Everything was very average…read more We ventured in for lunch while running a few errands in the area and ordered a few things: * Agedashi Tofu * Vegetable Tempura * Edamame * Hamachi Roll * Salmon and Steak Teriyaki Combo (it came with miso soup, a small salad, and rice). There was nothing that really stood out, in my opinion. The food was just okay. I found all of the sauces to be pretty lack luster (agedashi tofu sauce, salad dressing, and tempura sauce) . It may have been a slow day, there were only about 4-5 tables of customers other than us. Our waitress wasn't very attentive, we actually had to try to make eye contact a few times just to get refills on our water. The restaurant itself was clean and there's a decent amount of space on the inside. I won't say that I would never come back. But it's not a place I would purposely revisit either.

Their Stepping Stone roll is by far my favorite. They also have great cocktails, as well as a good selection of local beer and wine. Their patio area is small, but offers a great shaded option if you want to sit outside. I would highly recommend Sushi Shack for anyone looking for their sushi fix. And I will definitely be back plenty of more times. Parking can be tough if you go on a busy night. They share a small parking lot with Coa Cantina, The Stil, and Lucky 13. But there is usually overflow parking available in the set of shops just behind them. In my experience, the servers have always been very friendly and helpful when I have questions about the menu.

I was pretty surprised as a first impression. The food was just okay and nothing to write home about - there were hardly any roll options and I was just left unimpressed overall.
