I brought my golden retriever here and the head groomer didn't even get up from her chair to greet me; it looked like she just took them and groomed them right there. The tub was black and foul looking and I had to help them get my dog in the tub. And my dogs LOVES being bath normally! When I picked up my dog 4 hours later (she called me to come get him), he was still damp. She said he didn't like the blow dryer but that's the first time I've ever been told he my dog didn't like the dryer. They said he was "so dirty", but I hike in the woods with him and three other grooming places have had no issue with taking in a dog with some dirt. My friend commented later that his cut was so uneven and it was! His fur around his paws are especially uneven/jagged. She charged me $150 for that terrible job. I've never been charged more than $110 to have him bathed and cut. I will NEVER take my dog back here. Buyer beware!!!

The grooming itself always looks great, and that's the only reason we've kept coming back. Unfortunately, the service and communication have become too difficult to overlook. My mother-in-law even drives an hour and a half from Savin Hill, leaving early just to beat traffic to get him here on time. We now know we shouldn't have bothered rushing to make it. We completely understand that grooming a 70-pound doodle is a big job, but having a 10am appointment that isn't finished until 8pm with one update coming 8 hours later or even an apology for the delay just isn't reasonable. We really want to support local businesses and we're not here to tell anyone how to run theirs, but if the current schedule is too packed, it might be better to take on fewer clients each day. The grooming results are excellent, but the overall experience has become too frustrating to continue

Erin then told me she would be in touch about small dog groups, if I could transport. I certainly could. That was several days ago and one email later again asking for an update. I think that non response is a deal breaker for us and given that we were coming in on current client recommendations it reflects poorly on this day care. When these folks did follow up they told us that we had been informed of a 'wait list" or should have read that on their site...We were not informed of any wait list other than for the transportation bus. We were really put off by the revised information and Erin's attitude. As a former business consultant, I think these folks have a lot to learn about courtesy and communication.

I am really terrible about asking about a pet sitter last minute and she was always available even on that one occasion I asked only two days before we were scheduled to leave due to some last minute plans. She came in advance to meet our cat and our finicky girl took to her right away. She's sweet, professional, flexible, and took fantastic care of our cat over weekends and even 10 day vacations. I am an anxious pet parent and she sent regular photos of my cat to reassure me that my Bug was in good hands. Now, with all the coronavirus craziness, she is still checking in on her pets and making sure everyone is doing okay. Also, it's worth mentioning that her pricing is more than reasonable. Hire her to care for your pet and you won't be disappointed!

Not only does Molly do a great job providing a safe and fun environment for by sweet boy--whether it be during walks, play dates, or daycare--she also works with him on some of his annoying habits (like jumping on people and stealing things) by using lots of positive reinforcement. A very long overdue update & review, but better late than never!…read more After planning a trip out of the country, my "dog sitter" backed out at the last minute. And who to the rescue?! Rich and Marissa! Sadly, there is not an overnight option. However, I was gone for 6 days, and as promised, they were there early in the morning, again in the afternoon, and yet AGAIN late night to take care of my pup. When I say "take care", I don't mean it lightly! I came home to a diary of visit entries FROM EVERY VISIT--for SIX DAYS! Clearly, the proof was in the pudding as their visits were more than just a quick walk--but love, affection, play time, and attention. MY NEIGHBORS--even those I've never met, stopped me when I came home to say how happy my dog was when outside with Rich and Marissa, big smiles, tail wagging, etc. They all attested to the dedication of time put in by Paw Pals & how fantastic they were with my Naija. And, in each documentation, they were honest & sincere, and you could tell how much they love what they do each and every minute. I never once felt as though this was a burden or tribulation for them. True professionals--and good good people. I came home to the happiest I've seen my pup since I've had her! Not one ounce of resentment that I was gone! Also, I should mention--I have a special needs (three-legged) pit-bull, who suffers from the myriad of stereotypes! Boy did Paw Pals prove each one wrong! Their expertise in ALL breeds & "thinking out of the box" with my special needs pup shone through day in and day out while I was gone. Vitamins, food, appropriate exercise and down time was documented by both them AND the nosey nellies in my neighborhood. I can't praise them enough. I can't hire them enough. I can't appreciate them enough! This is the real deal--l couldn't take care of Naija better myself! I can't wait for their next visit! Keep your calendar open! Naija is anxiously waiting!!

Donna is incredibly knowledgeable and passionate about the breed and 100% committed to their health and well-being. She makes sure her clients are fully informed and prepared to welcome their new baby, as hairless cats have very particular needs and require a high level of maintenance. She put a lot of emphasis on preventative care and tells you exactly what kind of medications, food, and other products are best for them. Her home is also impressively clean. No odors, no mess. You wouldn't even know she has cats if you didn't see them yourself, which just goes to show how well she maintains everything. And the cats themselves are just extraordinary. So full of affection, intelligence, elegance, and just pure love. It's hard for me to imagine life without one of these wonderful creatures.
