I scheduled a pick up a few days later and they came and took our 14 boxes from the basement without a problem and were so kind and courteous. 3 days later I got the certificate that all our documents had been shredded. My boss and I are so happy with how swiftly this process was and how affordable it was. We will definitely be using them in the future! Thank you!

I flew up to NY, just to have this paper work shredded at a house I am selling. They not only no-showed, (ironically due to a paper work issue.. I guess THAT they did shred) but they made no real effort to make my job a priority to get the work done after admitting they screwed up. Mistakes are made.. but when you make one, the company must go out of their way to rectify it. They did not. And they didn't even bother to call back when they claimed they would get with the service department after I called twice. Do your self a favor.. use another company.. they charge about the same and the other one at least called back in a timely manner.

I hired Shred-it to come to my law office and shred a large amount of confidential documents. Prior to their arrival, I had received an online quote for their services, which I agreed to. However, when I received their bill, I was shocked to find that they had charged me significantly more than the quoted amount - more than $100.00 in additional fees! When I contacted Shred-it to inquire about the additional charges, they provided vague and unsatisfactory explanations that did not adequately justify the increase in cost. I feel that I was misled by their initial quote and that their billing practices are unethical and misleading. This is especially true where they already are aware of what these fees are in advance - which in my opinion is fraudulent.
