The owner and his staff are so nice! They treat the dogs wonderfully and give them such a great cut. I've been bringing my dogs to Pooch Parlour for eight years to get groomed and absolutely love how they look and smell when they come home! Highly recommend. read more

My vet couldn't cut my dogs nails but she didn't have him up on a grooming table. I came here and it was easy peasy. I figured it was just bc of the table. I then went to a closer groomer and they were not able to cut his nails bc he thrashed around. I went here and they had 2 people work on him. They did it again. Easy peasy. I am so thankful for them. read more

I have a 13 year old Brussels Griffen, Madge. She is my best friend in the entire world. About 2 years ago she was attacked by a larger dog and as lost an eye as a result. Although I always took her grooming seriously, I now am such an incredible stickler for groomers that pay very close attention to detail, because I want my Madge to feel beautiful after a haircut. Marcio is a very talented groomer. He listened to my feedback regarding what kind of cut I wanted / how I wanted to the area where her eye used to be to be trimmed / styled, etc. I could not be more happy with the job he and his team did. Not only did he respond to me initial request for an estimate, but also did provide me with a grooming appointment time and day within 24 hours from reaching out. I will definitely be returning to Pooch Parlour. read more

I have been taking my Golden Retriever to Pooch Parlour over a year now and have been very happy. The owners have been responsive, accommodating, and really listen to what I want done. There will be several dogs all together in the shop so expect your dog (if friendly) to have a mini-playdate while they are there. My dog seems happy to go there and looks great after he leaves. read more

Pooch Parlour: Horrible Customer Service. Sloppy Grooming. Poor Management Dog owners know how difficult it is to find a good groomer, or even get an appointment for one. That shortage in the market gives space for unprofessional pet groomers like Pooch Parlour to stay. The lady -who introduces herself as co-owner- is shockingly unpleasant and outrageously rude, not only to customers but also to her own son who works there. If only that, but the grooming was a total disaster. It took a ridiculous 4 hours to groom a puppy! You'd hope for a good job after 4-hour grooming but it was not the case here, and not for $80. The coat was totally untouched, 2 legs were trimmed and 2 legs were not, hair around the face was uneven and even dirty... The puppy was so fearful with heart pounding when we picked her up and continued for the rest of the day. These guys are totally over their heads. They don't seem to understand that their mismanagement/incompetence is why it takes 4 hours to do a sloppy grooming job on a small dog! Stay away from this place. read more

We brought our dog Bentley here for a cut today and they did an AMAZING job. We recently rescued Bentley and he desperately needed to be groomed. I was so lucky the Pooch Parlour squeezed him since many places aren't even taking new clients right now due to Covid. All the employees are super friendly and welcoming. We already made our next appointment! read more

They did a beautiful job! A very nice staff, very clean salon, and clean and precise groom!!! I'll only say that this place is DEFINITELY on the higher end of pricing from the grooming places we've been to (which we found our after the fact) so I'd discuss pricing up front to make sure you're comfortable with it. Although I will say worth it for the wonderful job! Our girl is sparkling! read more

I could not be any happier with the service here! It had been a little while since Noodle had been groomed, and he was matted pretty badly. Most places I have gone to in the past always just completely shave him, but they were able to leave him with some hair! The staff is super sweet and friendly and they clearly take very good care of the animals while they are in their care. After his haircut, Noodle was even hanging out with the other friendly dogs that were waiting to be picked up, instead of sitting in a crate. It was my first time here and I can't wait to bring Noodle back. read more

Marcio did an AMAZING job on both my Bernese and my golden. It was the best grooming they have ever received! They looked GORGEOUS when I picked them up. Their coats were amazingly soft and there wasn't any loose fur on my Berner.. completely deshed and brushed through! My golden is a Tom boy and loves to get dirty and I'd never seen her so clean! She looked beautiful. After trying many different groomers, we have finally found the best one and will definitely be back! Thank you to Marcio and his wonderful mother! read more

We took our pup for his first proper grooming, and they were so kind to him. He came back looking great, and we had a full report on how he did through his afternoon stay. Some places don't really know how to do a teddy bear labradoodle cut, but the team did a great job! read more

Marcio did such a nice job with our golden-doodle puppy, Cider. This was her first groom and she did great! I was a little nervous since this was her first time and not sure what to expect, but I knew immediately she would be in good hands based on how friendly and reassuring Marcio was when we arrived. She was done within about 4 hours, and cheerfully playing with the other dogs when I went to pick her up. She looks and smells amazing, even several days after her groom. We will definitely be coming back regularly! Thank you Marcio and crew! read more

We have a Bichon-terrier mix who has rarely gotten a grooming that was what we, or the dog, was happy with. His coat is thick and curly, and most of the time, the groomer we have been using trims him close to the skin. It's not just a matter of aesthetics. He has (as I understand is common with Bichons) a number of warty growths, a few of which are invariably nicked in the grooming process, causing him discomfort for a couple of weeks. Other places we have tried haven't been much better. Also, we don't want the pouffy show dog look, instructions which some groomers seem to ignore. So we looked at Yelp reviews, and Pooch Parlour seemed to have a number of customers praising them for their handling of situations similar to ours. We decided to give them a try. Marcio listened carefully to our concerns, and said he thought he could help us. Well, he did. And Pepper got probably the best haircut we can remember. Somehow Marcio was able to leave enough fur so that the skin problems were avoided, (and also our concerns were allayed that there wouldn't be enough insulation from the cold for the remaining winter weather). Needless to say, a five star review. read more

I had my labradoodle's hair cut at Pooch Parlour for the first time today, and I won't go anywhere else from now on! They did such a good job and gave my pup lots of love. The other places I've had his haircut always made him look uneven and awkward. Today he left looking very handsome! read more

To echo Jenny's review, they care here, they're compassionate, organized and best of all they're also fairly priced. This place deserves the reputation it has and then some. I wish I remembered the owner's name that I met with but she was so unbelievably caring and genuine when I dropped our Australian Shepard off for his first grooming there. He is very anxious about going to the groomers but she made sure he was comfortable and asked for input on what we wanted done and listened to every word I said. He came out smelling as clean as he ever has and looking as fantastic as ever and everything we asked to be done was done perfectly just as we'd hoped. We will be back here often, this business is one that truly deserves the praise they get. read more

I am so happy with the way that Henry was groomed at the Pooch Parlour. Henry is a labradoodle and many groomers just shave him and tell me that it was because he was matted. Marcio did a fantastic job with our Goldendoodle Dudley's first groomer visit. He was very friendly and informed us how they usually do a puppy's first visit. Long over due. I've been taking my dogs here for a few years now and I'm so happy with them. They are great people and they really care about animals and safety while they are in their care. I HATE leaving my dogs with anyone. I don't even put them in a kennel when I go away, my parents or friends watch them. But I feel safe leaving them even for a few hours with pooch parlor. They always look amazing after their groom. One of my dogs hates being separated from me and will always hate any groomer but my other dogs actually RACES to get inside. He loves this place. The staff is sweet and friendly. Marcio speaks with a kind gentle voice. I wouldn't go anywhere else. read more

We took our 3 month old labradoodle puppy here for her first ever grooming. The staff was so friendly and great to work with. They said they would start slow, bathe and trim, and then only do a full hair cut if she was handling it well. We didn't want to traumatize her on her first grooming session! Sure enough, they were so wonderful she ended up being comfortable and getting her full cut. She came out looking absolutely fabulous and in a great mood. I searched and searched for a reliable kind groomer for first experience of our 4 month old Havanese. Reviews and recommendations were all over the place ...but Pooch Parlour had consistently excellent Yelp reviews and was recommended by a neighbor who has 2 Havs. We are thrilled with today's experience ! They accommodated an appointment within a week, told me to be ready to pick her up in about 2 hours ( and it was exactly 2 hours) and she was chilled and happy ( not easy for this girl) when I picked her up. Our pup is camera ready and the owner was delightful to deal with and gave me very helpful tips to keep our girl in shape with a healthy untangled coat. Since Susy came home at 12 weeks old she didn't like her paws being touched. 6 years latter that didn't change and grooming became almost impossible. She would come home so stressed and would sleep for days at a time and I just knew she was feeling like that due to her nails being trimmed. One of the places I took her to told me "no groomer would cut her nail so I should take her to a vet so they can sedate her and then they could cut her nails" I was really mad and of course I didn't have the money to spend and I would not put her health in jeopardy every time she needed her nails trimmed. When I walked in to the Pooch Parlour and told Nair and Marcio about my problem they told me to not worry that they would approach her slowly and in various grooming sessions they would be able to make her comfortable and cut her nails. Said and done, 3 years latter I can not imagine taking Susy to another place. They are caring and patient and just simply amazing. Susy comes home smelling good with her nails trimmed and not stressed out at all. Definitely recommend them! read more

I have taken my puppy Lulu here twice now and both times have left very pleased! The pooch parlour is most definitely my and my my husbands favorite place to get her groomed. We have tried other places and this is the best! The prices are on par with other groomers around, but this place is awesome. Lulu leaves smelling fresh and looking adorable! Lulu really likes coming here and always finds friends to play with and i find they have cute accessories for the pups too. The owner is very nice, and his mother is one of the groomers. I am so happy we found Pooch Parlour! Marcio is not just a groomer, he is a great dog's hair stylist!! My puppy always comes out with the perfect teddy bear labradoodle look. This last time she was getting matted and Marcio took extra time to get those knots out without having to cut much hair. Every time we get there, Nair welcomes us with a great smile and she always talks to my puppy first, trying her best in making her feel comfortable.
