We had a 7 day trip to Kauai during the thanksgiving week which tuned into 10 days due to plane delays. Matt and Alicia were there every day twice a day to take care our our precious dogs. They gave the dogs much needed attention, every morning and night. They fed them and made sure they were safe for the night. When we didn't come home as planned due to delays they were there to make sure the dogs were taken care. Alicia is very professional and took pictures daily updating me on my dogs well being. Matt played with them and my dogs just licked him and loved him. I was very pleased with Family Pet Sitting and I would highly recommend them. We don't go many places due to having the two dogs. I would definitely use their services again.

Dr Singh diagnosed him with pancreatitis and recommended two days of Iv fluids along with three days of panoquell CA-1 injections at a cost of approximately $4000, Mike was to take Tully home at 6 pm and bring him back at 9 am for the next two days By Wednesday morning when he brought him back his condition appeared to be worsening he was showing signs of pain, weakness and overall declining health. I accompanied mike that night we had asked several staff on Tulllys condition while waiting to see him, but none of them had seen him that day. When dr Singh came in, I asked direct questions about tullys worsening condition and that he appeared to be in pain. We felt that we did not receive clear answers regarding his condition, prognosis or pain management. Tully was so weak that his staff carried him to the car On Thursday morning his health had deteriorated so severely he could not lift his head and we could barely carry him to the car, so a staff technician came out to the car to administer his final injection of panoquell CA1. We showed her that he was trembling in pain and we were now offered pain relief in the form of an Iv injection of morphine. We were told dr Singh would come to the car to discuss Tullys condition, but that conversation never took place. Before leaving I asked what we should do if Tully was not improving by the next day, we were advised to take him to the La Mesa emergency hospital By Friday Tullys condition had become critical he was crying out in pain and we rushed him to the emergency hospital . Within about 30 minutes we learned how severe his condition had become. Mike was faced with the heart breaking decision to euthanize him because he was suffering and his prognosis was extremely poor. Losing a beloved pet is devastating. What has made this experience especially difficult is our feeling that we did receive clear communication about Tullys worsening condition, prognosis, pain management option, or when emergency care should have been sought. We are sharing our experience so that other pet owners will ask detailed questions, closely monitor their pets progress during treatment, and consider seeking a second option if their pets condition continues to decline

Well, the last few times she hurt my puppy's nails, because she cut too much and bled near the nerve, but ok, it's the closest place so I took her there again to take a shower today. I arranged 12 pm today, however, she texted me, asking me to arrive 30 minutes later, but I didn't see it. She could have called since I didn't answer. But did she call? NO! I live two minutes from the pet shop, I could come back later and that's fine. I arrived and said I could wait without any problem. She closed her face and started saying that she didn't want me to say because it stressed the dog and she and that she likes to work alone. I was VERY GRACELESS and asked what was better to do and she said: "let her there or bring her back later". I left, brought my puppy and I'll NEVER come back. I sent a message after that canceling the shower and I still had to read her saying she was stressed! And what do I have to do with. This???? Don't you have the patience to answer? Don't answer! My little dog will NEVER go back there.

We received multiple updates a day with pictures, videos, and progress updates letting us know what training and commands were being worked on that day. We also had some diarrhea issues with our pup recently and Lauren was nice enough to try different foods with our girl to see what worked with her stomach and what didnt (something we were too scared to do lol), and once we were back home, Lauren came and dropped our pup off at our house so she could do an in-home training session with us to go over all of the training she got, which was such an awesome bonus. We've kept going with her training and are happy to report that shes doing SO well and learned so many valuable things during her stay, and our girl loved Lauren so much. When we met with the vet for the first time he said the dog may have ear infection and to watch for it . We back to get 2nd vaccine and we ask to check the ears again since we think something going on , and the said our appointment for vaccination only ! And we need to book another appointment and the only availability its a week from now ! How didn't even lift her ear to have a quick look while im there for vaccination!!! Really unprofessional and disrespectful. The vet and the employee was rude ! I'm glad I found them! They got Chloe in right away, cleaned up her ears and inserted meds. She did have to go back for a follow up, because the first round of meds didn't quite clear up the infection. The staff is very kind and knowleadable and I'm happy to have a back up vet for my babies.
