I've been here too many times to count. Everything on the menu is delicious and affordable! The service is quick and friendly.

Every Tuesday, I drive by Paco's and notice an extensive line of cars going through their drive-thru. So I assumed there was a Taco Tuesday special. But after visiting on a Tuesday to try some tacos, I was told they didn't have a Tuesday special. However, it was alright because their prices are comparable to other Mexican fast-food restaurants like Nicos and Los Betos. I did notice the breakfast burritos prices were a little lower. I tried their carne asada plate and an order of super nachos this trip. Both were okay, with generous serving sizes. Also, the lady at the drive-through was friendly, and the food was served quickly. Unfortunately, the carne asada had no smoky flavor or enough seasoning for my taste. On the other hand, the meat on the nachos tasted better served with ingredients that tasted very fresh. Why is there a line for this? Passing by and eating at queen sheba (fantastic Eritrean food, read that review and skip this place) there is frequently a long-ish line of cars in queue for drive through. My mistake was taking that as a positive sign. Flavorless, when edible, that not even the beans and rice could save. We got a chimichanga and a two ground beef taco combo. For the chimi I asked for a mix of two meats and it is not even an option/extra charge. This indicates pre-made fast food style burritos, just sitting and waiting for a chance for a sucker like me to trust. Cutting into the chimi reveals layer after layer of uncooked tortilla. Wrapped inside was medium rare shredded beef (not just a pink color from tomatoes) and honestly could not taste anything but disappointment. The guac, sour cream and enchilada sauce had nothing to convince me it was worth a meal. The tacos reminded me of boxed shells and if you cook ground beef without anything, even salt. Rice and beans were cooked right, good consistency, but still no taste. If you want a flan in a cup and you are not near a food city may be worth a stop here, but might as well hit the circle K on the corner for something less regretful. read more

My husband likes Paco's burritos much more than me, so I will give a higher star rating. They have cheap simple breakfast or regular burritos. You can add guacamole & cheese to burritos at no extra charge. Bandito burrito with chille relleno inside is another vegetarian option and arguably better than their plain veg burrito. Guacamole & chips are cheap and plentiful, but bland (needs salt, lime, and other guacamole ingredients like cilantro or onion). read more

Solid Mexican restaurant in central tucson, I ordered the breakfast burritos specifically the bacon egg and cheese and potato & a chorizo, egg, and cheese burrito with beans. Gotta add beans to a breakfast burro that doesn't have any, That's my rule. Anyways, some pluses, clean dinning room, they also have a drive through but it gets pretty busy sometimes. Red sauce could have a little more kick to it. Staff is nice but when I ordered I was looking for some guidance and the man I ordered from wanted to provide none ‍ If I was driving by I'd stop again if I was starving, otherwise I probably wouldn't go out of my way. read more

Another excellent carnitas burrito today with good sized chunks nicely grilled with great pico and guac. It's like the gold standard for carnitas and I wish I could carry one around to give it to places where I experience that other carnitas pattern where it seems to be a stewed mess of shredded salty meat. Our favorite place in Central Tucson for Mexican food! So many things to enjoy eating at Paco's!! Breakfast burritos are dynamite here and only $4.50! I love their combo plate #5 (bean tostada and cheese enchilada) and my husband is a fan of the CA burrito! We love this place so much that we took the family here for dinner last night and came back for brekkie this morning. Yep. That's unusual for us but this place is something special! I have eaten here for over 15 years and the food has taken a significant nose dive to the extent that my wife and I both got food poisoning. We both were so sick and salmonella. We each had chicken tostadas and clearly the chicken had salmonella poisoning. They DO NOT cook the meat enough and this last year it has gotten progressively worse. If you watch them prepare it, they just throw it together. All the owner cares about is making money. NICO'S is so much better and costs less. Swan and Ft. Lowell and Campbell and Ft. Terrible, terrible, terrible, drive thru customer service. Not friendly, when I asked to know if the tacos were hard shell or not, then the female worker said you ordered enchiladas. Accusing me of my wrong order number, I know exactly what I ordered. I know how to read the menu. Very rudely says , "what do you want" and then yells out to cook that I ordered wrong and wants something else. i am lucky to live so close to this place and lucky to have nice people like these to wait on me. the only food that i have had so far that was not to my liking was the fish taco and in my opinion it was the worst of any i have in tucson.i love good fish tacos. but that aside the chimichangas are really good and so are the tacos, altho the latter needs more cheese i think. the place is clean and delightful , great waitress/s and other help. but most especially the waitresses seem to be more apt to pay attention to the customer and are less careless. sorry guys. when you run into a problem either while there or later they will take care of it, and are glad to do it. thanks for your good service. read more

Beans and rice are essentials, and are so so good here. Anything carne asada is bomb: tacos, burritos, highly recommend the Carne Chimichanga Combo! Decent breakfast burritos. And The shredded Chicken Tacos with that magical, secret recipe red sauce (not spicy)....don't think anything is living up to those. Ever. I was in Tucson for my son's baseball camp at the university and needed a bite before heading home to San Diego. My son and I grabbed a veggie burrito and California burrito. They were soooo good and the prices were very reasonable. The drive thru was long but very quick. If I'm ever in Tucson again I'll definitely be back. read more

Great little spot located near TMC features a pretty standard Mexican fast food menu with above average value & taste. Not on the menu (ask for #14) the Chile Relleno plate is must try! However nothing on their menu has disappointed so far, so give it a try. read more

Best drive through Mexican food in Tucson. Been visiting for over 10 years. The breakfast burritos are fantastic.

We have eaten from the drive-in menu at least twice a week since the pandemic began. The last two visits were very unsatisfactory! We came home with the wrong food, this last time one order was completely left out while two salads were packaged (we did not order two salads0 The food has been good up until now. The line was not long this time, The quality is now missing. The tortilla was even soggy. We will not be likely to come back. read more

Consistently good, cheap Mexican food. I work suuuupppeerr close to Paco's and have been coming here forever. The restaurant is always clean and the employees are efficient and quick with the orders. I've never, ever had a bad experience here. I picked up food for the office today: veggie burro, chicken in red chili burro, carne asada burro, a chili bandido ( chile relleno, rice/beans and enchilada sauce), bean and cheese and plenty of guacamole sides. Everyone was very happy with the lunch and VERY pleased with the price. Good stuff...actually better than Nico's or Los Betos although I love both of those too! read more

Authentic Mexican fast food. In my opinion, they have one of the best vegetarian burritos in town. It's no frills but really good- the refried beans and tortilla are on point AND their salsa has some bite which I appreciate. It's a to go place... good flavor but little cheese in the cheese enchiladas. They don't have an oven so the enchiladas aren't cooked like other dine-in. I didn't like the texture of the uncooked tortillas in the enchiladas dish. Service was fast. read more

Super Nachos - all that's missing is a cape. Paco's is the best drive-thru Mexican food in Tucson. There are currently 5 Mexican restaurants at Grant & Craycoft, but trust me, just eat at Paco's. Both red & green hot sauces are spicy. Side of jalapeños is always free. I'm very appreciative of the lady who usually works the drive-thru, & she always wears a mask. Closed Sundays! read more

This place has the best beans in town. I've eaten all over town for the past 15 years and I won't go anywhere else now.
