I've been to many UPS, USPS, and other mailing stores, and I have to say the service I've received is very high quality when compared to others. I typically mail things media mail, and when I walk in I'm usually served instantly if not within a minute. I also like the 24 hour box access. Most of the time I bring in my stuff prepackaged and labeled, and they take care of it for me. When I go to FedEx they make me fill out all these silly forms. In the times when I require PakMail to package it for me, the rates are reasonable and they take care of it very quickly. This is truly a different level of service then your typical UPS or Fedex store. read more

The only reason for shipping anything through an overpriced establishment such as this one is for convenience and customer service, which until recently was the reason I went there so often. I've lived right around the corner for years and frequently ship packages from this place, probably a couple times a month. They've provided good customer service, despite their prices. Today I went in to drop off a UPS package for pickup. I had a shipping label from UPS with instructions to have the store print it up. I've done this a few other times here, and as a UPS pickup/dropoff location, they've never given me a problem with this--I forward the email to them and they print it for me. Well, today they told me it would be a $2 "tech fee" for them to accept my email, and and additional 25 cents to print it. I understand a small nominal printing fee if you really want to be Extra, but a $2 fee for me to send them an email?!? They have no problem spamming my email with their promotional ads. I figured it was maybe a new employee, so I asked for a manager. The owner, Joel, came out and confirmed it was a $2 fee and always has been, because "sometimes people send emails with viruses." No, that's not how the internet works. I said that was ridiculous, and they've accepted my emails and printed the shipping labels many times in the past, and I'm a regular customer. Then he yelled, "you've never been here...I've never seen you in my life!" And he proceeded to yell at me and say, "I don't make a penny off of these pickups, not one penny!" There was absolutely no one in the store, and they weren't doing anything, so it wasn't like it was taking up their time. Well, a $2.25 fee to print up an email from UPS is insulting, and yelling at me because you're not making money off this particular transaction tells me that maybe you shouldn't be a UPS pickup location. Clearly their business is struggling, and their answer to that is to nickel and dime their customers, and act like outright jerks. I will never patronize this business again. It's worth the drive across the street to go to the UPS store if you need to pay to ship something, and the local post office on Lake Creek is honestly exceptional. I hope that the owner's greed in asking for $2.25 to email a label was well-worth losing all my future business, and getting reported to UPS. Furthermore, expect an invoice from me for $2 per email that you spam my inbox with. read more

I have been to this location several times. I can mail packages to my mom in SEOUL, KOREA with them instead of waiting in those long lines at the post office. Rates are awesome and very reasonable. They have even helped me out by looking for smaller boxes to get better rates on my packages. Always helpful, always going beyond expectation. This is where I always go for my mailing needs and I highly recommend everyone to go there too! read more

Joel at Pak Mail has given me the best service I have ever had. Before I found him I must have called 8 or 10 freight companies only to find extremely high prices and horrible customer service. He gave me the best price and made the process easy. He followed up and helped me until the end even though the shipment got delayed several weeks due to the 3rd party not releasing it in time. He even made the necessary phone calls to get the shipment moving faster. I went to the store with the intentions of only purchasing a box for my item and then going to USPS to mail from there. Upon entering the store I noticed signs that said they shipped for USPS, FedEx etc. So I figured that it would be easier to just ship from there instead of driving all the way to the post office. So the man takes all my info and then tells me that it will be a whopping $130 to ship. Since I had already done my research online and had concluded that it was the cheapest to ship from USPS only about $20-$30, I knew that that was outrageous. I told him that I could not afford that and would just like to ship using USPS, and he went on to tell me that USPS would cost way more to ship because even though my item did not weigh much it was large and it would take up more room on the truck and thus the post office would consider my item to weigh 46 lbs. which would cost me more in shipping and also his packaging price was at least $30 for it. I told the man that I would just like to buy a box instead for my item so I could take it and ship it myself at the post office. He then (now with attitude) punched harshly the register keys to ring me up for a box. He then rudely told me that it would be $12.98 WOW! $12.98 for a freaking box! I went ahead and purchased it just to get out of the store as fast as I could. After leaving the store I felt a lot of remorse for purchasing a $13 box when I could go to the grocery store and get one for free. I went to the post office to ship my item and they do go by weight not by size and it only cost me $31.58 and that includes $2.60 or insurance. I don't normally write reviews but I feel like I need to because this guy is ripping people off. People try to make a little bit of money just to get by and he takes it. I would not refer this place to my worst enemy, do not go to this place!!! read more
