Impact Physical Therapy has been amazing so far. I was in an accident that left me with several injuries, and being in my third trimester of pregnancy has made getting treatment extra tricky. A lot of places either don't have experience treating pregnant women or are super limited in what they'll actually do, which can be really frustrating, even with my OB's approval. I was going to another PT place before this and honestly felt kind of hopeless. They weren't very personable or confident, and I felt like they were too scared to touch me, like I just had to wait until after I gave birth to get real help. I knew I was capable of doing more and wasn't improving at all, it was starting to take a toll on my mental health. Deciding to switch to Impact was the best move I could've made. The care here is night and day. You actually work with physical therapists one-on-one, not just techs, and everyone is super friendly, professional, and knows what they're doing. They offer a bunch of holistic treatment options like cupping, massage, dry needling, stretching, and strength work. I've only been going a little over a week, and already I feel so much more hopeful. I'm willing to do the work, I just needed the right guidance, and they've absolutely given me that. They don't treat me like I'm fragile or extremely limited just because I'm pregnant, and that means so much. I had been attending another PT place with no improvement, I was still in great pain, week after week, I left each session in great pain and depressed. I then began attending Impact PT and it has been the best decision ever. After just three days at Impact, there was an overall improvement in my mobility. I began with a walker, then a cane, and now walking without a cane. The whole staff has a great working relationship with one another and with each patient there. Drs Matt and Nick have worked with me in great detail, assessing my needs, addressing the pain, using means to assist my mobility, strength, and most of all: the faith in me to continue to progress as they encouraged and challenged me when I was ready. I injured my back within a month of an important marathon I was also training for, to say I was scared was an understatement. My trainer referred me to Impact for evaluation and treatment. I was able to get an appointment that same week and noticed a significant improvement in my range of motion and pain just at the end of the appointment. I was sent home with a list of stretches (that we performed during the appointment as well) and interventions. I came for a few more visits to ensure things were correcting and healing appropriately. I was able to run my marathon without any issues and even went back today for just some additional stretching, mobility, IT band work etc. I appreciate the therapies completed, the extensive knowledge and teaching regarding exercises I can complete at home to help make me stronger. I will be coming here from now on for maintenance during training blocks. I always feel better when I walk out the door than when I walked in. read more

Impact Physical Therapy is recommended highly for your medical rehab, injuries, etc. I have been using Impact Physical Therapy for various injuries for quite some time. My most recent issue was shoulder rehab, post-surgery. For a step above most physical therapy clinics, I recommend Impact. Each person there is a doctor of therapy. They have no techs to send you off to after intake. The doctors there pay very close attention to your issues and work with you on site and also are very motivating to continue improvement at home. The facility is clean, the front office staff is amazing, and the therapists are very friendly and knowledgeable. All of the therapists are well-trained and well-qualified to get you back on track. I found Impact Physical Therapy by accident. I was having severe right neck and shoulder pain and my regular physical therapy office, Foothills Sports Medicine and Therapy, was having issues with their computer system and couldn't get me in, so I was so relieved that Impact Physical Therapy could squeeze me in last minute. When I scheduled the appointment, they were absolutely clear that it was a pay for service type place (thankfully not dictated by bossy insurance companies), so it really worked out for me since I just used my HSA account. They explained that my physical therapist would be with me the entire hour! This was all new to me, since I was used to spending 20 mins with the PT and the rest of the time with 2-3 assistants running through exercises. My PT, Dr. Tricia O'Driscoll, was wonderful! Because she spent the whole hour with me, she really listened and had the chance to do tests and figure out my problems. I couldn't turn my neck left or raise it up. Plus, my shoulder was in so much pain that it made it hard to work and I'm a hygienist so I rely on my arms and hands. It was also an emergency to get healed because 3 days after seeing her, my husband and I were going rock climbing in Canada so I needed to be able to use my shoulders and turn my head around. Tricia did deep tissue massage, dry needling, and cupping. It really helped so much! It was enough for me to enjoy our Canada trip, and I returned after to continue therapy with her so I could continue to improve. I'm happy to say I'm back 100% now, and have no switched the focus of therapy to my long time running left knee issue. We've been working towards strengthening my gluteus muscles and my adductors/abductors so that the knees don't have to work so hard. After over a month and a half of going here every other Friday, I've gotten to really know Tricia and meet the rest of the staff and everyone is so friendly and helpful! I just can't say enough how much I loved my time as a patient at Impact Physical Therapy. From my initial exam with Dr. Malone to my last visit with Dr Bott. I've had repeated ankle sprains throughout my life that never realized didn't healed correctly, with this last one I was really worried. My therapy with Dr. Bott and Maddy brought me back to 100%. Had a knee injury from falling in pool(yes embarrassing and freezing cold water), and after about a week was still in a lot of pain and was concerned about potential tears in ligament/cartilage. Found Impact PT through Yelp. Very good experience start to finish. Got in touch with me one day after I asked to be scheduled and I was seen the next day. Less than 30 minutes I came out with a thorough evaluation of my knee and recommended treatment. Peace of mind that no extensive damage requiring costly MRI or X-ray and I should be back to normal within a week or two. It was a FREE consultation by the way. From start to finish, the atmosphere is clean with a beautiful office and a kind, patient receptionist. The staff is amazing! Even those not helping me with my appointment took the time to greet me. Now the Doctor: (First name basis with patients) Eric went above and beyond in working with me through my back and knee injury. He spoke to me about my concerns like I was a friend. He has a very caring bedside manner when giving specific instructions for rehabilitation and working through some very painful movements with me. He was respectful, patient, and incredibly knowledgeable. He took it one step further and was willing to educate me rather than just work on me and get me out the door. The icing on the cake was the follow-up. How many doctors do you know that actually personally follow up anymore?! When he followed up, he took the time to give me extra exercises and stretches I could do at home, which has been a total timesaver. Eric has also worked with my son for over 2 years on and off My son Braiden has had patellar tendinitis and it's a constant battle with him growing and playing volleyball everyday. So I waited a few treatments to write my review, honestly if you're not going here for your physical therapy you are waisting your time and money! Dr. Eric did wonders for my legs I was having a lot of trouble running and my legs would go numb. After the first treatment I was back to 80%, I couldn't believe it. I was running and having very minimal pain and numbness. I did two more treatments and I was as close to 100% as you can get. Sarah Somers is the best PT I have ever worked with. She spends as much time as needed with me. She makes sure to set aside appropriate amount of time to work on me and there are no interruptions. I was tempted to write a review after my first couple of visits, but I decided to wait so I could be as thorough as possible. My podiatrist referred me to physical therapy to treat a bad case of plantar fasciiitis. I had had a couple of cortisone shots, done a lot of stretching on my own, tried OTC orthotics...nothing worked. I tried making an appointment at the PT my doctor recommended, but they never returned my call. So then I turned to Google and Yelp. Even though they don't accept insurance, their reviews were so good that I decide to try them anyhow. This was far and away the best decision I ever made. It's taken some time, and I haven't always enjoyed the treatment, but the pain in my heel is almost gone. Even better, they've been working on my ankle and calf, which I injured more than 20 years ago. I had given up on my ankle every having any motion in it, and I just accepted that my calf was always going to be super-tight. I was wrong. I'm close to having full range of motion back in my ankle, and my calf is so much better. I'm not 100%, but I'm so much better. I can't say enough good things about Dr. Sarah and Dr. Uche, and the whole staff, really. They are always pleasant, they listen to what you are feeling, and they explain why they are doing what they are doing. Neither of those has generally been part of my experience with health care providers. They've challenged me, and pushed me beyond what I though I could do with my foot and leg, and I surprised myself. The only con to this practice is that they don't handle insurance, and they are out-of-network for all providers. But it is worth the effort to file claims, etc., for the kind of care and treatment you get. The other provider not calling me back was the best thing that could have happened to me. read more

Before Eric, I truly didn't believe in physical therapy. I would go as I was told and my symptoms would always return shortly after I stopped therapy. I have been going to Impact PT for a few years on and off. I will NEVER go to another clinic, and am a true believer of the practice this clinic believes in. The therapist is with you the whole time and guides you, massages and cups/dry needles if necessary. INCREDIBLE EXPERIENCE! I visited Dec 2016 -Jan 2017 following a Distal Bicep Repair. After a slow and not responsive experience at my Surgeon's in-house PT, I was recommended to Impact Physical Therapy by a family member. I went to a Monday Open Clinic to check it out without commitment. To my surprise, I found the Staff at Impact to be very interested in "what I wanted to get out of the experience". They listened and assessed my initial level of performance and concerns, along with my desire to get back into Obstacle Course Racing as my ultimate goal. Impact offered a package that was streamlined to fit my timetable and budget, which mixed massage, cupping and needling therapy... with a mobility & strength training. The workout program included a circuit type regimen that I eventually was able to perform during my appointment and also do at my home gym. I found to be the best part as it allowed them to instruct my form and evaluate my progress in order to adjust and increase the program. Diana (the student PTA) worked with Dr Eric Hefferon to provide a top of the line patient experience.
