Angela and her staff have been caring for my cats for about nine years now. I first got in touch with her when my cat, Gigi, developed kidney disease and needed subcutaneous fluids on a regular basis. As a former vet tech, Angela was perfectly suited for the task of pet-sitting my little girl and making sure she got her fluids. After Gigi passed away, we adopted two kittens through Angela's cat rescue. Six years later, Maggie and Lola are doing great, and Angela and her staff are still caring for them when we travel. I would never even consider anyone else - they're pretty high-maintenance in some ways (spoiled rotten!), but we know they're being cared for when we're not there. I don't know what we'd do without her. Obviously, we have not been able to travel recently, but are hoping to do so later this year. I've been a customer of Leash Love for 10 years. I saw a poster advertising her services, made a call and have never looked back. I knew she was the dog walker for me when we met for the first time she dropped to her knees and loved on my dogs. I have had Angela, Ashley, Paul or Mark, in my house, walking my dogs and foster dogs at least 3 times a week sometimes more depending on how many fosters I have. Every time, I get a note about how the walk went which includes who my dogs hung with that day, any irregularities they may have noticed and of course the pee/poop report. I've also had some of my dogs have attend her day care program. When I have to travel I can leave my dogs with Angela confident in the knowledge that they will be well cared for in my absence. We've experienced all the highs and lows of dog ownership together over the years and there certainly have been times when Leach Love went above and beyond to help me care for my dogs such as bringing Gypsy to the vet and meeting me there (if they hadn't then it would have been at least 1.5 hours before I could have gotten home from work then getting her to the vet). Critical time was saved. Or the time Angela because of her medical experience, helped me navigate a medical issue with Ringo. The owner Angela is a former Angel Memorial vet tech who knows animals and wasn't afraid to give my diabetic cat his twice-daily insulin shot. Since I travel quite often I need someone reliable who I know can handle any situation with my diabetic Max and my crazy dominant recluse Dizzy girl cat. I've used them for a while now and have had to call on them in emergencies as well and Angela has always been available and has helped me out with my last minute requests. I cannot say enough good things about Leash Love. I've been welcoming Deb into my home for ~10 months now, since the first day Hamlet came home. She clearly loves animals (always finds a spare moment before or after the walk to visit my cats); Hamlet goes nuts for her and whatever "super friends" are visiting that day. She leaves thorough (often hysterical) notes about her visits each day. I trust her completely to be in my home without me there. I felt strongly when bringing Hamlet home (he's an olde english bulldogge) that he ought to be well socialized with other animals as a puppy, so Leash Love's group walks are a dream. Angela and her team overall has been so easy to communicate with on any scheduling changes or special requirements--like after Ham was recovering from a tough fight with pneumonia in the middle of summer. My fiance and I have been using Leash Love for our two dogs and 4 cats care for years. They have stayed with them when we've been on vacation, their home has been nothing but clean, and had employees come to the house to take care of the cats. Everyone is gentle and caring(I have two nervous dogs) and they go on doggy daycare adventures twice a week with them. They are very communicative if there is any issues, one day my older dog just didn't want to walk anymore and they had to carry him home, and from there we found out his arthritis had gotten worse. I have been using Angela and Leash Love for at least a few years. She and everyone at Leash Love are excellent. It is so nice to know that my dogs will be well taken care of whether it is for a walk or if I go away. Not only that, Angela has been great about answering questions about my girls(dogs) even when she is not working. However, she is so dedicated to helping animals that even if you call her on a weekend morning, she is probably out helping some animal or rescuing a stray cat. A couple of years ago, I went to the hospital and they told me that I needed emergency surgery. They would not let me go home to walk dogs or even to feed them. I was probably more worried about them vs. having surgery. I called Angela and she went to my house and took in the girls for several weeks while I went through process. She and her husband Paul treated the girls as if they were their own. It was such a relief! I should also add that I wouldn't trust many with my animals. When I lost one of my dogs unexpectantly last summer, she and everyone at Leash Love were so compassionate and supportive. I have been using LeashLove pet services for almost 6 years and have never been disappointed. My dog just turned 13 years old and has recently undergone surgery to remove a large cancerous mass near her liver. The doctor and I discussed if surgery would be an option considering her age, and he said she was in such "excellent physical condition" that he thought she would be fine, which in fact she was. I definitely attribute her ability to withstand the surgery and recover so quickly to the great amount of exercise she gets on her daycare with Angela and her staff. Trips to the beach, the woods, Breakheart! She has a ball! My dog lights up when either Angela or a member of her staff walks through the door to pick her up! I wish I could give more then 5 stars.....I called Leash Love after getting a recommendation from my vet (Harbor Vets) we were getting ready to go on vacation and my 18 y.o. cat began to get sick, we found out 1 week before we were leaving that he has kidney failure but the vet said with some medication and IV fluids daily he may turn around and it would buy us some more time with him, given the fact that I love my Max dearly and was not ready to put him to sleep we began treatment he began to show some improvement within 3 days so I contacted Angela of Leash Love and she came and met Max, given his condition he needed a person knowledgeable enough to give IV fluids and oral meds with TLC, we went on vacation for a week and Angela came to my house everyday, took care of feeding, medication and IV fluid administration. She sent me txt msgs about how things were going even pictures of him!!! She provided awesome care and TLC to him while we were away. I would use Angela/Leash Love again and again and again and I highly recommend her for the care of any pet. read more
