So much in fact that Yoshi now recognizes the street they're on before we drop him off at daycare and he gets excited! Precious Pet Care checks all the marks for us: they're kind, attentive, close by (bonus points!), and they offer an extensive amount of services that are far beyond my imagination. Who knew my dog could get supervised socialization in an intimate setting, get groomed when needed, and get dropped off by their Magic Pink bus? I mean, I can't with all of this cuteness! I also appreciate that they're flexible with accommodating Yoshi, especially since our work schedules are a little crazy sometimes. Their end of day report cards are also so thoughtful and I look forward to reading them every time. There are many great doggy daycare and boarding spots to take your pets to, but Precious Pet Care is top tier and by far the happiest we've ever been with pet care services. Yoshi looks forward to many more playdates with the pack.

A neighbor recommended Katie of Wolf Girl Canine Club on Nextdoor, and I decided to give training one more shot. Boy, am I glad I did. Katie worked magic with our sled dog. She now expects to play the "heel game" on every walk, and when we run out of treats, she still stays right by my side. What a difference. Walks are now a joy, and the carpal tunnel that I didn't know was caused by the sled dog has eased. I loved how Wolf Girl Canine Club approaches training with kindness and patience - no choke collars, shock collars, or harsh reprimands. Our sweet but stubborn girl heeled because she wanted to. She adored her friend Katie and looked forward to the training sessions. And, while she had suffered from abandonment issues with the other trainer, by the second lesson, she was ignoring us and happily setting off with her new friend. Katie also kept us up to date with photos and even training videos so that we could see er work and follow-up on her progress. This extra effort really helped us stay on track. Our 4 month old puppy, Atlas, had a rough start at life and I was so worried he would lose so much of his progress if we went away, but Mia stepped in and helped out so much with his training and care! He came back such a great walker with good habits and better manners with other pups and people. I met with Mia before deciding to do the board and train and she was so detailed and knowledgeable. It made me feel very comfortable with her and Atlas. We discussed in detail his current training, my goals, and concerns and worries I had, etc. She was very thorough and made sure to keep us updated on his progress while we were away. We ended up going out of town for 10 days and I was unsure who I could trust with our corgi as she is still a work in progress. We decided to board and train her with Mia. While our corgi will always be a unique challenge , I am now much more confident in how to work with her. Mias approach to training truly takes into account the dogs personality and also family dynamic. I'm thankful we found her . She is also available to help post training. No board in train will ever "fix" your dog so as new issues arrive in so thankful to have Mia as a resource to help me problem solve!

She fed each pet twice a day and walked the dog twice a day (when requested - our trip schedule was complicated and we also had other help from a friend). She even played with the cats and bought them a toy. I definitely recommend. Her fees are very reasonable for the caring services she provides. Sadly I found Barbara late in our 4 year San Diego move, just before we moved away to Denver. Very sad that it took me so long to find her. They were super accommodating, communicative, and they took the best care of our two dogs (who can be needy and a little high maintenance). One dog is a blind senior and the other one is a little anxious due to being a rescue. Each sitter took the time to make sure our pups were comfortable with them and followed the directions we laid out. They sent updates and pictures after every visit, which significantly calmed the helicopter pet parent in me. Special shoutout to Kennedy who became best buds with my usually shy, slow-to-warm-up dog! This was an amazing option to have instead of putting our dogs in boarding (which we all would have been unhappy with). They are great at providing mix-and-match options to keep cost in mind. He did a fine job, and I didn't have any major issues. My only issue in the beginning was that he told me AFTER our meet and greet that the time clock for walks starts when he walks into the building. I showed him the entrance closer to my place (which is right by the entrance), but he wasn't using that one at first. While I had wished that he communicated this during our meet and greet, I wasn't upset by it after we had established a steady routine. A few weeks/months after I settled into my new job, I had been granted the ability to work from home full time with a few occasional sporadic days in the office. I texted him to tell him that I won't need a walker after a certain date and explained that I'll be WFH. I even told him that I'd still like to reach out on days I'd have to be in-office. Later that day, he called to "ask" me what he did wrong. His tone was extremely confrontational and aggressive. I reiterated that I don't need a walker anymore because my situation had changed. He kept demanding an explanation. Honestly, I felt really put off by this. I had to tell him several times that it's because the situation had changed and it took multiple attempts to get him off the phone. He kept trying to push me because he didn't seem to believe me. Honestly, I don't care if he did. Before this conversation, I probably would have asked him to walk my dog on the days that I'd be in the office, but this made me so uncomfortable. Over the period of several months, he occasionally texted and/or called to ask me if we had any dog walking needs. I didn't answer, but eventually texted him to tell him that we did not. I understand his wanting a "reason" to try to improve. However, I gave him a reason. And even if I didn't, I don't necessarily owe him one to the point where he has to demand one repeatedly.

This always makes me nervous when choosing anyone to work with them. Jeremy is actually the only person I am comfortable choosing when it comes to caring for my dogs. Especially my older dog who displays reactive behavior while on leash. Jeremy knows exactly how to handle my dogs, and keeps them calm and happy! This is why it was an easy choice to ask him to act as our Wedding Chaperone for the dogs on our wedding day! The dogs had a big job of walking down the aisle and I was so nervous how they would react before and after the ceremony. Because of his help they did AMAZING! What made this service so special is that 1) Jeremy is very professional and thoughtful and came dressed ceremony ready. 2) He took a lot of time and was very intentional about making sure the dogs were comfortable. 3) He made sure the dogs had everything they needed at all times! He even called ahead of time asking if he should print a pop up tent to shield them from the sun! So so thoughtful! 4) He was a lifesaver during family photos and helped get the dogs posed!! An IMPOSSIBLE task! But he made it happen! 5) When it was time to say goodbye he reviewed the dog's nighttime routine with us and I knew they were in great hands! So I could relax for the rest of my wedding! He brought them home, walked them, fed them and kept us up to date on everything we needed to know! In summary, Jeremy really helped make this day special for us. We couldn't have picked a better person to care for our dogs and make the dream of the dogs being present a reality!! For anyone who wants to involve their dogs in their special day or any other special events, I highly recommend using him for your event! It gives you the peace of mind to enjoy yourself while knowing your precious cargo is well cared for! Prices were fair, communication is outstanding, response time is prompt! I read some of the poor reviews and I believe the problem is not the Springs staff, but the poor judgment of people leaving their pets. Who leaves a pet that has an incision from a recent surgery? That is just poor judgment. And all the cost and expectations of boarding at the springs is on the website. The staff at the Springs have always been professional and honest. For example, we were having Louie have 3 playtimes, but after discussing the times with the staff, they suggested two were really enough for him. He is mostly an indoor dog and loves to play, but also likes his alone time. We love the staff and the wonderful attention and love they give to Louie. Thank you so much.
