I can't say enough great things about David and his crew at PaintMasters. I just had them repair a whole section of water damaged stucco outside my dining room window and while they were here had them strip and repaint my deck door plus touch up another door. Since that one gets such a direct hit of sunlight, David suggested an additional coating on top for further protection. A couple years ago I had them paint a brand new front door (inside and out) and my fireplace mantel. Our contractor brought in Paintmasters during our remodel last year and we just had them back to complete the rest of the house. This included a 20+ foot tall ceiling, walls, doors/casements, and a stairwell and railing. Some very detailed work was required to undo the previous bad paint job so that they could do it right. The team they brought out was excellent and David communicated with us daily as to how we were progressing and what to expect next. They sealed up the living areas with zip doors, wore booties, and were, generally, the cleanest painters I've ever seen. They also moved all our furniture in and out of the garage and helped us re-mount several of our heavier wall mounted items. They really put the "Master" in Paintmasters. Their attention to detail, follow through is unmatched. We did a walk through of the downstairs and thought it looked great, but David came through and had his team add another coat...Really love their high standards, work ethic, and workmanship. I hired Paintmasters to paint my interior doors and trim. They did a great job. Luke was amazing! He was on time, kept in touch and made sure to get the job done in a timely manner. I was very pleased with Paintmasters. Also during this time there was an issue with my pantry door glass, which now has to be replaced, and painted again. I wouldn't hesitate to give them even more stars if I could!! I was in the market to get my kitchen cabinets and ceiling painted. I did my due diligence and received five quotes. From the moment David walked into my kitchen and reassured me that it was a job that would turn out great. I appreciated the fact that David made it seem like this was a standard job when others made it seem like it was incredibly complicated. Luke showed up the first day and covered my floors and appliances, removed all the cabinet doors, hinges and hardware in a short amount of time. Luke told me what to expect the next day, who to expect and what time they were showing up. Everyone arrived on time to the very minute and were very professional. In the evening, I received a text from Luke confirming the plans for the next day and the time. For kitchen cabinets and the ceiling it took started Monday and by Friday the cabinet doors were re-installed. Luke came over and made a final inspection to ensure the quality of work. I am blown away by the customer service and the quality of work. The cabinets look stunning. Coupled with a painted ceiling, I feel as if I have a brand new kitchen. They were neat ,clean, polite, and professional. It is very rare that I leave contractors alone in my house but, I trusted the painters enough that I left the house the second day. I wish I had known about them last year when I had the downstairs painted by a very large company, who had done a mediocre job at a PREMIUM price. Paintmasters's price was Fair and worth it. I got a free quote from David who came to check out the kitchen cabinets that needed spray painting. He knew I was trying to save money on the project so he gave me a quote to take the drawers into his shop, which is what I did. When I got them back and inspected them at home, I noticed that some of them was a little scuffed or had shadows on them after I brought them home. He told me that they didn't really prep them and that he thought I wanted was for them to paint over them, which was true. As far as the scuffed ones, I may have damaged them when I transported them in the car, but really don't know, since I didn't inspect each one when I was at the shop. So when I got home, there were two boards that needed to be redone, but he prepped two of them up for me for a minimal charge the following day. The work they did was great. David and his professional crew will work with you and make sure you are happy...and it helps to think he's funny when he tries to be humorous. read more

I had Dave the owner come to my house for an estimate to paint my kitchen cabinets, install hardware and hidden hinges after reading his wonderful reviews on yelp. He was a bit late due to traffic but was kind enough to call to let me know. Once he arrived, he insulted my new home by asking "why did you buy this place?" Then he proceeded to tell me he almost cancelled my estimate appointment at the last minute because he had an urgent situation arise with a BIG high dollar commercial contract in the city that was way more important than my small job. So I give 2 stars being nice not knowing his actual work but his ego and outright rudeness was far to big for me. Also, it was complex for me that the cabinet painters and the hinge installers are separate estimates, with separate contacts. Also the contract has hardware installation charged by the hour, which is always concerning for me. I prefer a complete estimate versus an open ended amount. Too many hidden charges. I really wanted to hire them based on reviews, but glad I went with my gut. read more

We recently decided to replace our old kitchen appliances with new stainless steel models, and at the same time to freshen up the kitchen cabinets. We did not want to a full demo and replace them and the counter tops. After meeting with several vendors and reviewing options for "freshening up the cabinets" we decided to have Paintmasters of Concord, come in a paint the existing cabinets a medium pewter gray, and a light gray on the walls. They also painted the ceiling and all the trim in the kitchen. The process took about a week, including removal of the cabinet and room doors for prep and painting at their shop. They did a great job, very neat and orderly, just beautiful results. If you want to freshen up your kitchen, I would highly recommend this shop of craftsman and painters for the job. read more

During the replacement of our heating furnace, the contractors accidentally damage our ceiling and resulted in a hole. The heating company called Paintmasters to repair the ceiling. Antonio came out with another person to drywall the ceiling and retexture the ceiling. They were clean and quick! The whole job took only 1 hour and everything was covered to avoid any mess. We recently purchased a townhouse in Walnut Creek. Before moving in we needed to have the entire house painted as the grey and blue walls (although beautiful) didn't match our color scheme--upholstery, drapes, etc. The seller recommended Paintmasters and what a great recommendation! They accommodated our timeline/move in date and started working the day we closed on the house. They had asked us to let them know our paint colors ahead of time which we did and they painted color boards in shades slightly lighter and darker so we could try out the colors before painting. What a help that was. The painters were polite, tidy and very professional. They even helped us move some furniture around after the movers left. Luke was the manager who oversaw the process and he was wonderful. After the job was completed, he came in and checked every room for any missed spots (he only found one which he quickly touched up).
