DO NOT hire this company or anyone they are affiliated with North American movers to move your home…read more. They promised me that someone would call the day before the move to let me know what time they plan to arrive. That never happened. Dave the snake oil salesman promised me that they would disassemble my furniture no problem because they hire expert furniture people to disassemble & reassemble furniture. However, after all my furniture was removed from my home, they told me I would need to pay an additional $420 to have my armoire reassembled in my new home. My contract states that the move would take between 3 - 7 days. On day 8, not only did I not receive my furniture & belongings, but it was Saturday and the offices are closed and I have no one to talk to or get answers from. I called & texted Dave but he never returned any of my calls or messages. I spoke with someone at First Class movers who were hired to unload the truck at my new home, and they said they would look into it, but they too never called back. If this is the way North American & Arnoff treats their customers, I would think twice about hiring them to do a move. I wish I knew sooner, but I thought with 100 years in the moving business they would be a reputable company to do business with, boy was I wrong.

I called corporate to schedule my delivery for Saturday, for a 2 month rental, and…read morebecause I have a dumpster in my driveway, I specified for it not to block the dumpster, but to go on the opposite side of the driveway. I was told this wouldn't be a problem, but when the local driver called to confirm the morning of, to just reiterate to that driver. Well, Saturday morning came and when I went up to the house, it was on the wrong side of the driveway and I never got a call about when it would be delivered. I immediately called corporate to complain and get it re-located, and was told they'd email the local office, but there wasn't much more they could do. I was also told by corporate that the phone number on my account was written down wrong, so while it IS possible the driver tried to call, I never got it. Fast forward to this am (Monday) and I got a call promptly at 8am by the new driver Eric, with his trainee Noel, and was told they'd gotten the message for the resposition and would be right over. They showed up promptly and got it moved to the correct side of the driveway. The resolution to the problem was pretty quick, and the local team made good on fixing it. I just am not sure who dropped the ball in the first place, but am very grateful to Eric for getting the job done this am and getting it moved so I don't get double billed for longer on the dumpster.
