Oh the irony! They lost the package they told me to just drop off! Now they say they can't help me unless I have a tracking number, which is what they give you if you wait in the long line, but what you don't get if you follow their instructions and just drop it off and leave. DON'T trust them with your package! If you risk it, wait in the long line and get a tracking number because if you don't, Ivan will rudely tell you you're out of luck. read more

Though this location couldn't help me by letting me drop off the box, they were super patient and researched the situation before accepting the package. Don't trust what these guys say about the expected delivery dates no matter how much assurance they give you. I was charged over $35 to ship a package to Florida for 2-day delivery and it took over 3 days. My wife had a similar experience with them - they charged her much more than others. read more

I don't like leaving bad reviews. But when you go somewhere for a service and the employee is playing a game on their phone the entire time they're helping you, I find it to be really rude. It felt like he couldn't care less if I was there at all which made me feel bad. read more

The owner allowed me to meet the UPS driver's deadline even though they were already closed, and also hooked me up with materials that I didn't have. I repeatedly tried to pay him, and he wouldn't accept since he was trying to hurry up and get my package on the truck. 5 star service, and I'm going to bring cash next time to pay him back for this time! :-) read more

This place wants to charge you $3 to print a return label for companies who already pay and contract their return shipping services. All other UPS stores I've been in don't do that. So you wait in a huge line and put up with rude employees, they don't tell you until you go through all the steps, and they assume you'll just pay it because you've already gone through the hassle. I'm not paying three dollars out of principle, and if your business depends on charging customers $3 to print a piece of paper the company is paying shipping for, you need to rethink your business model. I understand maybe a small 50 cent fee to offset the cost of ink, but for $3 you're just greedy and you think the customer is stupid. read more

I have recently moved to this area and have used this store several times for different things and it is so far beyond other UPS stores I have used before! Every time I go in they are so willing to help and knowledgeable on any shipping questions I have. I will now keep all my packages so I can stop at this store instead of the one by my work. Hands down the best UPS store in Austin. The staff is helpful, courteous, and professional. If they see me bringing in boxes, they'll hold the door or come out and help unload. I took a private box because my residential "cluster mailbox / parcel locker" experience wasn't adequate, and many stores won't ship to a regular PO Box. UPS notifies me by email/text of any package bigger than my box. Pickup hours are 9-7 M-F and 9-5 on Sat. Packages are held until pickup. You can pick up letters - or small packages that fit in your box - 24 / 7. Sometimes I call ahead to check before making a trip. Even if a sender messes up my box number, they figure it out. And they don't stuff junk circulars. I rarely send packages, but when I do, they help find the cheapest carrier. Materials are a little expensive here; you might want to reuse / recycle your own. Shout-out to Pat, who is the most professional, helpful person ever. His customer service, product knowledge, and work ethic are outstanding. He really "makes" the store! read more

Ive been to this location 4 times now and i've never had a bad experience. Everytime I go in, the staff is quick and knowledgeable about whatever tasks i need, whether it is notary, fax, or shipping. I'm not sure of the managers name, but she is great. I've never heard a single complaint or groan when I walked in very close to closing(sorry guys!). They were just as helpful then as usual. read more

I believe the management of this store has changed and I will find another UPS store. I believe I was overcharged and service was misrepresented. I am an avid online shopper and receive and ship all the time. So, paying $14 to ship a box (ground) that did not even weigh two ounces seemed a bit odd. Also, I indicated that there was no rush on the shipping (cheapest price) but my recipient advised me that it arrived in 2 days. That explains the higher price. I'd love to believe that UPS did me a favor, but that price was just too high for my small, weightless box. I won't be returning here. read more

I love this UPS store ... I come here frequently and every experience has been a good experience. The folks at the store are extremely friendly and I trust them (I ship a lot of stuff that I sell through eBay including playstation's etc... that I simply "drop off" with the destination) and they always package it correctly and ship it off to their destination. Literally the most hassle free experience one could imagine. read more

I sent two small packages last month and only one of them arrived. I called the store for help today and the man that answered was extremely rude. Throughout the conversation he interrupted me every time I tried talk or ask a question. Turns out UPS let someone sign and take the package that was not even the listed mail recipient according to their computer! When I expressed my displease to this the gentleman told me that they're not UPS they're just a franchise so it wasn't his fault. REALLY? You have UPS on the front of your establishment! Whether you are a franchise or not you should provide the service a customer pays for period. If you fail doing that, a company that CARES about customer service would simply apologize and attempt to fix the problem. Not argue with the customer and say it's not your fault because they're a "franchise". I guess the lesson here is do not use any UPS "franchises" they won't take any responsibility when things go wrong. read more

I was so impressed with how helpful and friendly the staff was (especially compared to USPS)! It is Christmastime and I was in and out in a few minutes! One of the workers made a box for me that fit my package *exactly* which saved me money. In addition, I've seen the same employees there for the past couple of years, which I think speaks to how the store is managed. read more

I've been here a few times and I've always been helped by the same unfriendly associate (he must be the owner because I'm not sure why they would keep someone with negative customer service skills around). I was going to use another location because of the customer service I received the previous times, but I this location was a little more convenient. Never again. I'm tired of getting bad customer service. No greeting, grunting replies, no general people skills. I did get a friendly thank you from another worker in the store at the same time, but I can get better customer service at the UPS up the street. read more

It's reassuring when a business lives up to your hopes. I have learned that I can trust Vip Gupta who owns the UPS Store #2002 on Anderson Mill Rd in Austin, TX 78750. (13492 Hwy 183 is the address given on YELP.) He is knowledgeable, patient, and kind, a great resource when I need to ship materials. He has carefully wrapped and shipped small furniture and at least 10 large boxes for me. All arrived on time and unharmed. If ever he doesn't offer a particular service I need, he will give me the name of a trustworthy alternative, and that has happened a couple of times. The UPS merchant he recommended also lived up to expectations. I am grateful for high standards of excellent service. read more
