I absolutely love the owners and the food! Everything that I have ever ordered has been outstanding!

I can't recommend this place as the food is always very greasy, bland and slimey. We gave them a few tries to see if it got better but sadly... no. read more

Hole in the wall.. Sorry, but I will not be going here again. The food was not good at all. I was very disappointed. I was excited to try it considering I love Chinese food but this was just terrible. My son got sick from eating it to; he had the beef fried rice. Poor kid was throwing up. Service was not great either, the lady was very rude and made it seem like it was an inconvenience for her to be taking my order. Sorry but I wouldn't recommend this place. read more

I've ordered take out for over 3 years now and have never been disappointed in the food taste or quality! In the beginning I also got some rude tones from staff but honestly it was only once and ever since then I find them to be very friendly. I definitely recommend if you are craving some good Chinese food. read more

This is my go to place! The food is always fresh , delicious and so filling! There is always lots of meat in the chow mein and rice, it's a really good meal for a really good price! The staff is so friendly and kind, I love that they provide a home cooked meal that is always consistent and flavorful! I recommend to all my friends as a "take home date" when they visit the valley! read more

Silver Dragon - Combination Chow Mein, Beef w. Garlic Sauce, sweet & sour chicken (sauce not pictured) - Chinese Near Me - Bellevue, Idaho

love the owner....and love the food!!! Everyone Should order from /silver /dragon for authentic Chinese food you will love

Very nasty place. They lie and yell at customers who are placing simple orders. Maybe I was there on an off day but I swear I also saw a cook spit in my food which is totally over the line. It's really too bad bc the food is actually quite decent. Just wish they had a sense of how to treat customers! read more

Food was ok, service was horrible! To start the greeting was very cold and unwelcoming. I know it was because they were getting ready to close, but if that is the case, turn your sign off and no one will bother you. Second ( I'm sure because they were rushing) the food spilled all over the bag causing a huge mess. The chow menu was mediocre and the mandarin chicken was not great either. Do not ask for hot sauce if you don't like dirty looks read more

Love the food here! Has a basic cafe ambiance. Everything is good...especially House LoMein. So happy it is in South Valley. Lucky us! read more

Yesterday I bought $35 of food plus tip they only gave me one hot sauce, come on I'm Mexican. I asked the lady if I could have more she rolled her eyes at me and give it to me with a bad attitude. I didn't appreciate. She should appreciate customers a little bit more, bc thanks to us she pay her bills. NO costumer NO business. Honestly she lost a costumer. I don't care if that's the only Chinese food in town. I'm not going back read more

We go here all the time. Owner is nice and loves her regulars. Her lemon chicken is killer and my children cannot get enough of the chow mein. My one discrepancy is I wish they would deep clean the place. They need some major scrubbing of tables. Other than that, no complaints! read more

Silver Dragon - Take out menu - Chinese Near Me - Bellevue, Idaho

See all

Had their Szechuan chicken yesterday and it was excellent. Thanked me for my business. Great job.

This is a prime example of convenience and price outweighing quality. It's practically next door and it's cheap so I find myself calling for take out a few times a month. It's cheap and it hits the spot when necessary but I do (lovingly) refer to it as "Shitty Chinese". It's become somewhat of a Sunday night tradition - DH and SC do go hand in hand. It's not so "shitty" that I stop eating there but in a town of only 1800 people and 8 restaurants what are you going to do when you are too damn lazy to travel afar (a whole 4 miles to the next town!) To be fair I do enjoy the BBQ pork, egg rolls and potstickers and I find the Szechwan dishes to be better than the Gen Tao or Kung Pao. The latter two have the little chili pepper next to them but don't actually qualify as spicy in my book. Also, when I ride my bike to pick up my order, as I typically do weather permitting, I have to bring my own plastic grocery bag because they only use brown bags - not so conducive for bike transport. But at least I'm recycling! Also, one order typically garnishes two meals (although the second is a little short on rice) so if I know I'm going to be too busy on Monday to grab lunch it works out well. In short, if you are looking for a fabulous food experience, this isn't the Chinese restaurant for you. You'd want to make the trek to Ketchum and visit either Panda or Golden Palace where both the food and ambiance is much better (and of course pricier). If you just need some quick cheap takeout and aren't looking for a gourmet experience, this just might do the trick. read more

I was not impressed with their food. One dish was not salty enough while another was way too salty. Service was mediocre. I cant see myself coming back here again. The atmosphere and the look of the restaurant is kind of like the food, cheap. read more

Fast and inexpensive lunch, the price and convenience are a good value. We order spicy garlic chicken every Tuesday, I always get extra spicy, they know us by name and expect us every week. This is a great place for workweek lunch to stay in budget and still fill the belly! read more

I think the prior reviews are a bit unfair. A nice ambience has no correlation with the quality if the food. It's a nice mom and pop restaurant in a very bland setting. I think it compares favorably with anything in Ketchum or Twin Falls for food quality. read more

The food is not very good and the same lady that's in there every time always seems angry. The rice is bland and doesn't even taste like Chinese rice. Simply not impressed. read more

I got food poisoning and so did my other two friends. There are other, much better, options in this valley. If you have to go, don't get the chicken. 2/5 read more

My girlfriend and I both ordered shrimp chow mein, it was a dead dish , we received a big bowl of mush. The noodles were smothered with too much sesame seed oil and soy sauce. Not very pleasant to look at...we didn't finish it and left still paid. Way too pricy for the quality of the food. I don't recommend it for a first date or anything. read more

I guess if I have to give it a one star I will because the food can taste good at times. The lady that owns it and works there is HORRIBLE! She's completely rude and has no respect for anyone as she should for people supporting her business. The fried rice is dry. I bought some honey glazed shrimp and it was soooo soggy when I got it I couldn't eat it. Most other thing I have had don't taste too bad but the owner won't bring me back there again. read more

We were hungry and they were open. Huge menu with all my favorites but unfortunately there was no flavor found here. We won't be going back. My husband ordered the pork with sesame seeds as an appetizer and it was extremely dry. The mooshi pork was awful. No texture and the kitchen put in the red dried pork from the pork and seeds, just chopped up. Very strange. I say skip it. read more

My family and I adore this restaurant and usually eat there at least once when we stay for a weekend. Authentic Chinese food at its best. Their dishes are all excellent, my favorites being their sesame chicken and their chicken chow mein. Their atmosphere is a little lacking, but the service is good. If you call a few days ahead you can order Peking Duck, one of the best things they offer. Great restaurant, excellent food, decent pricing. read more

Quick inexpensive and fresh. Not sure why everyone is cutting down the ambiance. This place is located in rural Idaho and Sun Valley will never be able to hold a candle to Aspen or Vail. Put your pinkies down and come back to reality my friends. read more

Called in a order of sweet and sour shrimp, it was ready in 10 minutes for me to pick up which was nice. When I got my food they put steamed white rice in one box, fried shrimp in another box and then a box full of sweet and sour sauce! I thought that was a little odd but I went ahead and mixed the shrimp with the sauce and the shrimp tasted really funky, almost old. I couldn't finish the meal because of how odd the shrimp tasted. I don't think I will be ordering from here again sadly. read more

Only Chinese restaurant in the south valley area, how can you complain! The egg rolls are probably the best thing on the menu, but the Chow Mein is great. read more

Run of the mill Chinese. Nothing to write home about. Food came fast and friendly staff.

Great food horrible cleanliness. There was food on the walls and the floor, table was sticky and you could litteraly scrape food of with your nails. read more

I don't know about the previous reviewers but we went last week and were very satisfied. The sesame chicken was very, very good. The shrimp in lobster sauce was also good. I had them at 5 stars but lately their Sesame Chicken has been dry and off. read more

This is a quiet little Chinese restaurant.. me and my friends wanted a place to go for lunch and wanted Chinese but couldn't go all the way to ketchum. so we found the silver dragon. the food was OK it wasn't great but it was fast and what we wanted. i haven't been back since because i thought it was to much to pay and not that much food, and not that good either. i would recommend this place to people who want Chinese and want it fast. i think its to overpriced for what you get and isn't worth it, and the food that you get isn't great. read more
