We had been using this service for about a year. The dogs had been there about a half-dozen times. Overall, the dogs always looked good, so we kept returning. However, the customer service needs improvement. Yesterday, a Friday, we dropped our dog off around noon for our scheduled appointment and then returned to work. Around 2 pm, I received a text that our dog was ready. However, I did not notice the text until about 3 pm since I was at work. We received a second text that our dog "has been ready for an hour. There will be an additional fee for a late pick-up". What? I texted around 3 pm "at what time is the late fee assessed?" She responded, "3:30". But her hours of operation are until 4. Puzzled why we were threatened with a late fee 30 minutes before closing, we rushed down there. Maybe there was a written policy I had not noticed. Just before driving down, I then noticed a phone message from the owner received an hour earlier, around 2 pm, stating that our dog was "ready and just so you know, he is my last dog of the day". Ah, now the picture was being framed. I spoke with the owner, and I asked if she had a written policy indicating we had to get our pet after a certain amount of time after they were finished. She said, "No, nothing published." I asked, if that's the case, why did she text us that we were being threatened with a late fee 30 minutes before closing? Her response, "To get your attention". We used Suds n Paws for years with no complaints. This year has been the worst. They do not respond to phone calls. I can only conclude they don't want older dogs with mobility problems. They have a high turnover in groomers. We don't recommend this place anymore. read more

Super small and efficient shop. They have crates but if your dog can be out of one, they will let your puppy roam. The full groom never takes very long and they do a great job! They aren't overly priced like many of the other places around which is why I can see how they have been around for so long. We will be long time customers and my dog isn't traumatized when we pick her up. read more

This place is awesome!! I stopped by to have my Akita/ Husky mix groomed was was completely wowed by their customer service! First- my girl is not the most dog friendly (with smaller pups) and they were able to still accommodate her! They were so sweet and kind to her and I did not worry at all that my girl would be under any stress- even with a new groomer! 2. The service was so fast! In less than an hour and a half my girl was been brushed twice, shampooed and conditioned, had her nails trimmed and paw pads done too! For a Large dog that is a very quick completion time. I will be returning back here not only for the quick and easy service but also for their wonderful prices! My puppy is super shy around humans and other dogs, and he's very stubborn like all husky breeds, so I was kinda worried how he would react with other dogs in the waiting area. I spoke to Julie the night before regarding my concerns and she assured me that it won't be an issue and that they have kennels that they can put him worst case scenario. It was a total longshot because, well, they were closed, so how was I even going to get a morning appointment for the next day? Well, somehow everything worked out because someone did get my message and gave me a quick call letting me know that I could come in first thing in the morning. Excellent! I come in, I explain that I am new to having a dog needing to be groomed, so I asked questions about what they recommended for my dog and what to do moving forward. They were able to answer my questions and explain the process for me. All the staff were nice and all the dogs there seemed pretty happy. It's the kind of groomer where the dogs walk around in a common area (you can see it when you walk in) and the doggos can interact as they wait for their turn or wait for their owners to pick them up. They do a great job grooming and my dog always looks great but my pup for some reason does not like going there. The last time I took him he started shaking so bad that I almost didn't leave him.
