The food was very good and the patio was a nice place to sit! The man taking our order was very nice and helped us figure out what to get.

Really good spot for a quick breakfast snack. The tacos are pretty big along with the gorditas. The gordita especially has a really good corn like bread and crisped up enough to get a bit of crunch to it. One gordita is enough food to start your day. Lots of outdoor seating, a fair amount of indoor seating and parking space.

5 stars as always! I love this place and will keep coming back. The food was great, service is great, ambiance is great! We had our breakfast outdoors. I ordered Paco Bandito tacos and cold brew, and it was delightful.

It's taken me too long to try this place out but I'm glad I finally did. Came here the other day for breakfast and was so happy with the service and food. I ordered the migas plate and my mom ordered enchiladas. Both came out quickly and were delicious. I loved having the option of sitting inside or under the covered patio outdoors. The grounds are really cute and eclectic and had lots of seating and parking.

Haven't been to Paco's in years and glad to see it is still just as good as I remember. I came in for some breakfast to go around 10 am and no wait time. They have a large menu selection which can be slightly overwhelming if you've never been, but the workers are super helpful and kind. I got one migas and one bacon egg and cheese. Both tasted perfectly authentically tex mex. Not greasy which is a plus. They were a good size too, very filled up. Still warm by the time I got home 20 minutes later too. They also have a mini fridge of salsas you can grab to go. Inside is very quaint and country. Lots of space for sitting both inside and outside.

One of my new favorite taco spots in Austin! I called in my order and they had it ready super fast perfect for a quick pickup. The staff was really friendly and welcoming, which made the experience even better. I loved that you can make your own coffee and they had a great selection of salsas to try. The tacos were fresh, flavorful, and definitely worth coming back for. Next time getting a margarita to sip on the patio! (IG: wheresspeedbump)

The best way to describe this restaurant: country Mexican. The outdoor part of it is very country, and there was a live guitarist. I thought the vibes were immaculate. They have $4 mimosas on the weekends, so my friend really enjoyed the special grapefruit one he got. They even have two large private parking lots! I was overwhelmed looking at the menu selection. I ended up settling for the egg and potato breakfast taco, the gringo taco, and the carnitas taco. This was a whopping $17, which I think is the most I've paid for tacos in Austin. These tacos are really big though, so I should've just ordered two. The breakfast taco and carnitas tacos were good. The gringo taco tasted soooooo strange. I really like shrimp tacos, but something about this flavour was so unpleasant. I will also say that the water tasted so so bad. I'm not someone who is picky about the taste of water, but their water tasted worse than regular tap water. It was so off that I couldn't drink it. I value water a lot, so this was unfortunate.

Continues to remain one of my favorite Tex mex sports on the northeast side of ATX. I like to order the big man breakfast but it is seriously messy, so be careful. The service is always super fast here and friendly. I've found their pricing to be reasonable because they make their tacos fat. Great job!

I have a mixed review if this place. I've been a few times and it's three star some, but this time was better, so I'll give it the benefit of the doubt. Previously I've done my standard chorizo and egg on flour and was underwhelmed. Changed it up this time with black bean and potato, which was excellent. And sausage and egg, which was pretty good. Flour tortillas were warned up a little. Above average. I've only tried a couple salsas from the salsa bar, but they've got good flavor. I want to like this place more, because the vibe is great. Nice outside patio area. Some seating inside. Four star for now, but wish I could do 3 1/2.

I've been here a few times over the years and this last time seemed to be a little different. The prices surprised me a little bit as they seem to have increased since I last remember. I got La Vieira and Paco's Chuleta and felt they weren't particularly flavorful. I'm totally sympathetic of rising costs but just wasn't impressed for this price point. I also ordered a $3.50 horchata and was given a regular sized plastic cup to serve myself from a bucket with a ladle. Definitely not the service I was expecting. I'm giving one more star because I have better memories from previous visits and Paco's does have a cool, rustic vibe. But I wouldn't go out of my way to eat here again with many other taco options.

I live on the same street as this place and I always drive past it on the way to the HEB that is also on this street. I never thought to try it out until just now. It's easy to miss, but once you turn into the parking lot it's hard not to love. The environment is awesome! I loved the outdoor seating area with a shaded patio. I got a breakfast taco and a breakfast tostada and I was blown away at the value. The food tasted great and it was not expensive at all. The salsa bar is nice, but I would've personally liked if the salsas were spicier and had more flavor. The service was also quick and friendly :) It's a great taco spot that's got hole-in-the-wall written all over it. I highly recommend stopping by!

We love coming back to Paco's Tacos for their variety of breakfast tacos options and weekend drink offers. The location is really charming, with a real cantina out back. The staff is super friendly. I like their corn and flour blend tortillas, which I believe are made in-house. We picked two or three taco items and had the coffee cups to enjoy on their patio for a nice relaxing early Sunday morning.

    Is Paco's dog friendly?

Paco’s welcomes dogs as long as the owner is responsible and keeps the dog on a leash. We have water bowls and dog treats.

Are the refried beans vegetarian? If so, are they made with much oil? Asking for meal planning/calorie info myself, but I figured someone else might want to know if they are veg too. Thanks!

I've driven by El Alma many times being in the Austin area, but I never went until last Thursday, and after surviving a brief monsoon, I was glad to get a few drinks and eat some good TexMex with my large party just before a wedding. The best way to describe El Alma is that it is TexMex that is Austinified. Everything feels a little more unique and special than your classic TexMex options. I started off with a Mezcal Margarita that put a little hair on my chest and got me going. My group ordered two of their Nachitos, which were these nice nachos. For my main entrée, I got 3 Al Pastor tacos on corn with a side of their rice and beans. Their pastor was served with pineapples, onions, and cilantro with limes on the side. They were great and I immediately crushed them all. I thought their rice and beans were pretty good as well and a step above the typical TexMex rice and beans. The server was pretty attentive throughout our whole visit, and I honestly have no complaints about what they had to offer. Pricing on the meal and drinks was pretty standard for Austin, and I didn't think anything really took me out of the experience. On top of that, for being in Barton Springs, there is quite a bit of parking. I would love to come back at some point in the future and hang out on their rooftop bar because that seems like a lot of fun. Shoutout to El Alma for being a TexMex oasis saving me from the MoPac traffic. RIYL: TexMex, but better than your average

I have not found a taco place that was phenomenal until I tried this place! The vibes take you back to Mexico with authentic tacos served simple, straight forward, and let the taco speak for itself! We were downtown for a concert at the Moody Theater and were hungry so we decided to walk a short 9 mins to Taqueria De Diez! The best decision made! Full disclosure... the establishment is located down a very DARK creepy alley (the kind in the movies where you shouldn't go down to get) but after overcoming that fear... this will be the best decision you make! Your tummy will thank you! Follow the outside "TACO here" sign. Go through the door and walk straight... this will get you through the line. Lucky for us on a Saturday night at 10:30pm there wasn't a super long line. We managed to grab two seats to chow down our tacos. You will be able to see the chefs cook the carne asada on the grill and the Al pastor on the spit roast being cut to be put in tacos. The smell was amazing and you know you're at a legit place! Ordering: -Check out their menu while waiting in line so you know what to order when it's your turn. -place order at register. They accept visa, Mastercard, Venmo, cash, but does NOT accept AMEX. - grab your drinks if you purchased some. Mexica soda, horchata, jimicama drinks, water , etc - give your ticket to the expeditor and tell them to go or dine there. The expeditor will ask you cilantro, onions, and salsa on a taco? Say yes. It's a must. The expeditor will tell the chefs to assemble your tacos. (I'm seriously so impress with how efficient and quick their service goes. We waited maybe 5-10 mins and got 5 tacos and chips/salsa. There was about 8 ppl in front of us but the lines go quick. If you ordered chips and salsa then you will get the chips from the cashier and the salsa from the expeditor. * 1 Al pastor taco on flour 4/5: love the fresh pineapples on it! The Al pastor had crispy pieces and was super tasty! It was really tasty. There were pieces of meat that was dry but the salsa helped and pineapple. Season was really good! I was in awed with how tasty it is! Definitely best Al pastor in ATXi had! * 1 Campechano on flour 5/5: wow best of both worlds! I had this taco second and loved the combo flavor! Juiciness of the carne asada and crispy frol the Al pastor. * carne asada on flour 5/5: juicy perfectly seasoned and love the green sauce on it! Sauce was creamy and paired well with the taco. It was so so freaking good! The flour tortilla is super thin and let the meats stand out. Loaded Smokey taco and was differently the best carne asada I've ever had! After trying the carne asada I definitely think it's better than Al pastor! I'm glad I tried the Al pastor taco first before the carne because I think the carne asada would have outshine the Al pastor if I had it first. It was a great end to the last taco! * 1 VOLCAN- couldn't try because it was sold out * chips and salsa 4/5: chips crispy and not oily. Salsa was super spicy but good. All tacos come with onions cilantro and salsa with no additional cost. Overall do I recommend this place? I truly wish I tried this place 5 yrs ago when I moved to ATX! I truly highly recommend this place! Do not wait 5 yrs to go try this place or you will be full of regrets! It's a simple taco but made right with complex balance and flavors! I love love love it and now will be thinking about these tacos! Highly recommended! Prices are reasonable and the tacos are made with love!
