Floral arrangements in Kaimuki, Honolulu, Hawaii... Located on the corner of 3rd Avenue and Waialae Avenue, across from Chaminade University/Saint Louis School, Patty's Floral Designs is a local business that has been around for decades! The quality is outstanding! I looked at Patty's Instagram posts and was blown away by the colors, varieties, and beauty of her creations! She has a good eye and is very professional! I just had to meet her after passing by the shop all of these years! We were picking up lunch from the restaurant next door. The free, small, shared parking lot is much appreciated! I went inside initially for the air-conditioning. Then, I met Patty - she is so sweet! She showed me a lei po'o (crown of flowers for the head) that she just finished... ooh! It holds its shape because she winds the flowers around a wire! Smart! I've read reviews by my friends, Kelly K., Paul M., Nicole, Holly, Ric C., and Lyn L. They were all happy with Patty's work. I'll come here next when I need a bouquet or two!
I would highly recommend Patty's Floral Designs. I was looking for somewhere for a last minute bouquet and maile lei. I was talking to my sister in law about her upcoming courthouse wedding. She wasn't going to have a bouquet since it would be a small ceremony but I thought it would be nice to get her one and she agreed. I emailed Patty just to see about pricing and availability. They responded right away with all their options and pricing so I could decide. They put me on for that Saturday and confirmed everything. I said designer's choice for the bouquet and was a little worried but I shouldn't have been! When we got there Saturday morning to pick up the flowers, Patty greeted us. She was soooo nice. The flowers came out so beautifully and the lei was nice and full. Amazing service and quality! I would highly recommend and come here again :)
10/22/24 Received this spectacular bouquet. I had to share and give her a shout out. The bouquet is beautiful and the flowers are all so fresh! Every angle has beautiful fresh flowers and such a beautiful assortment.

I was really excited to try Patty's bc I saw she had excellent reviews. Unfortunately, my experience was underwhelming. I ordered a bouquet of flowers for Mother's Day and that's exactly what I got. I understand that bouquets aren't always going to look EXACTLY like the pictures online (depending on what's in stock), but I was disappointed in the vast differences. The bouquet online had a soft aesthetic, lots of greenery, and was pink, white, and green. The one received didn't look cohesive as an arrangement, rather than a bunch of flowers squished into a vase by an amateur or someone on a time crunch. In my opinion, the hot pink flowers and daisies made it look cheap. My mom got flowers which is the important thing, but I feel like I could have made a better arrangement :(

Patty who is the owner of this family owned business in Kaimuki was so wonderful! She made a beautiful floral bouquet with some of the most biggest and most beautiful roses and she even went an extra mile to make the arrangement so special for my mother's special 91st birthday celebration and delivered it as well to a skilled nursing facility where my mother is receiving physical therapy. The flowers brightened my Mother's Day and put a big smile in her loving heart. If you are looking for a florist, I would highly recommend this florist. You will not be disappointed. Her flowers are fresh and her roses have a beautiful Venusian quality to them so perfect for your special and beautiful goddess of Love who you are celebrating.

Patty's Floral Designs has become my go to florist. I work in the area so when I need flowers I pop into the store and just describe what I want and my price point and they always put something together for me with so much aloha. I remember years ago when my daughter was a little girl they gave her a flower and she cherished it and I thought that was so sweet of them to make her day like that. That's just the way they are. I called yesterday late afternoon to oder a beautiful colorful flower arrangement. My mom loves pretty brilliant colors. Requested these colors. And asked if they could deliver next day. As usual so gracious and kind agreed to deliver. I live on Kauai, so my sister took a photo of beautiful arrangement! I hope my mom gets to see it! So her eyes finds joy!! My Daughter & her friends got flowers for Jr. prom and they looked great. Ribbons all matched their dresses. Very friendly and ordering was easy. Prices were reasonable. "Your friendly, neighborhood, florist" Patty's Floral Designs has been a fixture in Kaimuki for many a year. We have used them on several occasions in the past, and for the current purchase I needed to go with a can't miss florist. When you ask Patty to design an arrangement for that special occasion she does not disappoint. You tell her how much you want to spend, if there are any special flowers or plants you want used- and Patty will design something amazing. Flower arrangements for a special occasion are a big deal- it can make or break the mood of the day. So I put my full trust in Patty and yes, my wife was pleased. You could see it in her eyes and when she broke into a wide smile when she first saw the arrangement. Yes, money could be spent on a nice meal, yes, money could be spent on other things to give, but sometimes, the unexpected surprise of a custom flower arrangement really hits the spot, and Patty knows how to do this well. I wanted to give My Wife a special welcome home bouquet of roses mixed with some wildflowers and the gang at Patty's outdid themselves. My wife was so blown away how beautiful the flowers were as well as the arrangement that was made. Very warm and hospitable people. I definitely recommend them for any special occasion you want to make an impression. I know where I'll be going the next special occasion. So happy to be recommended to Patty's Floral this year. My son was to provide a wristlet for his Junior Prom date this past Spring. Because of my floral appreciation, both my son and his date's Mom asked me to handle the floral coordination. I had a distinct design and color combination we were desiring. We needed a floral designer to create matching wristlet and boutoniere for their event. Patty and I met beforehand. She took the time to really listen to what was desired. We went through my photos. She even allowed me to bring in specific flowers and accessories to be used in her design. I felt she truly cared about what we were hoping for. Upon pick up, we were blown away by her work! Called right when they open at 8:30am to place an order. I needed to have a Get Well floral arrangement created and delivered to someone in the hospital. The person I spoke to was very friendly and easy to work with. I gave her my price range and told her which examples on their website I really liked the most. From there she said they can custom arrange something for me based on what I liked and have it delivered the same day! It wasn't even that late in the day and my friend and his family had already received the arrangement. It was beautiful and very reasonably priced (which also included delivery fee). If you need flower arrangements, I highly recommend contacting this business. They're friendly, easy to work with, priced very well, and extremely quick! Ordering flowers over the phone is uncharted territory for me. Normally I like to see what I'm ordering. But since I'm on the mainland and the flowers were for my folks in Honolulu, I had to take a leap of faith. Before I selected a florist in Honolulu, I did some research on Yelp. I guess I could've gone with the usual, popular florists (Watanabe or Fujikami) but after reading stellar reviews, I decided to go with Patty's. Cindy took my phone order and couldn't have been nicer or more helpful! She assured me the flowers would be fresh, beautiful, and delivered by 3pm that same day. Let's just say, the flowers arrived in perfect condition and fresh fresh fresh! It is a bit expensive for what you get but I'm not complaining. Thank you Patty's Floral Designs for making a beautiful arrangement and making the process very easy and stress free! read more
