The employees were very respectful of me and my belongings, and I was amazed by how much care they took in wrapping my furniture in plastic, blankets, etc. I was very impressed that all the employees wore masks despite the heat and discomfort I'm certain they created. Pack it up movers is by far the best moving company that I have dealt with in a very long time. My wife and I have moved about 3 times and this experience was the most at ease I have been in a while! Sal was my mover and he took care of my wife's 150 year old grandfather clock that has been passed down to her by her great grandparents. The care that sal took insuring that our grandfather clock was in tip-top shape was remarkable. I have never been more pleased with a company that takes care of its clients as much as pack it up movers did for our first home together. If I could give an extra star, I would! Cheli (the person who answered the phone) was very thorough and clear in how the process would work. Paco and his team of movers arrived right on time. First, they all introduced themselves, then started to wrap and move all of our furniture and items very efficiently and with great care. They also followed the Covid-19 guidelines. After interviewing 3 companies, we decided to take a chance with PIUM. They were price competitive and my brother just had a move with them so we decided to try them as well. We were beyond pleased. They sent 4 people and the move took 12 hours and they had to make 2 trips. They did not complain and wanted to make sure everything was right even at 10pm. A lot of moves in the past four years and these guys were hands down the best. On time, finished faster than estimated, nothing damaged, and handled some items that were difficult for the last movers with ease. Movers were pleasant and showed an awareness for getting it done right, but quickly. All the items were wrapped and protected, they had all the proper equipment to move and disassemble/assemble everything, and were very courteous. Prices were comparable, there are cheaper options, but from someone that has used cheaper options I never will again. Worth a couple more dollars for straight pros. They will also do a walk through prior to your actual date, to give an accurate estimate, and plan out the move ahead of time. They will call and confirm the day prior. I called Pack it Up movers again because I needed a free standing electric fireplace with mantle kit put together and I am so glad that I called them! The kit needed two men to carry the boxes upstairs and to assemble. THey had the right tools, knowledge and strength needed. I also had 4 large, heavy, area rugs to be carried carried upstairs and some heavy, awkward furniture to be moved so that the rugs could go underneath. As always, the guys worked really hard, were very patient and determined to get everything right just the way I wanted it.
