Back Savers showed up with so many movers I almost lost count. 6 or 7 of the most clean cut, uniform wearing gentleman. They got to work right away helping me finish wrapping up odds and ends. I opted to provide the boxes and supplies needed for the move but I noticed that they did have extra supplies to wrap the couches etc. We are having to get the crew to come back out again tomorrow because I needed more storage. If I did have the extra storage space today they could have easily finished up today. These people are serious about getting the job done. These people didn't do anything as promised.... not a single thing. Left me to pack most of my belongings myself on packing day. Worked only 2.5 hrs. When I questioned their leaving so soon, with so much left unpacked and zero furniture prep done, they said "it's ok, we'll do it all in the morning" (which was move day, with a 4-5 hour drive each way). I expected the 2 people to be there all day packing. I had a miserable and very painful day and night of packing as much as I could myself. Next a.m. they did a poor job of taking care of what was left, and the movers left my former house without telling me, although they knew I planned to follow them in my car to Knoxville. It took me 6.5 hrs to get to destination. I was basically lost in the mtns. It only took them about 4 hours. They left things behind... important framed family tree on wall and many other things. They had to be told many times to be sure to pack up my clothes closet and other items. When unloading in Knoxville, they didn't put boxes in the rooms they were labeled for, so now I cannot find things I need. They put "need first" boxes on bottom of piles of heavy boxes in corners, such that I can't get to them. I could go on and on. I am miserable. They caused me terrible stress and great physical pain due to all the things I had to do that they did not do. They supposedly unpack and set up kitchen, bedroom, tv, etc. Don't believe it. Not one thing was unpacked. I would never ever recommend them to my worst enemy.
