Let me start off by saying I am pregnant and this food absolutely HITS THE SPOT and the staff were so nice and friendly definitely coming here all the time! read more

Most of the time we use the drive up for a quick and easy dining experience with better than average food thanks for the service and the tasting meal read more

Probably my least favorite Chinese food I've ever had. Sesame chicken wasn't very good Crab Rangoon tasted like it was cooked in fried fish batter. All we could taste is fish. Egg drop soup had little flavor at all Chicken noodles were okay, also hardly any flavor. Customer service was good. The last at the front desk made sure our order was perfect and was very nice but. Overall the food isn't good to me. read more

Since the change their food, service and wait staff have gotten so much better. Food is awesome and wait staff is friendly and speedy.

No chocolate milk and staff being rude. Would be one star but strawberry milk is good.

Food is yummy. Best Chinese food ever. The service was excellent. Samantha was our server and she will put a smile on your face. We ordered the combination #D for two. The price was reasonable and it s refreshing to have left overs. Definitely an older establishment could use a few upgrades but I felt the ambiance was comfortable. read more

Such a yummy Chinese place the very best we travel down to mountain home on occasion just to eat there and we live in Nampa. The place is busy and the food is great. read more

The food is awesome. The service was alright, but it took awhile. The restaurant is very clean. I very recommend this place read more

What a great little place! Food was quite good and Renee's service was wonderful. Prices ridiculously reasonable too! Be sure to overly tip since the prices are so low:) Only gave it 4 stars because the ambiance was so-so. read more

I drove by this place countless times... to go this weekend and wish I would've came earlier!!! Good prices especially if you get a lunch special! Egg foo young I ordered I was pretty spectacle about but it turned out to be good! Not the best I've had but is convenient and gives what it supposed to give. ‍ Definitely gained a customer read more

Jade Palace Restaurant - Sweet and sour chicken lunch special with pork fried rice and crab Rangoons, and sesame chicken with chicken fried rice. - Chinese Near Me - Mountain Home, Idaho

Food was OK. Portions of same order we've always gotten was 1/2 the size they were 3 months ago. Waitress was awful and rude. I know that good help is more difficult to come by these days but having no one to wait on us would have been an improvement. Told us that the egg flour soup was not available but couple who came in 5 minutes after us received two bowls of it. Never again. read more

For the location the food was ok. I'm from Southern California and used to really good Chinese food. Portions are adequate. We picked up so cannot comment on service. read more

It's definitely not the worst I've had, which is honestly pretty good. Both the sweet and sour and general tsos that we got had no sauce, which was a huge bummer. Otherwise the fried chicken was good, as was the egg roll. The hot and sour soup was full of veggies and meat- I loved that it was hearty (though maybe could be a smidge more sour). I'll try again but will check the order before leaving. read more

If I could give it 1 star I would the lady at the window was very rude when she was handing me my food she just thrusted it at me didn't even make sure I had ahold of it and then immediately shut the window no have a good day nothin I'm so glad I didn't get to give her a tip because she closed the window so fast honestly she didn't deserve it the also did give me a fork or a spoon and the rice was bland and cold will never come back again read more

Giving them 5 stars in hopes they can reach a solid 3. They deserve better than 2. I agree with the other reviews. This is not Chinese food like you probably know it. For example i was surprised to find lots of bacon in the Combo Fried rice - is that a thing? Again, it wasn't bad, just totally unexpected. I will say there were also 4 really good quality shrimp in the carton and my son enjoyed the Crab Rangoon. We went through the drive through and they were a little slow but very nice. read more

The customer service could definitely use some improvement but the food was great! The portion sizes were great and the food was amazing! Their egg rolls are the best I've tasted in a long time. Their crab Rangoons taste just like cream cheese, you can't taste any crab in them so they were ok. The chicken chow mein was very flavorful as well as the fried rice. I will definitely be ordering some more food from here soon! read more

Overly quiet atmosphere. We were looking forward to a good dinner. The waitress was not friendly. It was obvious she couldnt handle too much change or stress. The order was brought out in a bag that had been tied off in a knot, so I could not check our order. We got back to our place only to be caught off guard with the dinner. It looked like the wrong order, but yet there were a few items that were correct. Most of the order was missing. We could not identify what type of soup we had. It was all very disappointing read more

Stopped by this little spot on a work trip to Mt Home. Large servings, ok food , good service. Don't expect traditional Chinese. read more

Jade Palace Restaurant - a plate of chinese food - Chinese Near Me - Mountain Home, Idaho

Normally pay $24 for 2 plates. Today I paid $16 for 1. Smallest plate I've received from here (way less food) given to me with one single soy sauce. Also rude service but I can only assume that's because their posted wage is still $3. Big price change in my overall total for none of it to be going to the staff. For the price go to the other two places in town with actual quality ingredients and good portion sizes. read more

Was served broccoli tonight instead of beef broccoli. Was charged for the mistake the restaurant made. When I asked for my food to be remade. They said they don't re make food or give refunds. Absolutely disgusted with this place and will never go back. read more

Awesome service and great food. One of the best Chinese in town. Try the pot stickers.

Worst chinese food ever. Ever! I should have I should have suspected it when I saw the place. So its my fault for eating here. I got a combination plate including kung pao chicken and Mandarin chicken. Anything that was deep fried tasted rancid from the oil. The kung pao chicken was decent; the fried rice was dry; the Mandarin chicken was horrible. I would say the ambiance and service were better, but they weren't. The services were marginal. She could even answer questions about the menu. One star is generous. Drive on. read more

After tonight's customer service I'll drive to the Nampa location before coming back here. If the owners are the same. I will find a new Chinese restaurant entirely. Not impressed. Hire new staff and fix your gross building. read more

Food doesn't resemble Chinese or American. The tactic of cooking is just fry everything and cover it in sauce. Witch could work out, if it was done properly. They environment way blasé, and the cooking seemed like the cook was lazy and rushing the process. read more

Great experience. Love the little shop, great tasting homemade food, fast service, friendly and humorous waiter. Would love them to be closer to us read more

Just finished a great meal here fresh and hot! We go here often after Golden Crown shut down this is close to perfect as we have found, good food and quick friendly service! read more

My partner and I ended up coming here to eat after getting turned away at Red Pavilion Chinese restaurant down the street. Red Pavilion was too worried about getting out of work early and turned us away before the restaurant closed, even though we arrive 15 minutes prior to close, so we ended up here. The potstickers were delicious as well as the soup. I ordered Kong Pau chicken with extra peanut. The chicken was definitely a better quality than most Chinese restaurants and they gave me plenty of peanuts as ordered. My meal wasn't very spicy at all even after ordering medium heat. I would come back to this restaurant to eat again and I would recommend it. read more

Just made a to go order for 2 people cost us over $25. Didn't get enough food for 1 person. Called them and they said an order of egg roll is half an egg roll. They also said each person gets 3 pieces of pork. Put together what we got and you wouldn't have 2 pieces total. Talk about a RIP off!!! read more

The whole staff is super nice and courteous. The food is ridiculously large! Definitely not a bad place. I got the shrimp fried rice and some beef and broccoli. Nothing I had was greasy. It was actually quite delicious. My personal experience was absolutely wonderful and my husband agrees! read more

Jade Palace Restaurant - This was king pao chicken, orange chicken, shrimp fried rice and a massive eggroll ... this is enough to easily fees two people! - Chinese Near Me - Mountain Home, Idaho

They don't refund or remake your meal if they mess it up. And they absolutely won't take responsibility for messing up. Horrible experience. They would not remake our order unless we paid for it or give us our money back. Even when we tried to return the perfectly untouched order read more

I honestly don't know how this place is still open. It's never been clean when we went in, the food has never been good (after giving it multiple tries), and the wait staff was only nice when we didn't ask questions and just ordered food. I never see people at this restaurant anymore and multiple people I know have gotten food poisoning (they aren't going back). read more

This is a great Chinese restaurant. The food is fantastic. I had a wonderful Shrimp with rice. They have really great lunches as well, and very decent prices. read more

Didnt even bother ordering here I sat down saw how filthy the ceiling was with dust and what looks like black mold and left .

Would not recommend this place. Food was way overfried and the sauces were bland and gross. Fried wontons were fried potstickers that were cold with who knows what in the middle. Really bad experience.. I'll never go again! read more

Excellent American Chinese spot to stop by. It's not the typical greasy fried rice or noodles ... It's perfect on taste and light enough to enjoy and not feel guilty. The restaurant is clean and the staff very courteous. read more

For Idaho this was the best chinese food while I was stationed here in the Ir Force for 5 years! ;) Golden Crown comes in 2nd! You can't beat chinese food with a drive-thru! LOL! The fried rice always had a smoky flavor to it with bbq pork in it. The mar far and egg flower soup was always good too! Even our local friends enjoyed this place best! ;) read more

Good Chinese food, including one of my favorites, mu shu pork. Ingredients taste fresh and are prepared well. Seasonings a bit toned-down, perhaps for the small town. They also have American food on one side of the menu, for those who prefer a burger. Friendly, quick service and prompt food arrival. read more

I got the egg roll and it was battered and fried like it was a piece of fish! The batter on an egg roll was gross!
