We were scheduled for a very fast but difficult move, from a large 3rd floor walk up apartment with very tight stairs-only access in Central Manhattan to a large house in Harrison, an hour north of the city. Throw in a bit of winter dark, cold and snow for good measure and it was all shaping up to be the move from hell - we were dreading it. Between our very big vinyl and artwork collections it was stressful just thinking about it. Luckily we were referred to Arrow and were so relieved to meet Sheldon, who made the whole situation sound manageable. He's extremely understanding of you saying how YOU want things to go - we wanted to pack a lot ourselves and he gave us realistic parameters for box size and weight, and talked us through a plan that his team would execute - and did with incredible care and professionalism. He inspired confidence before we even got going, and was always available to return calls or texts. The team were amazing - seriously, we've moved multiple times around the world and encountered all the mover stereotypes there are - the clumsy, the surly, the lazy, the crazy - this team had none of those guys - they were INCREDIBLE. They - like Sheldon - listened to anything I asked or wanted done, truly acted like a team, handled my artwork as if it was their own, and never complained about the stairs, the cold, or the millions of boxes we had. We're very grateful to Danny, Dom and Jeff who were with us both days, Michael (the singer!) and Javon who were with us for the first (and worst) day, Jose who wrapped and transported my art PERFECTLY, and Joe, who ran his team like a true star & who was friendly throughout the whole stressful day. Arrow is a little more expensive than some others - but we don't regret a cent. No breakages. No hassles from our (awful) Super about the movers. No damage to either building. Just such a relief. I'm only sorry that I'm late posting this up for the team and Sheldon because we've had no internet! Use them. And believe Sheldon when he tells you to breathe! Loooool! read more

This is the first time I've used Arrow. My company of 25 people moved after being in the same location for 25 years. Jimmy gave us a very good quote after coming to our existing office to survey what needed to be done. He sat with me to go over all the details of what to expect. He was very thorough and organized with the details of what needed to be done. The eco-crates and tech bags were great. The sticker system that they use is amazing. It was so easy for me to explain to my staff how to pack because of Arrow and their expertise. Artie was very helpful in setting up delivery of the materials and offering assistance whenever I needed it. On moving day, Matt and his team were unbelievable!!! They had us packed up in less than 2 hours. They were very careful with our furniture and took extra time with delicate items to make sure they were safe. They had the unloading part moving like clockwork and that was done in less than 2 hours too. Their sticker and placard system was great. The guys knew exactly where to put everything with little input from me. They even built us some extra desk pieces with leftover miscellaneous furniture we had. I did drive them crazy with moving desks around but they were very professional and courteous throughout the whole process. They made this move stress free for my company. That day was the easiest part of the whole relocation for our office. I highly recommend Arrow for your moving needs. read more

In my latest move to a new apartment, I was required to use professional movers. I had no idea which moving company to use, so a friend of mine recommended that I use Arrow. I'm glad I listened. I never used professional movers before, so I was surprised when their sales rep, Sheldon, asked to come to my apartment to gauge what resources would be needed for the move. Not only did he survey what was in my apartment and the building layout, he also went to the new building to survey that layout. He prepared an estimate which was spot on. He gave me advice on how to pack my boxes to make my move efficient. The day of the move, which was Xmas Eve, he came with the crew to make sure the move stated smoothly. The crew leader, Joe, was professional and experienced and the crew could not have been better. They had plenty of bins, dollies, and supplies with them. They had me moved within 5 hours from point to point. Although they mostly deal with business clients, they do take on residential clients, so call them to see if they can schedule you. I'm glad I did. read more

Rich and team did a wonderful job with our move and I highly recommend them to anyone who actually cares about their stuff and the process of moving. When we did a walk through he was very safe and pointed out some things that would make our move easier and less stressful. We had a few items that we needed to get rid of so we had a simple system of color coding our furniture that made it very easy...and in the end Arrow was happy to dispose of anything we could not relocate. The day of the move, they were professional, fast and above all neat. No breaks and handled all our fragile boxes with extra care. They organized everything well to make the unpacking easy and the day was overall really stress free. Make sure you don't cheap out on moving, go with a very trusted, safe and professional company like Arrow. They will stand by their work and take all the extra care you need to make the move day less stressful. We are a family so moving is never easy with all the "stuff". read more

Arrow went above and beyond to make sure our company employees were prepared for the Big Move Day. They are experts at getting everyone to purge unwanted move items and they made sure to hold our inexperienced hands every step of the way. We had add on services along the way which were handled by Arrow's team with a smile and Rich was always available to troubleshoot any unforeseen problems. I felt so comfortable and supported - which was so important to me as the lead coordinator of the move. Our owners expected me to make sure the move happened without interruption of business time and Rich understood the importance of this expectation and took that burden off my hands. I highly recommend this company. They will make YOU look good to your bosses. read more

My family was moved by Arrow to our temporary housing situation and they helped us with everything. From moving our piano to moving our couches and delicate items they helped us so much! We even just used them for our family business and they did a marvelous job. They helped with shredding, disposal and moving some big pieces we could not do ourselves. These guys are true commercial movers who know the business well. I want to specifically thank the mover, Matt and salesman Jimmy & Sheldon for their help on BOTH of these stress free moves. Using them again now for another project and can't wait to have them keep being our movers and shredders for years to come! Thanks Arrow! read more

I used this company to move from Rockville Centre to Long Beach and couldn't have been more pleased with them. They went out of their way to take great care of me...in fact, their workers cared more about my furniture and new home than I did. My huge desk wasn't going to fit through the door to my home office and the movers gave me options, including removing the door frame or pushing it through with the knowledge it might scratch the desk or frame. I pushed it through myself with juts a little damage...they truly cared about my satisfaction. To me, they're the only movers in the NYC area! Highly recommend. read more

Arrow Transfer & Storage is superb! We had a complicated multi location move and everything went smoothly and fast. Their team is extremely professional from the initial phone calls and quotes to the actual movers. I highly recommend if you have an upcoming move to contact them. They also do shredding and storage if you have those needs. Thank you Artie, Sheldon, Frank and the guys for everything. Best, Ace Marketing & Promotions read more

Arrow Transfer & Storage is great. I recently used them to move furniture within my house and they were professional, careful and very helpful and kind. We have also used them for business purposes. For over a year we did construction in our office and used them every 3 months to do a major move each and every time. I would recommend Arrow over and over again. Love them! read more

My company was moving offices and our original movers backed out the week before the move. Thankfully when I called Arrow, Jimmy came and gave us an estimate that day and we booked the move. My boss said that the move was flawless and there were no issues on either end. I couldn't be more grateful for such an easy moving process. read more

Arrow moved us from Manhattan to Nassau County, our 4th business move, by far the biggest and the first with them. Their work was excellent. Everything done on time. Nothing lost or broken. But most important Arrow was flexible and able to change plans on a dime when the situation called for it. read more
