Be smart and go elsewhere. Never got a time slot by email, as promised. Never was able to reach anyone by phone or email; calls were routed to offices in other states, with no answers provided. Went to another company at a much lower fee. read more

Made an appointment a week in advance for today, March 4. Was told by Alba Cardinali, who took my call, that I would be contacted with a time frame the night before. I was not contacted. I started calling the number on my confirmation this morning and the calls kept getting routed to the New Jersey location. They couldn't tell me anything and said the people in the Elmsford office probably weren't in yet and the calls were defaulted to them. Got someone to give me a direct number to Elmsford and it still was picked up from someone in New Jersey. Finally talked to Michaela in Elmsford who said I was on the schedule and they would be there between 12 and 3. Took me an hour to find that out. Of course no one showed up or called. I called at 4:15 (of course someone in New Jersey answered again) but finally after about 5 separate calls and attempts to transfer me where I was hung up on, someone was nice enough to stay on the phone until he could track down and transfer me the Michaela. She said they were running late but not to worry, they would still be there. Of course no one showed up. Seriously doubt they will even call to reschedule. These people have no qualms wasting your time, so don't waste yours with them. read more

I made an appointment for Pro Shred to come to my home on a Thursday. They couldn't pin down a time that the truck would arrive until Thursday morning, so I blocked off the whole day. I received an email confirmation and spoke to a gentleman Thursday morning who said the truck would arrive between 3 and 5 PM and that they would call an hour prior to arrival. Nobody called, nobody came. I called them. The gentleman said the truck broke down. They couldn't even give me an alternate date until the following Monday. On Monday morning, the gentleman gave me a choice of Wednesday or Thursday. I opted for Wednesday. I received an email confirmation. The gentleman couldn't pin down a time until Wednesday morning, so, I had to block out the whole day. Again. On Wednesday morning, the gentleman sent me an email asking if I could do it on Thursday. I called him and told him the answer was no and he said someone would be coming that day, Wednesday, between 2:00 and 4:00 in the afternoon and that someone would call an hour in advance. No one came, no one called. At minutes after 4 o'clock, I called and got no explanation, but, I told them I was going to find another company, and that I was finished with them. Wouldn't you know it, the next day, after I made other arrangements, I received a call from their truck driver telling me they were at my home. Well, I wasn't around, and I'd made other arrangements. I can't make this stuff up. This company is irresponsible, lies and waste your time. If I could give them a negative number of stars, I would. I would never do business with them again. read more

Dropped off my shredding in Elmsford in a safe and secure outdoor environment. Process went quick and easy and Steve was both comfortable to deal with and professional. Would certainly use again. read more

This is an UNPROFESSIONAL company I made an appointment, had a long conversation about the process and payment, etc. Called the day of scheduled service and was told they did not have me on the schedule, no appointment was made and no effort to help me. Terrible service - complete waste of my time. Do NOT work with this people. read more

I made an appointment and received e-mail confirmation. Called the day of scheduled service and was told they did not have me on the schedule, no appointment was made. E-mailed confirmation from them was pretty useless and I scheduled my day around it. Terrible service - complete waste of my time. read more

I had three 30 gallon plastic garbage cans filled with old records. They perfectly filled one of their 93 gallon containers. They said that they'd be at my place between 3 and 5, and they showed up right at 3. All in all a seamless experience. read more

Great service, easy peezy, reasonably priced. Don't waste your time shredding 16 at a time.

Our management office has found Proshred to be an excellent service. We requested an appointment as quickly as possible and they arrived the next day to shred an enormous amount of sensitive office documents. I would highly recommend them for bulk shredding services as their 96 gallon drums will handle any size job in moments. Paul Campagna, our service technician, was courteous and very friendly. We have been using their service for years and couldn't be happier. read more

THESE GUYS ARE SCARY! I used ProShred to shred boxes of my old financial documents recently and the guys that showed up to do the shredding appeared to be a pair of crooks. I did not want to leave my documents unattended, but these guys worked me endlessly to try to get me away from the boxes during the shredding process. During the shredding they each asked separately to enter the house to use the bathroom, and then later for a glass of water. Before driving away I found one of the guys walking around my back yard. CREEPY. read more

Waited the entire day for them (since they said they would come between 10 and 3) and they never showed up. Called at 3 to see what was up, was told they would call back and they didn't. FInally at 5 I called again and they said they would not be coming. They want to reschedule! Can't waste another day. Will look for another company. read more

This was the first time my company was using these services and it was phenomenal! The customer service is wonderful and the person who came to do the shredding itself was very professional. Definitely going to recommend to my colleagues from other businesses. read more
