This was my first time ordering from Honolulu Flower Lady, and I loved the Designer's Choice Classic arrangement! It was a gift from five of us for a grieving friend and turned out even more beautiful than I imagined. The price was great for what we received, too! I appreciated the handwritten card and text updates throughout the delivery process. My only disappointment was that one of our names was misspelled on the card. Otherwise, it was a lovely experience, and I'd definitely order again! read more

I received an orchid for a special occasion and the leaves were already starting to crinkle and show signs of yellowing. Now all but 2 blooms are gone and about 1/2 the leaves have died. I have had many orchids last for over 6-8 months with minimal bloom drop. Perhaps this florist is better for bouquet arrangements but for over $170 I would expect a healthy orchid that didn't look like a Costco plant potted in a TJMaxx pot. read more

Cindy is phenomenal and I'm so happy I was able to have her as my florist. She is genuinely sweet and really loves what she does and it shows. I was able to coordinate everything virtually. She was great with scheduling time to talk and accommodated my budget. She provided a GORGEOUS round arch, floor arrangements that we repurposed for the table, a bouquet, and leis for all the guests. I like that she was transparent about pricing on her website and I appreciate I didn't have to fill out a generic web survey. I provided some inspo pics and she provided a proposal with pricing. First time customer, definitely returning for future flower needs. Found this business with a simple "lei" yelp search. Their website featured quality photos of their lei selection which I really appreciated. I called the establishment to ask questions before ordering and Cindy was spectacular! She made the whole process a breeze. I really appreciate them accommodating my order on a 2 day notice. I ordered: * LEI: Single strand red rose with a single strand Pikake * LEI2: 3 strand pikake * HAKU: White rose Lei po'o (pre made and added on the day of delivery) Delivery was on time despite pau hana rush hour. Got to meet another flower lady Ariyana and I am really impressed with how genuine, helpful, and joyful each employee was. Great quality, fair pricing, and awesome customer service. I found Honolulu Florist on Yelp. They offered exceptional service, making the process of ordering from the mainland and picking up the floral arrangements in Waikiki very easy and convenient. I recently purchased a stunning maile ti leaf lei for a graduation ceremony, and it was beautifully crafted, full, flowing and ready on time. For another occasion, on a different day, I ordered a haku lei, and once again, the quality and beauty exceeded my expectations. The recipient was very happy. Their attention to detail and friendly service make Honolulu Flower Lady Florist a top choice for any special occasion :) Mahalo Cindy and Theodora! read more

Boyfriend ordered a $200 bouquet for Valentine's Day for same day delivery. It's now 6:30pm and the flowers still have not arrived. Boyfriend spoke to the owner, Cindy over the phone and she promised a delivery time of latest by 5pm. Never ordering from here again. Received my bouquet around 7:30ish but I was already in bed. Maybe next year, close your orders at a certain number so that delivery times are reasonable. Defeats the purpose of getting flowers to celebrate and you get it at the end of the day. read more

The flowers were absolutely stunning, gorgeous colors carefully placed together to compliment each other. My husband ordered flowers and cookies for valentines to be delivered to me at work, 2 weeks ahead of time. He is blind and can't drive himself. The day of delivery he called to see how it was going. They said priority people would get delivered first. No one ever offered priority options to him or he would have taken advantage of it. I work at a school, so not able to get it delivered late. The owner was very argumentative and rude and just said she would refund him the money. Not even an apology or work out any other option. It was so heartbreaking for my husband. It was Mother's Day and we were in need of a last minute flower bouquet for the mothers while we were at our staycation hotel. The Lei stand was at the food court of International Marketplace so we walked a good 7 minute to it. Easy to find. We came at 11am so it was perfect timing that a women, a worker, came to restock in flowers. It was a good thing she was there to help choose a flower out of her various selection. Overall her service was really well and much needed. They also gave us 10% Kamaiana Discount. It made everything easy and fast for us. The prices were reasonable too, given that it was a Mother's Day and we were in Waikiki. And they have different sizes of bouquets that would be able to be in within your budget. For us, we got one big bouquet of flower for the mom which was around $50. And 2 smaller bouquets that were matching, (were about $30 each), for the sisters who were also mothers. read more

My father brought a huge corporate account to Cindys, which they made A LOT of money from. He had a personal relationship with the owners, which kept us loyal for decades. After my father passed, the company cut tie with Cindy's. I was devastated and didn't understand why. Cindy's always gave us the best service. Recently I found out why relations were cut. Cindy's has really changed and no longer provides the great customer service they once did. I placed a very important order for an event on the mainland to be shipped out and arrive a day before the event. I placed the order over a month in advance and was promised it would be just fine and well taken care of. Well, when the week of the event came, I called every day, multiple times a day, just to confirm everything. They won't answer their phones. I sent emails and messages through their website. Those also went unanswered. I even went to the store in person before work at 6am, nut it wasn't open yet. I had no way of getting in touch with them and wondered if they had shut down. I had to go on the faith that they have always provided us stellar service in the past. I was so wrong. Cindy's completely forgot to send my order at all, and left me without anything, the day before the event. The amount of stress I went through trying to find a florist on the mainland to provide lei was insane. Cindy's finally answered my many messages the day before. They said they could try to overnight my order that they forgot, but there were no promises it would get there on time, since the event was on a Saturday. I still have not been sent a receipt from them, which I asked for multiple times, or confirmation of the mailing. The lei did go, and my credit card got a huge charge, but without the receipt, I don't even know what I paid them for. And really, after all they put us through, they should have comped the order. My dad would be rolling in his grave to know how far downhill the company that he loved to support has gone. As for me, I will be taking my business elsewhere. I do truly hope they can get it together and grow back into the great company they once were.

I felt so last minute, but she didn't make me feel like I was imposing...another florist in the area did, which is why I so much appreciate Eileen and her patience. She has an extensive Instagram page, showing all her previous recent work, which made it easy to decide on exactly what style and florals I wanted. Without me asking, she sent me photos of the ribbon, card and later the arrangement once it was delivered. The arrangement turned out beautifully, just as her and I planned. The exact florals I requested were featured. The size of the funeral spray was large, which I really am grateful for, as the funeral only ended up having 2 sprays. It filled the room with love so well. Overall I highly recommend. Also, I am on the mainland, so doing this all over the phone, text and email was surprisingly easy. I called several stores last minute to obtain an arrangement of flowers for Mother's Day and despite my procrastination Honolulu Flower Lady answered and Cindy, despite being overwhelmingly busy, took to the time to create a stunning and gorgeous arrangement of incredibly fresh, vibrant, and locally sourced flowers for me (not to mention in the color scheme I requested). They were hand delivered by Cindy on a weekend and I am forever grateful for her positive attitude, attention to detail, and willingness to work with me over the phone from the East Coast US.
