He knows this bad review is coming, horrible treatment from this shop. Treats me like a villain over the phone - will not take payment over the phone because I am a "new" customer. How much hassle are you going to give your new customers? Never heard of such treatment. Will never return, as I now have to spend significant more $$ to have ANOTHER shop fix what they caused.

The installation took about 3 hours but they only charged me for one and the price installed for the hitch with wiring was reasonable. When the vehicle was on the ramp my abs light was on. The tech explained to me that u haul has a insurance policy and they would cover it if the vehicle had to go back to VW. Fortunately when they took the vehicle off the ramp the light went out. Even though I didn't need it I was put at ease that they would cover it if there ever was a problem. I would highly recommend.

I ask for the earliest appointment because time was limited and it was going to rain that day and I had to meet Central Hudson at 10. I was slightly confused when kyle scheduled me at 9AM because google said the store wont open until 9:30. It was late, around 6PM, and i had all morning to sort it out. I called back at 8:30am to confirm I can get the truck at 9am. Danielle in Montgomery was unsure and called Amanda at Fishkill to confirm yes, i could get the truck at 9am. relieved, i went to the store at 9am...only to be met with a huge "closed" sign on the door. I called Danielle back to see what changed and she said she would figure it out and call me back. that never happened, and the guy inside at LifeStorage informed me they never open at 9 on weekdays and they consistently have a problem when Penske schedules truck rentals half hour before they open. so i missed my appointment with Central Hudson, but I did beat the rain. Please fix your scheduling system! otherwise, the truck was okay, ran fine. just disappointed, i expected better service.

Once I did call, customer service motto there should have been "how may I NOT help you." They put in a call to the "Call Center" which I was told would probably not get back to me for two hours. They were right. They never even got back to me in 3 hours. I had to make several calls and had to leave without my son's belongings.
