The cozy indoor dining room transports you to a relaxed, no-frills neighborhood restaurant you'd expect to find in Naples, Italy. The service was excellent. Our server was friendly, offered thoughtful recommendations, and checked in at just the right times. They were attentive without being intrusive. We never had to ask for plates to be cleared or flag someone down when we were ready for dessert. We started with the calamari, followed by the lasagna, and finished with the lemon cake. I also had an Aperol Spritz. Every dish tasted incredibly fresh, and you could tell nothing relied on frozen ingredients or store-bought sauces. If you're looking for authentic Italian food in the Fredericksburg area, I highly recommend Orofino. I can't wait to come back the next time I'm in town.

We were placed in a room with a door leading directly to the kitchen, so it was extremely loud and staff were constantly walking through our retirement dinner. For what is supposed to be a nicer restaurant--and considering the prices--it really took away from the atmosphere and experience. As far as the food, it was decent but inconsistent. I ordered the lamb chops well done. They had a good flavor, but they definitely were not well done and, in my opinion, were not worth the price. I expected more. The filet mignon was pretty bland. The salad dressing was nasty, to me and the others at the table. They could have kept that. On the positive side, the crab cakes were delicious, and the shrimp pasta with lemon butter sauce was also delicious. The chocolate cake was very good also!! Those were definitely the highlights of the meal. Overall, it was a decent experience, but nothing to write home about. Unfortunately, the customer service and atmosphere made the biggest impression on me, and based on that alone, I don't see myself returning.

While I cannot say for certain, the temperature of the food may have been related to the workload Jasmine was handling. Jasmine was serving a large party of ten, several other tables in the booths, guests seated on the outside patio, and she was also responsible for the bar. That is an enormous amount of responsibility for one server. Despite being stretched in so many directions, Jasmine handled everything professionally and remained attentive and courteous throughout my meal. She certainly deserves credit for doing an excellent job under very demanding circumstances. There was, however, another issue that should not be overlooked: the menu itself had food particles on it. Menus should be clean and presentable, particularly in a restaurant where guests are preparing to dine. Overall, while Jasmine provided professional and attentive service under difficult circumstances, the lukewarm food, melted dessert, and unclean menu detracted considerably from the dining experience.

There were 3 items ordered: 1) Cheesy Bread 2) Wings 3) Pizza. All items ordered were delicious. The cheesy bread was soft and airy. Their pizzas had a variety of signature specialty as well create your own. I chose to create my own option with white sauce, pepperoni and banana peppers. The pizza was good, had great flavor but the under carriage wasn't charred or crispy enough for me. As for the 10 piece wings, I ordered 5 of garlic parmesan and 5 buffalo. They were both tasty but wasn't properly coated as it appears it was just flop on top. All staff members provided great customer service especially cashier Aubree. She was patient, attentive and friendly. It was filled with good vibes and great people from both employees and patrons. If the weather permits, they also have outside seatings with umbrellas. Since this was my first time, I would make another visit to try other items on their menu.
