Our dog freshly groomed

Robin's Nest is the best! Our 15 and a half year old 47lb Beagle Pit Bull mix has been getting groomed here for most of her life. The owners are so friendly and do the best job of grooming our dog while also providing a safe environment for all the dogs. The last time we brought our dog in, she was shedding excessively and mangy despite our brushing her daily. When I picked her up, she looked amazing! They worked so hard to get rid of all her extra hair. Our dog is always happy to be at Robin's. The owners are accommodating and make time for her and always do a thorough job. I wouldn't take my dog to any other groomer.

Happy puppy with perfect little paws! Thanks Robin!

My 1 year old goldendoodle was very nervous due to an issue with a previous groomer. I brought him to Robin and she was extremely communicative with me about his behavior and spent extra time with him to make sure he'd feel comfortable. She did a fantastic job on his haircut and was so kind to explain to me why he might be nervous and what we can do moving forward. I was so so appreciative of her taking extra care with him as well as being so kind to me. She gave him the best cut and I will definitely be back. Highly recommend.

I've never been so inclined to write a bad review on anything. In my opinion, you don't have a particular skill set, you agree to do things, and you especially shouldn't charge for them. I took my 5-month old Bernedoodle to Robin's Nest for a puppy trim. I was very specific in what I wanted and the owner made it clear that she not only understood, but had worked with Bernedoodles in the past. My Bernedoodle walked out of the salon distraught, looking like a terrier and losing his once adorable puppy face. Hours later, I receive a text that when cutting behind his ears, he got upset. That's something that should've been told to me before picking him up. I'm nervous that something worse happened as he refused to eat food for the first time in his life. After spending a few hours with him, I realized that she didn't listen to a thing I asked for. I texted them asking them to correct his face as it looked like he had a handlebar mustache. They agreed to squeeze him in not the next day, but the day after. Upon arrival to his touch-up appointment, I was greeted by the owner's son who told me that owner was "extremely busy" and was unable to talk to me in-person. I was rather disappointed because I wanted to show her a photo of how I wanted his "handlebar mustache" trimmed. If you can't accommodate an appointment to fix your own mistakes, don't make the appointment. I, despite my instincts telling me not to, sent him in and texted a photo to the owners husband. My puppy walked out looking somehow worse. It's kind of sad because I gave them an opportunity to fix their mistake and he came out looking even worse. Luckily, my family has a good sense of humor and we can joke about our bernedoodle getting a haircut from Edward Scissorhands. I wouldn't recommend this pet "salon" to my worse enemy. Worst of all, they showed absolutely no remorse and didn't apologize at all.

Beautiful grooming by Robin's Nest!

The Clip Joint - She did such a lovely job with her puppy coat

They treated her with care and efficiency and kept her calm even as 5 other dogs barked at her. From the way they interacted with the dogs, it was clear they have a bunch of regulars in the neighborhood. No parking lot, but street parking was insanely easy to find. I'll be coming back in 6-8 weeks ;).

It would be one thing if we asked to have our cat shaved like this but this was not the intention. It would be another thing if the cut looked professionally don't but it's uneven and quite terrible. My cats arms and legs have fur blotches and his tail looks ridiculous. A few of his nipples were very irritated and pink. The worst part is I know my cat and I know he must not have been comfortable during this process and that has been haunting me. My mother didn't request a refund because she's a nice person - if it were me. I would've requested a lot more. I've never seen a cat cut like this. It's not cute. When we called back to see what happened someone on the line said "well we can't put the fur back on" Finally, I looked through your photos and all the cats seem to have pretty normal looking trims - instead of offensive shaves. Not sure if my cat was a guinea pig for a new employee or what the case was but unsatisfied is an understatement. Do better. Not recommended.

Our Leonberger puppy has been going every afternoon for nearly 3 months: it has been terrific for him, and he comes home happy, tired, and very well-socialized with other dogs. In fact, I'd say their small facility (they say 400sf) is actually a plus, because it promotes learning respectful behavior with other dogs in close quarters. However, it means they can't provide flat-out running, so some dogs (greyhounds, wolfhounds, etc.) will still need supplemental off-leash time at one of the local dog parks. But that's where the care the owners take with screening is so helpful. The training classes use positive reinforcement, and are small but varied (kindergarten, beginning obedience, beginning agility, CGC, therapy dog, etc.), although handlers looking to move on in competition-level obedience and agility will need to graduate to one of the large local clubs. We've recommended them to several local dog-owners, who have also become satisfied customers. Very highly recommended. They have other services as well: dogwalking in your home, transport to/from daycare, grooming, and a small but well-stocked shop with food, treats, toys, etc.

I can't speak to the quality of service, so this review is a description of my failed attempt to…read morebook an appointment. I went to their web site four days ago and filled out their new customer questionnaire so I could book a grooming appointment. According to their web site, this is the only way to book. As of today, I still haven't received a response, which is disappointing because my dog really needs a groom. So I guess if you're a new client, you're out of luck.
