The food is good and the staff super friendly. Genuine when making suggestions on what to eat. I would recommend the lo mein. (I got beef)

I took my mom for Mother's Day, and they were busy as to be expected. We have gone in the past and I have only ever had good experiences until today and I am not sure I want to go back. We were sat, ordered our drinks and then had to wait 20 minutes before receiving them and being able to order our food. We ordered low mein, fried rice, and general tsao's chicken. We waited for nearly an hour or more for our food. When we received the chicken it was the wrong kind. She had given us kung pao, and before I could even say anything she rushed off. We sat there for another 10 minutes waiting for the rest of the food. When she came with it, before she rushed off again I said that I had wanted general tsao chicken. She looked at me and told me that I had in fact ordered kung pao (which is not true because I don't like kung pao). Before I could say anything she stomped off. The noodles and rice both were cold and at that point I wasn't even hungry, I was just upset and wanted to leave. She asked if we wanted boxes for the food we barely even touched. We both said no. And she walked away. I looked at the check and saw that she had left the kung pao on the ticket, but it wasn't what we wanted nor was it remotely eaten. I literally left the plate at the end of the table in hopes that she would notice and take it but she never did. When we walked to the front to pay I brought this to the managers attention and tried explaining what happened. While in the middle of explaining the waitress yelled in front of a lobby full of people that "they ordered the kung pao chicken, I read the order back and they said yes". If that is true I don't have any recollection of it. I was shocked and embarrassed. The manager looked at me and said she needed to speak to someone in the back. So my mom and I stood there awkwardly waiting. She came back and acted extremely annoyed and said she would take it off and said that I should have told her to take it back when it was brought out initially. I told her that I had tried but was met with immediate backlash and she walked away before I could even ask for it to be corrected, nor did she give me the option for it to be corrected. The manager rolled her eyes and collected the money. At this point I wanted to cry. I am not one to ever complain, and it took a lot of courage for me to even say that it was the wrong dish. Overall, today's experience left a bad taste in my mouth and I'm not sure if I want to go back. Which really sucks, because i used to tell everyone how great this place was. read more

My sister in law brought me here after she got off work. We got here about 7:15pm. . She asked if we were in time and we were told yes. We were seated at our table and the waitress told us "we close at 8". I guess that meant we needed to hurry. There weren't very many people there. Obviously because you have to hurry to eat at that time. I ordered a sesame chicken special and I'm not quite sure what my sister in law ordered. She also got a box to go. I ate the chicken and the egg rolls. I skipped the rice. It was uncomfortable trying to eat in a given time limit, but we did it. If you are asking about the ambiance I would have to say that having someone keep looking at you to see if you're going yet is uncomfortable. As for the food, I found that for Twin Falls it tasted pretty good for Chinese food. I gave 3 stars only for the waitress behavior. read more

We came here in a group of 6 for Chinese and I will say I was disappointed. There is an enormous coy fish in the dirtiest tank without coral, rocks, nothing just dirty water and a fish that doesn't fit in the tank. This kind of ruined the experience for me from the get go. The food here was terrible. These are not traditional recipes you would expect from a Chinese restaurant and worse of all they did not taste good. General Tao chicken was not battered and fried breast meat with a sweet sauce. It was thigh meat served in a brown gravy. Huh??! Chicken chow main had literally one tablespoon of meat served with brown soy soaked noodles. I showed the waitress and her response was I will let the chef know. Again. Not tasty. We took one bite and did not eat the dish. But it was on my bill!! Panda express is 10 times better than this and I am not kidding. I would not recommend this place. Rice bites. This is the BEST Chinese restaurant in Twin. The food is always good, and it is served piping hot. Please be patient. There aren't many waitresses, and I'm not sure how many cooks, but it is sometimes a little slow because of that. But sit tight, your food will come. And it is always well worth the wait. They do offer call-in and take out. They do not deliver. Oh, and they are closed on Monday. You can eat in the restaurant, but they aren't listed on any of the door delivery sites. Once, I called to ask why, and the owner was uncertain. Maybe I can make a suggestion somewhere. Just one more thing... they will prepare your game for a meal. Call and ask what kinds. First time ordering from here. So I decided to try a lot. I got: Beef w/broccoli General Tso chicken Chicken fried rice Steamed rice Egg rolls Potstickers Crab Rangoon. Honestly, everything was absolutely delicious. The food was extremely fresh and hot. They use quality chicken and quality beef. The beef wasn't rubbery at all, which I find all too often when ordering Chinese food sometimes. The sauces for everything had great flavor. You also get a lot of food for great pricing. The lady who took my order was very sweet and moved quickly. I made my order to go and it only took about 20/30 mins. It was a great experience and I'm excited to go back again and try more food options. I would say this is the best Chinese food in Twin Falls and the best Chinese food that I've had in a long time. Have been going here for years, simply delicious. My husband and I get the General Tsos lunch specials with an order of the pork lo mein and have never been disappointed. Their lunch specials have generous portions, most of the time I will have left overs for the next day. Their soups are great as well, my personal favorite is the egg flower soup. Just tried this place out a couple weeks ago and have ordered a few times since then. The dine in is great super clean booths clean floors and bathrooms. The customer service is pretty good too! It's been a challenge to find good Chinese food in twin but I was really happy to find this place. The menu has all the favorites and options. I ordered the sesame chicken and was surprised it wasn't all fried up dough like a lot of places. This place makes it lightly fried and with lots of real flavors. Pretty decent Chinese place, coming from a Chinese from SF. But it is catered towards Americans; note this is northern chinese- but a strange thing is their chow mein v Lo mein: here their chow mein is actually pan fried crispy noodles while their lo mein is the traditional stir fried noodles you would think chow mein would be. They don't actually have lo mein- which is traditionally not a fried noodle. (this was actually clarified by the owner, prior to putting our order in, good call on their part - seeing actual chinese people in the restaurant) But good flavors overall, with the "lo mein" you can taste the "wok heat". five Seasons is a good lighter dish for those who want more veggies and less oil. Generals chicken has good flavor and a nice crisp. All the meat was well cooked. service was ok, though the waitress didn't seem to really know what she was doing. read more

Very nice and very clean restaurant. 10 lunch specials that, if you finish them, you have over-eaten. Orange chicken was delightful as were the fresh and crispy spring rolls. I ordered hunan chicken and sesame beef. Both were off the menu requests that they happily agreed to make. I like my food spicy and so I chose five out of five stars for spiciness. These meals seemed like one star spice so I added more hot chili oil. The spring rolls were pretty standard, but the eggrolls are amazing. They are more like miniature burritos and have delicious pork and shrimp in them. To summarize, other reviewers of most of the Chinese restaurants in Twin Falls are negative, but I have now had two 'average to above average' experiences here and find it to be completely acceptable. I will absolutely return to Peking in the future. Unfortunately, they do not offer a delivery service as of this writing. read more

Honestly I've been here 3 times and I've never been impressed. The food is always a great temperature, but it's never that delicious. For small town Idaho you don't have too many options in Twin Falls but I'd go to Panda Express before choosing Peking willingly. We have friends and family who like this place, so on occasion we have to eat here. The staff is never that friendly. Carry out seems to take FOREVER and the one time we ate in the restaurant we had a waitress who was snide and a little obnoxious. We did have a group of 20 with us and half were teenagers...but she wasn't pleasant to deal with and our group was better behaved than most of that size. Would never choose to go here but also wouldn't pitch a fit when we have to. read more
