch me, like I just had to wait until after I gave birth to get real help. I knew I was capable of doing more and wasn't improving at all, it was starting to take a toll on my mental health. Deciding to switch to Impact was the best move I could've made. The care here is night and day. You actually work with physical therapists one-on-one, not just techs, and everyone is super friendly, professional, and knows what they're doing. They offer a bunch of holistic treatment options like cupping, massage, dry needling, stretching, and strength work. I was fortunate to schedule 7 visits to feel comfortable enough to make a 3 day drive back to Oregon. I've been to several therapists in the past . One for tearing my hamstring. Several others for back issues. By far, True Care has been the all around best. Raymond Popp the owner ( Ray), showed me right from the start that he wasn't the typical therapist who would just show how to do the exercise and walk away without any engagement. Ray would also do extremity manipulation on my legs when they were sore or tight. I haven't had a therapist show me that kind of care and knowledge about their craft. The staff was great too. The very first visit Laurie throughly assessed my knee by moving, massaging, measuring, etc. Things my other therapist never addressed/did. Let's put it this way, my knee had a lot going wrong. In 2 weeks they got my ROM from 112 to 127. I'm 5 weeks in with them & I'm stable at 130-132. Better than my 1st TKR. I've been seeing Natasha for Pelvic Floor Therapy and it has been AMAZING! I was referred by my OB…read moreafter my 2nd child and was having issues with leakage, back pain and abdominal discomfort. I was really nervous at first, but Natasha did a great job of explaining what she was doing and what was going on with my pelvic floor and bones/muscles. I've learned SO MUCH and the therapy has helped immensely! I'm no longer having leakage issues and my back pain is much less frequent and abdominal pain is gone. I'm also a runner and I love that Natasha caters my exercises to build strength in areas I use for running. Beyond just Natasha the entire office is so welcoming and friendly. It's a very relaxed atmosphere and everyone has been so great to work with! I also love that this office includes a Pilates studio and classes! So I'm getting exposed to different Pilates equipment at each session. I'm excited to try out some classes when my PT sessions are done. 10/10 highly recommend!
