Exceptionally tasty and seemingly authentic Thai food. Affordable prices at dinner time and even more affordable prices for lunch. Generous servings, fast service all in an environment that caters more to take away than anything else. Great hours of operation too! This is a food truck with plenty of parking. Four of us showed up hungry, thirsty and bedraggled after a long day of adventuring in the wilderness areas south and west of Mountain Home on a Sunday night after 8pm. We were greeted by a patient lady who was eager to help us order whatever we wanted. Thai iced teas were consumed while we waited briefly for our food to be ready. Numerous vehicles pulled up or pulled away over the course of our time here. The nice lady who helped us would bring food out to the folks waiting in their cars as it became ready. No one seemed impatient or like they had been waiting a long time. We ate in the parking lot and were even brought a few chairs, and bottles of water as we ate from the tailgate of our pickup truck. Serving sizes were very generous. Our bellies were full and we all felt satisfied after the meal. Everyone in our group ordered something different and each meal looked and tasted great. Mountain Home, Idaho--not necessarily where one would expect to find authentic and delicious Thai food. A pleasant surprise for those traveling through or for locals who want to spice things up from the long list of chain restaurants that are available. Try this place and you'll want to come back again!

Spring rolls were good, but peanut sauce was more sweet than creamy peanut flavor that I am used to. Overall, food was delicious and filling. Service was quick and friendly. Outside tables are nice, but weather was 102 degrees. Had to wait in the car with A/C.

I am visiting from Seattle and wanted some Thai and/or Laotian food. Googled and this place came up…read morewith pretty good reviews and photos looked good on yelp. I made an online order and my food was ready on time. Inside was nicely decorated and clean. I only got one dish, which was Kor Moo Yang (Thai Pork Steak). The pork had a bit too much fat. Also, the portions for the meat and rice were small for the price. It was okay overall. I would be willing to try a different dish.

Meet my friend for lunch today. He suggested Maggie Thai Kitchen. The last time I was here, I got…read moretheir pad Thai with tofu. The flavoring of the pad Thai and the noodles were great! I didn't really care for the tofu they used. But I came in today with an open mind. It was a pretty chill afternoon when I got there so I was sat quickly. I waited for my friend to show up so I just hung out and looked over the menu. For lunch I decided to order the Tom Yum soup. It was colder today so something hot would be nice. My friend ordered a couple things for lunch. I remember he did order the crying tiger ( I believe that that is what it was called). My soup came out in a beautifully decorated bowl. It was sitting on top of a burner but the burner wasn't lit which confused me. It would have been nice if the burner would have been lit to keep the soup hot. The soup was flavorful but really sweet. I didn't taste much sour or heat to the soup. You get a hearty amount of mushrooms, chicken and broth. Overall it was a decent soup. After a while I focused on just eating the stuff in the soup and not finishing the broth. You can handle so much of the sweetness. Service was good. I did get a taste of my friend's marinated steak, it was really good. But for the cost of the steak, you really don't get much. I have tried this place twice now and I wish I could say that I love it. The food is decent but there are so many Thai joints in the valley that I just like a little better. I'm happy I got to try it twice but I'll just stick to my regular joints that I frequent.

My family and I were in the mood for some good Thai food and came to Pad Thai House to try it out…read more We got here before the dinner crowd which allowed us to get settled before the rush because this is a popular spot. Our server was friendly and helpful with our questions on the great variety of choices. We started with the shrimp and cream cheese wonton appetizers. Both were crispy, flavorful and a good start to a great meal. We shared entrees family style and had the Massuman curry with duck, Pad Thai with shrimp and chicken and the Kung Pao. The Pad Thai was some of the best we have had in the Treasure Valley. The rich flavor and generous ingredients kept us coming back for more. The curry had a slightly sweet flavor with a variety of spices I haven't tasted before. I love a unique spin on a dish that stands out instead of the same old "by the numbers" variety and Pad Thai House is definitely in a class of their own with their curry. The Kung Pao had a great combination of bite-sized vegetables and flavorful beef that was wonderful over their generous portions of rice. We have found a go-to spot with the Pad Thai House and are looking forward to trying more dishes on their menu.

The food felt average to me. The honey roasted duck was good and the portion is a great size. The fried rice is nothing to write home about. The restaurant was packed and it was clearly popular.

Get ready to tantalize your taste buds!…read more I visited this place on an early Sunday evening around 5 p.m. It wasn't too crowded, but it was bustling with DoorDash orders. I was introduced to this spot by DoorDash, and I was eager to try the restaurant for the fresh-cooked food experience. The hostess greeted me right away and showed me where to sit. Since I had walked over 2 miles to get here, I wanted to be seated rather than at one of the bar tables. If you're a fan of Thai food, this might just be your favorite place in Boise! It's got a nice vibe, and I noticed that the tables and chairs are cleaned after each visit. Everything is very clean and classy, even the restroom. The restaurant is beautifully decorated, but not too flashy. Fresh Spring Rolls with Shrimp 5/5 Spring mix, cucumber, carrot, cilantro, mint, rice noodles, and avocado wrapped in rice, served with peanut sauce or spicy Thai seafood sauce (add Shrimp for $2 extra). These are like a delicious, fresh, hand-held salad wrapped in rice paper. They're not fried, but fresh my favorite way to enjoy them. They also have Crispy Rolls, but I prefer the fresh ones. These are especially great on a hot summer day! They come with two dipping sauces: a peanut one and a lemony butter sauce. I know I'm different, but I like the lemony butter sauce instead of the peanut sauce. Pad See Ew 5/5 Stir-fried flat rice noodles with egg, carrot, broccoli in sweet black soy sauce, with your choice of meat. I tried it with seafood once and with veggies and beef another time. Always delish! Pad Kee Mao (Drunken Noodle) 3/5 Stir-fried flat rice noodles with green bean, bell pepper, Thai herbs, chilies, and basil, with your choice of meat. I've had mine with chicken, but this one's my least favorite because I thought some of the pieces were a bit too dry. I'm not sure what went wrong, but I didn't eat a few because they were tough. Since it was my second time, I didn't want to complain then, but maybe I should have mentioned it. Mistakes happen to everyone, so sorry for not bringing this up sooner. Slice of Cucumber Salad 16 oz 5/5 Thinly sliced cucumbers, red onions, and carrots, usually dressed in a light, sweet, and sour vinaigrette. This is a favorite of mine. To me a unique recipe! Fried Wings 5/5 Nice crispy, tender, and nicely fried chicken. Deep fried marinated Thai-style bone-in chicken wings served with sweet chili and sour sauce. So tender and juicy, yummy! Coconut Shrimp 5/5 Deep fried coconut shrimp served with spicy mayo sauce. Freshly made Sangria 5/5 Cold and delicious. The Game Changers: I appreciate that you can review your order before paying. I like the digital system, and what's more important, they ask for feedback right away. I think that's pretty cool and admirable. They want to know upfront if they've done anything that made you have a bad experience. I also like that they're linked up with Toast for loyalty reward points. Basically, for every dollar you spend, you can get a reward. I really think this is a great feature that the restaurant has that I haven't seen anyone comment on, but to me, it's a great benefit for the customer. Don't worry if you don't have a Toast account; I believe you can get one at their checkout process by providing your phone number. I already had a Toast account, so I might be mistaken. Just ask at checkout, and they will explain to you. They sanitize the tables after each use. They have chopsticks. The owners are from Thailand, and they have a great kitchen staff. The kitchen team includes Chef Wan and Chef Pronyanee. Chef Wan and Chef Pronyanee come from the northern province of Thailand. Chef Pitsy (Owner) is also from the northern province of Thailand. The restrooms are super clean. So customers and staff can wash their hands and keep the place as germ free as possible. I have gone to the restaurant three times so far and I think it's the one of if not the best Thai restaurant in Boise! (I haven't been to them all) As Arnold Schwarzenegger, character in the Terminator movie would say," I'll be back."

The red curry was awesome as usual and it comes in a very pretty and aesthetically pleasing bowl and has a very generous amount of food. The rice is always cooked perfectly.
