History
Established in 2020.
We are a group of dog walkers who value your pup's dignity, happiness and health. That's why our Adventure Guides and certified-bound dog trainers use positive reinforcement based methods on our dog hikes and dog walks. We strive to teach both our clients and our pups these techniques in order to help you develop a stronger bond and build clearer communication with your pup. By using this method on our outings we're able to provide both physical and mental stimulation for your pup.
We are a founding team of three who want to bring the power of cooperative's to the pet industry. As a cooperative, we believe in compassion for both your pets and for our workers. We further strive to create a work environment that puts the worker first, so that our Adventure Guides can give your pets the undivided attention, expertise, and love they deserve. Our unique, horizontally-structured cooperative empowers our workers with democratic control of their workplace, a thriving wage, and benefits.
Meet the Business Owner: Anne, Tessa, Angie D.
You're reading that right! There are 3 owners!
Anne, Tessa, and Angie all own the company as worker-owners. Anne is pictured. Our full profiles on our website.
Tessa:
Hi all, I've spent the last seven years working with dogs in a myriad of ways: as a volunteer at shelters, and as a dog walker and hiker. One of my favorite things about working with dogs is seeing how they grow and helping them to be the best pup they can be!
Anne:
I've been hanging out and working with dogs since I was a wee pup myself! I have 3 years experience working as a dog walker and off-leash hiker in the area, and 1 year as a trainer. Being a part of giving many different pups the lives they deserve brings me great joy.
Angie:
I became a dog training instructor in 2014, and started dog walking began in 2017, and was bit by the walker bug. I found my dream job in combining the two. I love exploring with the pups, rain or shine, and working with owners and pups together
