First of all, Jess is fantastic. Made me feel at ease and comfortable. She likes to go over all of the details, which was more than ok with me! Jason was my contact for the visits. Details: nearly 19 year old cat, needs 2 visits per day, no meds, prone to senility. For the first time since she's been older, and I have traveled, I came home to my home not smelling and looking like a barn. Completely trustworthy, daily check ins, reliable, happy cat and owner. I cannot say enough good things about Thoughtful Paws. Our cat is not particularly welcoming to strangers and we were nervous about leaving him with someone he didn't really know. It was all for nothing! Our initial meeting with Jess was great and Devin and our cat got along like old friends. We got regular thorough updates with great pictures and the info that we had requested. I would give the business 10 stars if it were an option. We will 100% use the service again! read more

So great full for this amazing company! We were in great need of a cat sitter when we first moved to Massachusetts and we're referred to Thoughtful Paws. Our cat is slow to warm up but has taken a great liking to Devin who has been the main person taking care of our cat! He makes an effort to make your cat feel comfortable as well as does a great job dispensing medication to our anxious boy! So happy we found this great company and will continue to use it as long as we can! read more

Thoughtful Paws is the best pet care service we have ever used and we feel very confident that our cats are being well taken care of when we go away on both short and long trips. Jessika and Devin are extremely professional and leave detailed daily messages with photos so you always know how they are doing without worry. Our cats have gotten to know them and feel very comfortable in their care. You can tell it is a passion for both of them beyond being a business. When we first started using them many years ago, Jessika came over to talk about their services and meet our cats and we felt comfortable immediately that she was trustworthy, knowledgeable and caring. We can't recommend Thoughtful Paws more highly! read more

They are the best! I've been using Thoughtful Paws for many years. My kitties love Devin and I totally trust Devin (and Jessika, but Devin is the one who visits.) Devin has been available as one of my cats' care has changed, through helping with meds, visiting her after hospitalization. Mostly, I I know when I have to leave my furbabies, they will have their physical and emotional needs met. And, I will get full reports/pictures for each visit. read more

My cat was recently diagnosed with epilepsy and I thought that her 12 hour interval of meds would mean I could never go out of town again. Either that or I would have to board her and reintegrate her with my other cat every time she came home. Fear not! The pre-meet (Jess and Devin) was great, they asked a lot of questions, and were very patient--especially when showing them how to unlock my "charming old somerville home" front doorknob--in talking about the needed care and making sure they knew where everything needed was. I felt really comfortable leaving everyone in their charge. All pets were happy, alive, and well when we got home. The email updates while out of town where much appreciated. read more

My husband and I were in dire need of a vacation but one thing always stood in our way - who was going to take care of our 3 cats, especially because boarding is out of the question for them as they all have their own special needs? A simple Yelp and Internet search turned up Thoughtful Paws, so I contacted Jessika with the dates we were looking to go away and she put me in contact with Devin. We set up a meet and greet and Devin couldn't have been nicer. He took the time to make sure that he knew where each of the litter boxes was, which food belonged to which cat, how much they got and where their toys and food/water dishes were. My nerves were put at ease to know that someone so attentive to detail would be in charge of the care of my cats. It was awesome to receive e-mail updates and photos while we were away so that we could see the cats were in excellent hands. We came home to everything the way we left it and 3 very happy and healthy looking cats. I can now rest assured that, whenever we want to go away, we have trusted people to look after the care of our cats. read more

Jess, the owner of TPawz, is fantastic and highly reliable. She is very busy but always manages to squeeze me in. I travel quite a bit and have two cats, one of whom requires an insulin shot twice a day, so she's a regular at my house. (I'm pretty sure the cats call her "Auntie Jess.") When I'm in a pinch financially, my friends and Jess split shifts, and she is great at communicating with them on timing, etc. I'm surprised and grateful that she's willing to do that rather than have an "all or nothing" policy. Jess also texts me pictures of the cats and sends email updates regularly. One of my cats is a needy snuggler, and I can tell she takes the time to give him some love. When he had a strange little wound on his back, she called me to talk about it and she and my neighbor ended up consulting on it together. How nice is that? Peace of mind is a wonderful thing when it comes to your furry kids. I can't recommend TPawz highly enough! read more

My cat was alive and happy when I got back which really is all I can ask for. What I didn't care for is that it seems like the little bugger didn't even miss me! This can be chalked up to the quality care he received while I was on vacation. Or he hates me. Probably the quality care though. My kitty is a fatty and has a special concoction / diet that he eats and this was taken care of well. My roommates kitty is a princess and you practically have to hold her paw to get her to eat, again, no problem. The litter boxes were also nice and tidy upon my return! I would recommend this service to anyone! *full disclosure* I know this person, but I stand by my review. =) read more

We have been relying on Thoughtful Paws for the past 6 months and my gratitude for Jess' company is well overdue. We have used their cat sitting service a dozen times this year and it's absolutely amazing. We've also booked them for the rest of the summer! Not only is TPaws trustworthy and reliable, but they will go out of their way to make sure that you feel confident in their ability to take care of your pets' needs while you're away. Jess returns my emails and answers my questions by the next day. There are no stupid questions or silly requests, they get your pet and all of their quirks. I also really like that TPaws will send photos or emails to let you know how your pet is doing while they're visiting. During the past 'historic' winter, Jess emailed us in advance to double check that a neighbour had a key to our apartment incase of road closure. I really appreciate that she consistently goes out of her way for her clients. I don't know what we would do without their service! Thanks Jess & Devin! read more

Jessika and Devin were great in taking care of my cat over the Thanksgiving holiday. We did an upfront interview / walk-through, and reviewed the very thorough questionnaire together. Upon arriving back after my trip, my cat was much calmer and happier than she has been after other times apart, and I credit this to Devin who stopped in everyday, and emailed me with updates. I found Thoughtful Paws to be very reasonably priced and quite professional. I'll be using them again whenever I can, and have already recommended them to friends. read more

Jess is absolutely wonderful and a cat whisperer! I've been using her for just a short time, and sure, my cats miss me when I'm gone and let me know when I get back. But they're not stressed at all when I return and are well fed, happy, and everything taken care of. They get lots of social time too if they're in the mood. So glad to have found Thoughtful Paws! read more

Jessika and her team are incredible. They have taken care of our cat multiple times and are so compassionate, detail-oriented and provide wonderful daily updates. It is so reassuring to know that our cat is in great hands. read more

Above & beyond 2x daily care of the elderly shy cat that I've lived with for 10+ years. When Devin & Jess met my cat, Devin leaned over & gently touched & spoke to her. The first day I was away, my cat came to Devin for food containing a pill he gound up- just like she does for me! He petted her & had her purring a few days later. He sent daily text updates and dealt with a beeping security alarm. The overall service, from booking detailed care at short notice to having a relaxed healthy cat to return to, was superb. read more

Omg this is a great business. WhIle we were away on vacay for about a week Devin took care of our 2 cats. Devin has a calm presence about him and sent us daily updates w/ pics. One of cats is particularly needy and has anxiety issues. When we got back both our cats were happy and relaxed and not mad at us for leaving which is a first! Thanks again Devin and Jess! read more

Jessika is wonderful! We have her to take care our kitties Bandit & Ciera since 2012 even before she launched her business. She is responsible, details and caring. She is patient and follow your instructions, which is a big plus. I notice many others do not really do that & sometimes do their own thing knowing we won't know it anyways. When we are away, Jessika will send us their pictures that's so cute. I would not choose anyone else to take care my babies except Jessika unless she is unavailable. I notice she is getting booked so fast, she is in demand! Thanks Jess. Christine & Tony read more

I found Thoughtful Paws on Yelp and have been using them for about a year. Devin visits my place twice a day to take care of my two rabbits. The bunnies love Devin. He feeds them, can administer oral medications, and cleans their litter box. He's totally trustworthy and brings in the mail. Jessika and Devin promptly respond to their emails and Devin sends me a daily update with a picture of my bunnies. He also brings in the mail! I couldn't ask for a better sitter. read more

I've used Thoughtful Paws for most of a year now, and I am very happy with their service. Jessika is very responsive, and Devin, who watches my cats, always does a great job! I recommend their service! read more

Having Jess watch our cat Reggie when we're out of town is amazing. I know I'm leaving him with someone who not only will take good care of him but who really likes him too. She even emails or texts while we're away so we know he's happy and doing well. read more

Jess and Devin have always been very accommodating with long and short notice scheduling. They also happily fed our two fussy eaters separately and waited to ensure that they didn't share food. We felt confident that they would correctly and gently administer both pills and injections when we needed it. Our cats clearly adore them. Even the shy female who usually steers clear of men. Customer relations are wonderful. I highly recommend this service! read more

Jess is the best. Her 'pet information' sheet you fill out as a new client ensures she has the appropriate info on food location, emergency contacts, and feeding and grooming needs. She has a great attitude and writes helpful daily updates on the visits. Life saver!! read more

We switched to Thoughtful Paws after we had an incident with our previous pet sitter forgetting to feed our guinea pigs when we were gone for a weekend. The guinea pigs were okay, but needless to say we were quite upset and wanted to be extra-careful when selecting a new sitter. We have been very pleased with Thoughtful Paws' professionalism and organization, from the in-person interview to the level of detail they wanted about checkins. Do you want a checkin daily or after every feeding? Via text or e-mail? Do you want a photo included? Etc. They had no problem with our specific feeding guidelines, and we received checkins promptly every day in the format we had requested. read more

There are no words for how wonderful Jess and her team are! They have taken care of our cats on numerous occasions and every time they have been wonderful. They send regular updates on how they are doing and plenty of pictures. It makes going on vacation so much easier knowing they are being well taken care of. One of our kitties was super shy around strangers but Jess somehow got her comfortable with her right away. We moved out of the area in January and we haven't been able to find anyone who is even close to how good Jess was. We miss her! read more

I've been using Thoughtful Paws now for the past year, and Jessika is just terrific. My cat really craves attention when I'm away, and I'd tried a previous petsitter where I could tell she didn't get much attention because she was very needy when I returned. When Jessika takes care of my cat, I come back and she acts like I was only gone for a few hours. I completely trust Jessika and Thoughtful Paws and recommend this service highly! read more

Somehow I stumbled on this business at the right time, not too long after they had gotten started. And look, now Jess is number one on Yelp. Well, she and her team should be. Jess and everyone else I've met at Thoughtful Paws are adorable people you immediately trust. They clearly actually love cats. But beyond this, what makes this business really exceptional, is their responsiveness, reliability, and professionalism. Jess is a great communicator when scheduling or settling bills. I always know if she will be available or not (book in advance folks- I have finally trained myself to do that!). She's helped me out in stressful holiday or last minute situations when my plans changed at the drop of a hat. Finally, the biggest reason I love Thoughtful Paws, is that my cat, Timmy, is always more than content when I come home from a trip away. I really think they keep him happy. That's amazing! Having been through a colorful assortment of cat sitters before I found these guys, I can vouch for the difference. read more

Jess is great! It's so nice to go out of town and know that Jess will take such good care of our cat! She even sends pictures and updates while we are away. She also has been extremely flexible with last-minute requests, which is amazing! read more

Thoughtful Paws is an excellent option for cat sitting. One of their sitters, Devin, looked after my cat during many of my trips out of town. He was always professional and kept me informed of how my cat was doing. They went above and beyond to find out what toys my cat likes, if he had any special needs, etc. I highly recommend them! read more

If you are reading this it is because you love your pet and you want to make sure that you have the best possible partners for their care. I have two cats, one with diabetes who needs an injection twice a day and one who is elderly and temperamental. I only trust Thoughtful Paws with my cats. In fact, Devin saved my cat's life by recognizing that he was in distress, letting me know immediately, and then rushing him to the ER where they were able to stabilize him. If it had been anyone else, they might have missed the subtle signs that something was wrong. I can't recommend Thoughtful Paws enough. I trust them implicitly and am grateful to their team for their consistent, caring, and compassionate presence in my cats' lives. read more
