I was so fortunate to stumble across Precious Pet Car on Yelp! Leila helped me through the whole process of signing up and booking and I was able to schedule a meet-n-greet and book a stay that same morning! Truly such a kind, responsive, and accommodating process. It was my first time ever sending my dog Mochi to a sitter and I was super anxious since he's already 10years old! The meet went even better than expected. The dog area was HUGE and there were so many toys and activity spots for the dogs to play or shaded areas to just rest. Shantae asked about my dog and explained the personalities of the other dogs that would be staying with him and I felt so reassured that Mochi would be just fine. A total bonus that I wasn't expecting was getting picture updates of Mochi having a blast! Seems like the old man got to have a little vacation on his own. Shantae informed me that he whined for a couple minutes after I left, which is normal, and how he got along with the smaller dogs and got to play with the water hose! Such fun surprises to me since he normally ignores little Dogs and water in general! I cannot recommend trusting your fur pets with Leila and her team more!! I was able to celebrate my birthday with ease knowing my dog was in good hands (possibly having more fun than even me!) Every time, I drop Suki off, she is super excited to be there and when I pick Suki up, she is a happy dog and immediately passes out when we get home. One thing I love most is their team and how interpersonal and attentive they are with Suki. I love the daily reports and photos (which are too adorable) it gives me relief and joy that Suki is getting along with other companions. Leila and her team are amazing and I would always trust Suki to be with them.

I did 3 sessions…read morewith mia at our house which were super beneficial especially helping me understand my dogs innate personality traits and how to work this the dog I had in front of me. We ended up going out of town for 10 days and I was unsure who I could trust with our corgi as she is still a work in progress. We decided to board and train her with Mia. While our corgi will always be a unique challenge , I am now much more confident in how to work with her. Mias approach to training truly takes into account the dogs personality and also family dynamic. I'm thankful we found her . She is also available to help post training. No board in train will ever "fix" your dog so as new issues arrive in so thankful to have Mia as a resource to help me problem solve!

She fed each pet twice a day and walked the dog twice a day (when requested - our trip schedule was complicated and we also had other help from a friend). She even played with the cats and bought them a toy. I definitely recommend. Her fees are very reasonable for the caring services she provides. Sadly I found Barbara late in our 4 year San Diego move, just before we moved away to Denver. Very sad that it took me so long to find her. They were super accommodating, communicative, and they took the best care of our two dogs (who can be needy and a little high maintenance). One dog is a blind senior and the other one is a little anxious due to being a rescue. Each sitter took the time to make sure our pups were comfortable with them and followed the directions we laid out. They sent updates and pictures after every visit, which significantly calmed the helicopter pet parent in me. Special shoutout to Kennedy who became best buds with my usually shy, slow-to-warm-up dog! This was an amazing option to have instead of putting our dogs in boarding (which we all would have been unhappy with). They are great at providing mix-and-match options to keep cost in mind. He did a fine job, and I didn't have any major issues. My only issue in the beginning was that he told me AFTER our meet and greet that the time clock for walks starts when he walks into the building. I showed him the entrance closer to my place (which is right by the entrance), but he wasn't using that one at first. While I had wished that he communicated this during our meet and greet, I wasn't upset by it after we had established a steady routine. A few weeks/months after I settled into my new job, I had been granted the ability to work from home full time with a few occasional sporadic days in the office. I texted him to tell him that I won't need a walker after a certain date and explained that I'll be WFH. I even told him that I'd still like to reach out on days I'd have to be in-office. Later that day, he called to "ask" me what he did wrong. His tone was extremely confrontational and aggressive. I reiterated that I don't need a walker anymore because my situation had changed. He kept demanding an explanation. Honestly, I felt really put off by this. I had to tell him several times that it's because the situation had changed and it took multiple attempts to get him off the phone. He kept trying to push me because he didn't seem to believe me. Honestly, I don't care if he did. Before this conversation, I probably would have asked him to walk my dog on the days that I'd be in the office, but this made me so uncomfortable. Over the period of several months, he occasionally texted and/or called to ask me if we had any dog walking needs. I didn't answer, but eventually texted him to tell him that we did not. I understand his wanting a "reason" to try to improve. However, I gave him a reason. And even if I didn't, I don't necessarily owe him one to the point where he has to demand one repeatedly.

This place is clean, kind, and so profesional! I had my dogs stay here for three nights last…read moreweekend. I have two mini dachshunds and they are very anxious dogs, so I've never left them with anyone other than family before. When I called to inquire about a stay for them, they immediately offered to give me a tour anytime during their regular business hours. Their housing areas for the pets are clean, and the place where my dogs stayed was half inside and half outside. They were able to administer my dog's anxiety meds as normal and to provide them with their regular food, which I brought from home. They also allowed my dogs to have "human only" playtimes, as they are both reactive/fearful of other doggies. It was about $45 a night for each dog, including their daily playtimes. It is great to have this safe daycare and boarding spot so close to home, in case I'm ever away from my pets. It was a very hot weekend, so they had misters going, and kiddie pools out. They were also kind enough to post a photo of my babies on their social media while I was away, and they gave me the option of calling in to check to see how they were doing.

Spring creek used to be amazing, but they've changed. If you have a 100% healthy dog, I'm sure…read morethey will be fine. If you have a dog that needs special care, please don't leave your dog with them. They promised to take care of my dog and they didn't. They said they would monitor her eating, and they didn't. One dog needed special medicine and supplements in their food and the other didn't. The food was just left there for either one of them to eat even though the food with the medicine and supplements was clearly labeled. I reserved the private suite which was a joke, in hindsight I would have rather them be in a full size kennel. It was a holiday weekend and they were understaffed and allowed to go home early for the holiday per the manager's statement. This meant no one to take my dogs out to the bathroom. Private suites are just little rooms with beds and a TV, no place to relieve themselves. Under normal circumstances I would have never left my dog while needing special care, but I needed to fly to another state to see my best friend before she died. Bottom line, if you can't provide the care needed, don't accept the pet for boarding. You gave me your word you'd take care of her and you didn't. You said you would personally monitor and look out for her and you didn't. She died shortly after her stay. Let me be clear that her stay did not cause her death, but she needed extra care during her stay, you promised to provide her that care, and you did not. I trusted you. We will never be back, ever.
