I stumbled upon this gem looking for flowers to send several people in one household. The assistance I got after some technical glitch that failed to capture my payment was transparent, quick, and communicatively done amongst several people there on different days. Service was impeccable. No one dropped the ball. I'm back again and will tell everyone I know to check out Paiko! Thank you for being open and servicing all during this pandemic. read more

Received a succulent bouquet for holiday gift. Neat. The stone bowl is so HEAVY! Comes with instruction card. Will post pics. read more

Why would they even bother to sell cute plants that have the p65 warning to cancer and reproductive harm! Are you trying to kill me slowly?! For real though, Don't sell me plants that might kill me. I accidentally ended up buying a plant with the stupid 65 warning until later realizing and regretting it. Such a mood killer. Other than that this place has cute sh*t. read more

Super cool new plant/flower boutique in Kaka'ako! I noticed that this had opened recently near my office and decided to stop in one day after lunch. I was pleased to see that Paiko offered not only cute, office-friendly plants like succulents, in a number of different arrangements, but also that most -- if not all -- of their offerings were local in origin. Everything was reasonably priced, too: I got a really beautiful reddish-green succulent in a ceramic bowl to take back to my office for only $12! These will be great as gifts. And the staff were really, really nice. It's so nice to have a "florist" in the neighborhood (though Paiko seems to be more about making eco-friendly choices, so it's not your bouquet-of-roses type of flower shop). I'll definitely be stopping in every once in a while, just to see what's available! read more

I love you Paiko. I would move into your space if you added rentals to your newly renovated space. Lots of great succulent choices as well as household plants. Please hit up the terrarium DIY bar - i love the concept, it rocked my world. read more

Gem! Enjoyed browsing this lovely store. Didn't know what to expect but was greeted by Leah (she only works on Sundays) who enthusiastically showed us around and educated us on the different succulents/air plants. Leah walked us through the DIY bar and was patient throughout. We really enjoyed putting together our own arrangement. On a side note, Brue Bar, located inside the store serves up delish coffee drinks. I will definitely be back!! read more

Paiko is basically the Yogurtland of succulents. The only difference being that Yogurtland isnt really relevant anymore :| Basically you choose a pot, plant, soil, and decorations and puttem all together and try to make it look like the kinds in the books. Its a good gift for significant others or mothers or anyone who likes baby cacti. The pots are kind of on the pricey side I thought but they all seem island made so thats probably why. read more

Paiko - Food for all the senses. - Florists Near Me - Honolulu, Hawaii

Normally I pick plants from around my neighborhood or on hikes. The upside to this is that it's free; the downside: You have to carry scissors/shears, a collection sack of some sort and make an attempt to appear non-conspicuous tugging at someone's landscaping. Also, there's a lot of little bugs and ants in nature so that's bothersome too since the last thing I want is more insects in my house. Anyway, there's a sufficient selection of clean and healthy plants, including native Hawaiian foliage - flowers, fronds, leaves, etc. For about $14 I walked away with a good number of things and I'm pleased with the variety and the ecletic, Hawaiian-y look it gives a living space. I'll most likely be back. read more

Paiko is my favorite spot in the Kaka'ako neighborhood! They have an awesome selection of local plants and products. I first fell in love with Paiko during one of their staghorn workshops. Tamara and Courtney are amazing owners! Very helpful, very friendly, and very talented. I highly suggest everyone to stop by and pick up something special. Truly the best floral store in the state!!! read more

Paiko - Mine is on the left , BF made the other one. - Florists Near Me - Honolulu, Hawaii

I love this shop. I often go just to look. The calming interior & adorable planters make me want to cure my black thumb.

Really cute floral and succulent shop in a hip and upcoming part of Kakaako. Nestled between R&D coffee shop and Taste restaurant, it is in a prime location. It is also featured at the Kakaako Night Market. They have really unique vases that you probably won't find at any other florist in Hawaii. I also love their succulent gardens and terrariums which vary in price from $8 - $100. They even sell local vegetable and fruit seeds and cat and dog grass that you can grow on your own. They always make sure to have unique and exotic flowers like peonies and different types of gingers, it's a surprise everytime I go! Follow them on instagram 'paikohawaii' to find out about workshops that they offer including how to make a bouquet, succulent garden, terrariums and more ($35 - $50)! read more

If you you're feeling creative, go to Arvo and let your creativity works its magic. Went here to pick up plants but ended up creating a terrarium. They have all the supplies you need to creat something for your home or for gifts. The downside is that the plants are very very pricey. You can get the similar plants at lowes for half the price. But if you're a beginner, go there and get an idea from the people that works there and then create something with cheaper materials you can find somewhere else. read more

This is a cute little plant store (as I like to call it). They have the usual plant products to help you start a garden but what I love most is how they make the plants into art. My favorite are the little terrarium things, not only are they cute, but they're like mini eco-systems! I just think they're cool :) The plants and flowers here are a bit more on the exotic side but the lady that runs the place is always so friendly and ready to give you any advice about growing plants. They sometimes have workshops where you can learn how to make "plant art". I never been to one but I really want to. If you're looking for something out of the ordinary, plant wise, this is the place to go. read more

I don't know who they have working at this place but let me tell ya, what a miserable person. You can get everything here at the farmers market or online plus not have to deal with the horrible customer service read more

I am in love with this shop. We went to check it out during the night market and I had so much fun! I'm in love with the staghorn ferns. I need them for my wall in my office. It's a build your own terrarium/home for air plants and succulents. They also have local artist items like pottery. There is a coffee/tea bar as well. I was happy to see macramé plant hangers - I love these things. My friend purchased a cute vase and air plant for her office. I'm looking forward to returning to the store within the next 30 days to pick up items for my office too. read more

My wife loves this place and we now have a random white cactus like pottery thing in our home which of all the souvenirs you can purchase in Hawaii, she chose that. This is a great little store for succulents and friendly people. Plus plus plus there's a Brue Bar located inside which can serve you up some delicious coffee. Flowers and coffee, what a great combination. read more

Absolutely adore this tiny oasis of calm and serenity on Auahi Street. I think it's the only botanical boutique we have in Honolulu, where you can go in and select a beautiful plant and put it in a container of your own choice. Complete with rocks and soil and accessories that you've chosen. I've attended classes here that are informative and a lot of fun. The last class I attended was a terrarium making class with about seven other happy participants. We put in layers of soil, sand, charcoal topped off with pretty colored stones, tiny animal figurines and a selection of pretty green plants. Also have a nice selection of cacti and succulents. Courtney one of the owners always has other items to tempt you. Unusual glass pieces, hand woven baskets, Wek jars with displays of how to put things together in a sophisticated and eye pleasing manner. Sure sometimes the plants die. But you can go back and they will help you to replace the plant that died and you can put it in the container yourself or have them do it for you. They will also make gorgeous custom gifts from plants and items that you've personally selected. read more

Paiko - Florists Near Me - Honolulu, Hawaii

Super cute! Came here for breakfast with a friend. We had the salmon toast and avocado toast. The atmosphere is very unique, walking down the street towards Paiko felt like LA! The toast was a lot smaller than it appears in the pictures, but it was good. There are a few tables outside, I hope they add more seating inside(it was really hot outside) as this place becomes more popular. We had to share the table with another couple because there were no spots left. Overall, stop by for some coffee if you'e in the area, but don't plan an actual breakfast/lunch date here, not the right place for a sit down meal. They also sell art & flea type of stuff lie succulents, I'm pretty sure theres a station to build your own succulent home. read more

Thank you Tamara for the beautiful setting of florals for our wedding day. We loved everything! Our arch was beautiful and the bouquets and centerpieces were incredible as well. We can't believe you took our very few ideas on our first meeting and made it so beautiful! I literally think this place is the best thing since sliced bread. I love Paiko, it's such a fun experience to shop here, select your plant and pot it yourself! They have lots of great succulent options that you can pair with beautiful pots and cool rock fillings. And succulents hardly require any care and live forever! read more

Who doesn't love this adorable little flower shop?! I come here often and I can never leave without getting blooms. Awesome store and a truly one of a kind establishment here on Oahu. The prices may seem steep, but they are actually reasonable when you shop online. Plus you are supporting a small local business by paying a few dollars more. I definitely recommend this place. read more

Came to Paiko for the first time after a couple of my friends recommended it based in my love of cactus and succulents as well as tilandsias. Left the store not only with a bag full of stuff for my next project but with a greater appreciation of the artistic and creative ways to promote plants that are ecologically friendly but also have an artistic value as well. Very friendly service and a nice assortment of plants, pottery and everything you need to spark your creative juices. Will definitely be back and highly recommend Paiko. read more

What a lovely place! Beautiful flowers to choose from. Make your own pots of succulent! Really fun!

I've always loved Paiko. It's such a different concept and truly one of a kind. I mean sure, there's tons of places where you can buy plants but their support of local businesses and providing a upscale experience in a beautiful setting set them apart. When I was a nanny I used to bring the kids here to make terrariums or plant succulents while I would sip on a coffee. I've also done lots of business meetings at Arvo and then walked through all the beautiful options at Paikos before leaving, usually with a hostess gift or new plant for my house or their handmade cards! I definitely recommend coming with girlfriends to have a fun brunch and activity. Nothing like getting your hands a little dirty! I have yet to do one of their workshops but I'm really looking forward to eventually being able to go to one of those too! The new addition to Milo being at the Paiko space is definitely fun and different though I have to admit I miss having more space to sit when ordering from Arvo and more room to browse the plant selection! read more
