First I am a firm believer in physical therapy. Therapist can provide a road for you to return to…read morefull mobility but most the work will by done by you. I have had dis-located ankles, knee surgery, frozen shoulder and he last torn rotor cuff along with some bone shaving. The shoulder has been the hardest to return to health as it has been bad for more than 10 years. I started therapy with Courtney at this location on Bell Rd. with a sling and no movement for the shoulder at all. Now after just over 3 months I am pain free the first time in years. If your committed to recovery and will commit to the time I whole hardheartedly recommend Courtney Baxter at this location. I don't want to leave out Jose but Courtney has been the one working at returning my shoulder to health for the last few months. NO PAIN now and looking forward to a renewed golf game with a good shoulder. Thank you Courtney J Jeffrey

Extremely disappointed with ATI Physical Therapy and their billing practices…read more Before I even scheduled my first appointment, I specifically asked them to verify my insurance and tell me exactly what my cost would be per visit. I was told it would be approximately $60. I intentionally waited several days for them to verify my insurance information before moving forward because I wanted to know the cost upfront. At my first visit, I was charged $65. It was $5 more than quoted, but I didn't make an issue of it. Now, approximately 25 days later, ATI is trying to charge me an ADDITIONAL $95 for that same visit. That brings the total cost of ONE physical therapy visit to $160. When I called customer service, I was told the original $65 was supposedly only a "deposit." That was NEVER explained to me. Had I been told that $65 was simply a deposit and that I could later be billed another $95, I would have never agreed to the appointment. What makes this especially frustrating is that I specifically asked for the cost BEFORE scheduling and gave them time to verify everything with my insurance. Their customer service experience only made the situation worse. Patients deserve transparency about what they are agreeing to pay. Quoting someone around $60, collecting $65 at the appointment, and then nearly a month later billing another $95 is completely unacceptable to me. I would absolutely NOT recommend ATI Physical Therapy based on my experience. If you decide to use them, I strongly recommend getting your expected TOTAL cost in writing before receiving any services.

I have debated for awhile whether to write a reviewas I was seen there over a year ago. I was seen…read morefor low back pain and had received a Cortisone shot prior to starting. I liked working with my physcial therapist. She seemed knowledgable; however, though the exercises were good, they didn't really help with my back pain. When my sessions ended, my PT asked me to go back and change answers on my questionnaires to indicate that the PT helped. As a medical person myself, I felt uncomfortable going back and changing answers. The other was that though most of the assistants were good, some of them seemed to spend too much time fooling around, and I would have to call to them to find out what the next exercise was.

Yelp reviews quickly led me to select the Foothiils PT location on Grand Ave in Surprise, where I underwent therapy six times during my two week stay. The entire team is impressive - knowledgable, professional, friendly and caring. They have a hands-on approach that I needed and the location has a wide range of equipment to aide in recovery. I highly recommend this location for anyone seeking an excellent PT team! A special shoutout to my main therapist Josh, and the owner Jim, who introduced me to instrument assisted soft tissue manipulation (IASTM) and cupping)!!!
