Paintmasters painted our kitchen cabinets and did a great job! Both David and Luke were very responsive and communicated the scope of the project clearly before we started. Beto got to work right away and was very respectful of keeping our house clean and everything tapped/protected appropriately. The whole job took about 1 week to complete and we're very happy with the results! Thank you! read more

We had a fantastic experience with Paintmasters. Not only were they available to meet immediately, starting a few short weeks after quoting the job and went out of their way to get the colors we desired. They were also reasonably priced, the best pricing we experienced in the bay. The team was friendly, and stayed connected the entire time time. After the job was one, Luke even came back for a few touchups after the job was technically done. read more

5+ Star experience with Paintmasters. We called another company who was booked and they referred us to Paintmasters. We were on a time crunch so getting started soon was important. We got a quote right away from Mac - very professional and friendly and started the job within a week. Luke was a great project manager - professional and great communication. The team that worked on refinishing our cabinets, painting the kitchen, and the entire house were just amazing- very talented, organized. Everything looks top notch and we have a whole new kitchen and home now. Again, really nice team from front end with Kelly to the workers on the job. Really felt like they had my best interest on mind and gave the best suggestions. Highly recommend them and will be sure to call back again for future jobs. read more

I highly recommend Paintmasters based in Concord. We had our kitchen cabinets painted by them instead of replacing them. From the quote to the end of the project the employees were all professional, respectful, and courteous. Brian gave us our quote and was the project manager for the project. I received daily calls from him on the status of the job and the plan for the next day. I could not have asked for better service from the project manager. He answered my texts and calls immediately and always kept me informed. The workmanship of the crew was outstanding, and I appreciated their level of care and professionalism in my house. They finished within the time frame they committed to and pricing was very good. The owner of the company, David, came out a couple of times to check on the project and to make sure I was happy with everything. I had to push them back an extra day at the end of the project because my countertop fabricator could not come on the day he originally intended to. Paintmasters did not complain and were very accommodating of my need to change. Definitely, the right decision to go with Paintmasters. read more

We had our bathroom cabinets painted in two bathrooms and I can't say enough about Paintmasters. if you are looking for professional cabinet painters these are your guys! Everything from start to finish was excellent. All the guys working for David are so nice and easy to work with and their work is top notch. I had been looking for good cabinet painters for about a year, I'm so glad I waited and found Paintmasters. read more

Delighted with the price and result! The job involved painting cabinets for multiple bathrooms. Mac was prompt and professional, giving us the pros and cons of all options (finishes, spraying vs brushing etc). The price was great! The work done by Eddie (takedown and hardware removal) and Jeff (baseboard and facing painting) were equally professional and excellent. Could not be more satisfied with the process and a beautiful result! Will use them again for other jobs! read more

First yelp review ever. Woot woot for me! I wanted to post because I felt strongly about saying that Paintmasters was perfect for us. They were extremely professional, responsive and jumped on a job that needed a quick turnaround. Our realtor was more than impressed with the crew, and the finished work looked perfect. I would definitely recommend them and will use them again when needed. read more

I recently replaced all my interior doors and wanted to have the doors spray painted. The door company (AppleBlossom in San Ramon) recommended Paintmasters and I understand why. The doors were taken to their shop where and were ready in record time. I had them deliver the doors and they were placed in my home so they would not get scratched before install. The doors look FABULOUS, the paint job is truly perfect. My only regret is I did not use this outstanding company to paint the interior of my home a few months ago. This is a professional, skilled well-run company. They will not disappoint. read more

Paintmasters does it all- they did an amazing job painting our cabinets and exterior of our home. They are very quick, clean, and organized. Mac gave us the quote and went over every detail to make sure we were happy and understood the entire process - he is extremely knowledgeable, professional, trustworthy and all-around nice guy. Luke was the PM, helpful and very communicative, professional and enjoyable to work with over the length of our project. The crew did such a great job we decided to add on more projects and paint the rest of the interior of our home and they were able to squeeze us in their schedule. Highly recommend and will be back. read more

They did reach out to me when they saw this review, so they likely would have rectified the situation to make it right had I made it known to them directly. So much time had passed that I didn't consider it worth pursuing. They have a lot of fantastic reviews, so they likely would have gone above and beyond to fix the issues. I just wished that it had gone right on the first try. I do appreciate that they reached out to me immediately after my review (but clearly I did not log back in for over half a year) read more

Mac was incredibly helpful in providing detailed information and options for our kitchen projects. Although we decided not go to with our original project of painting our upper cabinets, we did schedule work to have our cabinet knobs and pulls installed. Tony showed up on time and did an excellent job. There was a mistake (on our part / instructions that were given on-site), but he handled it with professionalism and ease and made the necessary changes quickly and seamlessly. The results came out perfect and we're so glad we used Paintmasters to get this job done. Thank you again, Tony!! read more

I can't say enough great things about David and his crew at PaintMasters. I just had them repair a whole section of water damaged stucco outside my dining room window and while they were here had them strip and repaint my deck door plus touch up another door. Since that one gets such a direct hit of sunlight, David suggested an additional coating on top for further protection. A couple years ago I had them paint a brand new front door (inside and out) and my fireplace mantel. Professional crew, top notch work, Luke communicated and had me knowing what would happen when - and at terrific prices. I will use them again. read more

Our contractor brought in Paintmasters during our remodel last year and we just had them back to complete the rest of the house. This included a 20+ foot tall ceiling, walls, doors/casements, and a stairwell and railing. Some very detailed work was required to undo the previous bad paint job so that they could do it right. The team they brought out was excellent and David communicated with us daily as to how we were progressing and what to expect next. They sealed up the living areas with zip doors, wore booties, and were, generally, the cleanest painters I've ever seen. They also moved all our furniture in and out of the garage and helped us re-mount several of our heavier wall mounted items. They really put the "Master" in Paintmasters. Their attention to detail, follow through is unmatched. We did a walk through of the downstairs and thought it looked great, but David came through and had his team add another coat...Really love their high standards, work ethic, and workmanship. I highly recommend them. read more

I hired Paintmasters to paint my interior doors and trim. They did a great job. Luke was amazing! He was on time, kept in touch and made sure to get the job done in a timely manner. I was very pleased with Paintmasters. Also during this time there was an issue with my pantry door glass, which now has to be replaced, and painted again. Paintmasters said no problem just have the door sent to us directly. Customer Service has been outstanding. Two Thumbs Up!!!! read more

I wouldn't hesitate to give them even more stars if I could!! I was in the market to get my kitchen cabinets and ceiling painted. I did my due diligence and received five quotes. From the moment David walked into my kitchen and reassured me that it was a job that would turn out great. I appreciated the fact that David made it seem like this was a standard job when others made it seem like it was incredibly complicated. Luke showed up the first day and covered my floors and appliances, removed all the cabinet doors, hinges and hardware in a short amount of time. Luke told me what to expect the next day, who to expect and what time they were showing up. Everyone arrived on time to the very minute and were very professional. In the evening, I received a text from Luke confirming the plans for the next day and the time. For kitchen cabinets and the ceiling it took started Monday and by Friday the cabinet doors were re-installed. Luke came over and made a final inspection to ensure the quality of work. I am blown away by the customer service and the quality of work. The cabinets look stunning. Coupled with a painted ceiling, I feel as if I have a brand new kitchen. Do not look at any other company's... call PaintMasters, you will not regret it! read more

Had our interiors doors picked up / dropped off & painted. They did an excellent job and were always on time. Luke who picked up / dropped off the doors is excellent to deal with A++!! Would recommend for your next painting project. read more

we were very pleased with the repainting job paintmasters did on our cabinet doors. they matched and supplied the paint, sanded and primed the doors, and put a clearcoat finish on them, all within a week of delivery. the cost was reasonable, and exactly what the informal "estimate" stated. paintmasters was professional and easy to work with. the staff was friendly, and funny, and we are happy we chose them for this job. read more

I will always call Paintmasters. They painted the entire interior of my home. They were professional, friendly, responsive, and did the highest quality work from the first walk through to the final sign off. They also gave me advice that saved me at least $1000. These guys are tops! read more

Paintmasters exceeded my expectations!! They painted the entire interior of our house and removed the popcorn ceiling. The texture they added was perfect! The team was very detail oriented and the outcome was great. Not only do they do a great job painting, but the level of professionalism was beyond anything else I've seen with other contractors. We will be calling them again for any other projects, including painting the exterior :)!! read more

I had an exceptional experience working with Paintmasters to paint my kitchen cabinets. David was extremely knowledgable and guided us on what would work best for our type of cabinets. Luke managed our project and was absolutely wonderful. He was so thorough and had incredible attention to detail, in addition to being very communicative and accommodating. Alan did the most of the painting and was also fantastic to work with. I really appreciated the level of professionalism and high commitment to customer service throughout our whole project. We will definitely use Paintmasters again for any future projects and I'd recommend you do the same! :) read more

10 stars out of 5.... David Miles is a great guy. He runs a great company. The painters were excellent. They did a wonderful job on our Master bedroom and bath. They were neat ,clean, polite, and professional. It is very rare that I leave contractors alone in my house but, I trusted the painters enough that I left the house the second day. I wish I had known about them last year when I had the downstairs painted by a very large company, who had done a mediocre job at a PREMIUM price. Paintmasters's price was Fair and worth it. I would recommend them without hesitation. They are our painters for life. I wish I had discovered them 20 years ago... read more

During the replacement of our heating furnace, the contractors accidentally damage our ceiling and resulted in a hole. The heating company called Paintmasters to repair the ceiling. Antonio came out with another person to drywall the ceiling and retexture the ceiling. They were clean and quick! The whole job took only 1 hour and everything was covered to avoid any mess. Extremely professional. I would consider hiring them for future jobs. read more

I got a free quote from David who came to check out the kitchen cabinets that needed spray painting. He knew I was trying to save money on the project so he gave me a quote to take the drawers into his shop, which is what I did. When I got them back and inspected them at home, I noticed that some of them was a little scuffed or had shadows on them after I brought them home. He told me that they didn't really prep them and that he thought I wanted was for them to paint over them, which was true. As far as the scuffed ones, I may have damaged them when I transported them in the car, but really don't know, since I didn't inspect each one when I was at the shop. So when I got home, there were two boards that needed to be redone, but he prepped two of them up for me for a minimal charge the following day. The work they did was great. David and his professional crew will work with you and make sure you are happy...and it helps to think he's funny when he tries to be humorous. read more

I really cannot say enough about the professionalism and the amazing job we received from Paintmasters. From the beginning, David, came in gave us an honest estimate, to working with Luke on setting up our project , to the guys coming in to paint. They were friendly, hardworking and again, very professional. We got their very best and we could not be happier. I HIGHLY, recommend Paintmasters for any of your painting needs. You will not be disappointed. read more

We can't say enough of about how great David and his team are. We had quite a bit of work to be done--exterior trim, kitchen cabinets, dry wall repair and interior painting as well. PaintMasters did a fantastic job on everything. Our kitchen cabinets look amazing. We keep asking ourselves why did we wait so long. They are very professional, on time, on budget, and respectful of the home. They were careful to protect our furniture and floors from over spray by draping and sealing off areas. We got bids from several other companies. Their prices our competitive and we are so glad we chose them. We will definitely be using David and the team on all our future painting needs. read more

I had Dave the owner come to my house for an estimate to paint my kitchen cabinets, install hardware and hidden hinges after reading his wonderful reviews on yelp. He was a bit late due to traffic but was kind enough to call to let me know. Once he arrived, he insulted my new home by asking "why did you buy this place?" Then he proceeded to tell me he almost cancelled my estimate appointment at the last minute because he had an urgent situation arise with a BIG high dollar commercial contract in the city that was way more important than my small job. So I give 2 stars being nice not knowing his actual work but his ego and outright rudeness was far to big for me. Also, it was complex for me that the cabinet painters and the hinge installers are separate estimates, with separate contacts. Also the contract has hardware installation charged by the hour, which is always concerning for me. I prefer a complete estimate versus an open ended amount. Too many hidden charges. I really wanted to hire them based on reviews, but glad I went with my gut. read more

We recently decided to replace our old kitchen appliances with new stainless steel models, and at the same time to freshen up the kitchen cabinets. We did not want to a full demo and replace them and the counter tops. After meeting with several vendors and reviewing options for "freshening up the cabinets" we decided to have Paintmasters of Concord, come in a paint the existing cabinets a medium pewter gray, and a light gray on the walls. They also painted the ceiling and all the trim in the kitchen. The process took about a week, including removal of the cabinet and room doors for prep and painting at their shop. They did a great job, very neat and orderly, just beautiful results. If you want to freshen up your kitchen, I would highly recommend this shop of craftsman and painters for the job. read more

5-star service all around. We had a terrible experience with other contractors working on our home in Palo Alto. Mac came out to assess how to fix the situation and Luke, Tony, Juan, and Leo did a fantastic job of fixing everything. All of the sloppy work done by our prior contractor was perfected and we are thrilled with the interior of our home. Everyone arrived on time each day, the team was very clean, and we stayed within the budget estimate. We were thrilled with the outcome of this project. Would definitely use them again. read more

We just finished painting our kitchen cabinets and are very happy with the job Paintmasters did for us. After interviewing 5 painters this firm was one of the more economical & past reviews helped us make the decision to go with them, so I wanted to add my own review as well to say that we're happy we did. They were very responsive to calls & questions, they were on time every day and also did a good job keeping our kitchen and surrounding areas clean. As for the work, we're very happy with how it turned out. It's like a brand new kitchen. read more

Paintmasters did an outstanding job! They painted the outside of our house and our patio cover beautifully! Thank you Paintmasters! They just finished painting my master bathroom, guest bath, son's bathroom, and two linen closets and the end result was just what I wanted! I had been wanting to do this for a while with our first home but was hesitant to ruin the cabinets and just moved and again did not want to ruin the cabinets. That thought disappeared after I met with David, Paintmasters specializes in painting cabinets they know there product and made me feel confident that the job would be done both in a timely manner and the result would be a good quality. Our gray cabinets look like they have always been gray! I just finished putting up pulls and knobs and the end result is just what I wanted and imagined!! Both your service, communication, and your willingness to work with any issues that arose were so greatly appreciated thank you to David, Luke and Alan for completing this project on our home! read more

We recently purchased a townhouse in Walnut Creek. Before moving in we needed to have the entire house painted as the grey and blue walls (although beautiful) didn't match our color scheme--upholstery, drapes, etc. The seller recommended Paintmasters and what a great recommendation! They accommodated our timeline/move in date and started working the day we closed on the house. They had asked us to let them know our paint colors ahead of time which we did and they painted color boards in shades slightly lighter and darker so we could try out the colors before painting. What a help that was. The painters were polite, tidy and very professional. They even helped us move some furniture around after the movers left. Luke was the manager who oversaw the process and he was wonderful. After the job was completed, he came in and checked every room for any missed spots (he only found one which he quickly touched up). Luke was great to work with. And we were more than pleased with Paintmasters! read more
