This was an interesting experience. A storefront Chinese restaurant run by one very senior gentleman who does everything himself. He is the host, the waiter, the only chef, and the dishwasher. We came in and asked for a table for two for dinner. The man said it would be about 45 minutes before we would be served. We decided to stay. The menu is limited, narrowed down I suppose, to what can be handled by one person. Everyone else, we noticed, was ordering the House Noodle and egg rolls, so we ordered those too. We also ordered sweet and sour pork. The egg rolls are handmade by the gentleman with real ingredients, real vegetables, real meat, and real flavor, unlike the egg rolls at almost all other Chinese restaurants. The house noodle dish, specialty of the house, had beef, chicken and vegetables all chopped just so, with noodles handmade that morning, wok fried in a delicate sauce. The sweet and sour pork is not the usual Chinese American style, with big chunks of pineapple and bell pepper in a sticky pink sauce. The pork chunks were lightly breaded and fried. The sweet and sour sauce came on the side, clear and sweet but very light. It was served with a small portion of fried rice which, by itself, was better than most. The 45 minute wait was more than worth it. He was able to cook and serve five tables while we were there, plus a few take out orders. I wish he would get some help, but I suppose they just wouldn't chop the vegetables the same. Tucked away in a strip mall in just some whatever suburb of Boise, we found a little gem. This is one man's labor of love, to do the thing he knows best in his own special way. Thank you, very much.

Was in the area visiting my grandma at the hospital in Boise. I was craving Chinese food and heard good things about this place, so I asked my uncle if he would try it with me. We ordered big and they sure did load it up! The owner freshly makes his noodles and they were absolutely my favorite thing ever. From the rice, to the beef, to the veggies, everything was delicious! The owner himself is absolutely kind and an incredible cook who runs the whole thing by himself, so with warning, it'll take about 20ish minutes depending on the order traffic. I asked for 3/5 spicy and it was moderate with a little kick, for me at least. My grandma who hadn't been eating for over a month even ate! She loved the noodles and crushed the pork fried rice, and from that day on, she has improved so much on her health. She has made so much progress from that day, and I give small attributes to Wok-Inn Noodle!

Best Chinese food I've had (so far) in Boise. Don't let the appearance fool you - the food is great and the owner is super cool!
