Wow, this is a gem for TF! Was home around Christmas, and took my mom here. The restaurant is small, but it's worth it. Some of the best Thai I've had. My mom got the first picture (can't remember what it was), my husband got chicken fried rice (2nd pic) and I got chicken green curry (last photo). Both were so yummy! Green curry had the perfect amount of spice for me! Will return next time I'm in town. I used to only eat Prasais, but I'm a convert now. You won't be disappointed! This restaurant is fantastic if you are in the di ing room. Food is slow, but delicious when it comes out!! Do not order delivery through any service. It just isn't the same. I have tried more than once. The parking lot is small, so do not enter off Addison, enter from the side street, and come down the alley. you'll see why I say this, if you do it any other way. read more

Wow. What a great find. Passing through to see the falls and popped in for a small bite. The people could not be more friendly! We shared the dumplings and green curry. Both were phenomenal. As we were leaving Pauli gave us some Turkish baklava. Excellent. Highly recommend eating here. Would give more stars if we could. Ambiance is very quaint. read more

Asian medley... The food was mediocre. Pampered Pig, while it has a decent flavor, tastes as though it were cooked in a slow cooker...tender, but dry...reminiscent of Kahlua Pork. Siamese Chicken was successful...it being the only portion of my Bigger Bites plate to be cooked to order, I believe. It tasted as though the Pad Thai and the Chow Mein along with the pig were all reheated in the microwave as everything but the chicken was the same temperature...luke warm. Wonton soup was pretty good. I didn't feel good paying two dollars for a can of coke. Why the absurd mark-up? It also appears they acquired the previous tenant's, a middle eastern restaurant's, salt, pepper, and sumac. Sumac for this cuisine? It's strange...and how old is it anyway? read more

We decided to try this place last minute and were pleasantly surprised. We ordered the Idaho Potato Curry and the Chinatown Chow Mein. Both very good! The curry had a lot of flavor and just the right amount of heat. My husband really liked the chow mein. Neither of us are at all knowledgeable of Thai cuisine but we enjoyed it all the same. The restaurant itself is small but cozy. The day we went it was extremely hot inside, so we opted to eat outside on the deck. It only had three small tables and no decor but could definitely be spruced up for a much more enjoyable outdoor dining experience. Parking is in back and is limited but there seemed to be available parking next door if needed. We will definitely make this place a regular stop! read more

Tried this place last night with a friend. My friend has came here before and loves it. Last night was my first time coming, and I love it! I will definitely be coming back. Real authentic Thai food. Very good, very tastey. I loved the spices and the heat! I also loved that I got a tall mug of Thai tea! I love Thai tea! Rice and Bites is a tiny restaurant, with few seatings in side. But it was still a very clean and friendly atmosphere. To find this place was a little difficult, and not a huge parking lot. But the owners should be proud of their hard work. The food wasn't greasy like most Chinese restaurants have. It wasn't too much food but also not too little food, it was the perfect amount for each member of my family. The employees greeted my son & my daughter (since they were picking up the food for our family). My son bowed to them & they smiled & bowed back. They talked to him about the great gesture. My daughter loved one of their funny signs that made her laugh (I bet I would've loved it if I saw it). Ordering online was nice & simple. Overall it was a great experience for my family!! read more

We dropped in here on the spur of the moment during a road trip. We shared the homemade dumplings; I had red curry with shrimp & my husband had "Thai volcano." The food was very spicy, which we like. And VERY HOT (temperature). I hate food that ought to be hot & it's lukewarm. Everything was delicious. I hope we can come again if we travel back to Twin Falls. read more

I was doordashing when I got an order from this place. I had never heard of Rice & Bites before, but I'm so happy I found this place. I always refer to Rice & Bites as my secret restaurant. It's quiet and defines ambiance. The price is right, and the food is to die for. Come here if you want top-notch service. Sam and the ladies in the kitchen are absolutely amazing. You will not find better or friendlier service anywhere else. The restaurant is hidden across the street from Smith's next to the book store with parking in the back. Super nice friendly family owned eatery with authentic Thai flavors that cannot be found anywhere else in the Magic Valley! Having lived 2 hrs from Chicago....and eaten Thai food all over the United States as well as homemade traditional Thai cooked by my in-laws (they are pure Thai/Lao) I am a bit of a snob. This place is just getting started and has a limited menu but if the dish's that my wife and I enjoyed this morning are any indication of what's to come...this is the Thai eatery that we have been waiting for! We stopped by on a Sunday morning before they had even opened (they open at 11am Sunday) we were greeted by the owners and staff like family and even though they were not open they offered to cook us what ever we wanted ( including items that are not even on the menu) we decided to come back after they had opened. Upon returning we ordered, sat down and eagerly awaited the bounty of food that was being prepared fresh just a few steps away from our table. The dish's were spot on! Layered in textures and flavors that are usually only found in Thailand itself and in larger metropolitan areas we found ourselves licking our plates (nothing wrong with that bro). We have found the Thai offerings here in Twin Falls is usually way too sweet and don't represent the complexity of the real deal Thai food found in Seattle or Southern California. This is west coast Thai! Packed in umami with portions large enough for leftovers (darn it). Give this place a shot. We love the food and the were treated like family. We tried this restaurant for the first time last week and what a lovely surprise! The food was fresh and flavorful, the owner friendly, the decor was attractive. We love Thai food and thought I had to go to Boise to get the quality Thai food I like, but this is my new favorite. The shrimp appetizer was deliciously crispy. The curry with chicken had fresh vegetables and the chicken was moist and tender. Spices were flavorful without being too "hot". I'm looking forward to my next visit! read more

What A wonderful little mom and pop shop. It looks like someone's house from the outside and it is beautifully decorated on the inside, like a sit down restaurant should. The food, oh the food was sooo good. I had the Shitake Ramen with Pork and my mother had a Create-a-Bowl with Pampered Pig. The broth in my ramen was so exquisite, handcrafted with love in every step of it's creation along with the freshest veggies I've ever tasted and the noodles with the best texture at ANY Twin Falls restaurant. The pork was pretty good on it's own but really needed the broth to elevate it's taste as it was lightly seasoned(no complaints here). I also has a Thai Iced Tea with cream and it was lovely. Not too sweet with complex flavor. The place is owned and operated solely by a mom and daughter and even so the service was quite good. She made sure every occupied table was well taken care of. It was a very enjoyable experience and we'll be comin' back or ordering more on Door Dash. read more

Although they were super super nice, and specially made my curry... I'm very disappointed. Please please stop using onion soup and tons of salt in your curry! I cant taste anything else. And I try to avoid artificial ingredients . The salad (spring?) rolls were bomb and peanut sauce was ok, but my curry disappointment overshadowed it. read more

If you are looking for an authentic and delicious Thai meal, this restaurant is fantastic! I've tried many Thai restaurants here in Idaho and none of them stood out to me, but the chef/owner of Rice and Bites creates a delightful treat for your senses. The meals look beautiful, taste amazing and smell wonderful. The restaurant is quaint, exactly what one would expect in an intimate, small setting. The chef/owner is super sweet and gladly created a dish for someone at our table that was off the menu. Rice and Bites is 2 hours from my home, but I am already planning my next visit because my meal is one that I just cant forget! I really want to try everything on the menu now. I had noodle soup with chicken, my husband had ramen with beef, our friends had drunken noodle and a pork noodle soup (sorry I cant remember the proper names!) as well as spring rolls with peanut sauce and finally mango and sweet rice to finish the meal. It was all outstanding and I am getting hungry just writing this review. read more
